Loved our stay here! It's one of those accommodations where you'd want to spend some time in it and not just use it for a night's rest. The feeling of lodging in a palatial structure with beautifully curated premises felt quite royal. Our room was quite cozy and well air conditioned for a comfortable sleep. The open terraces were welcoming to just sit and relax or walk from one section to another. There is a swimming pool at the center that looks rather inviting. We enjoyed walking around and exploring the area. The reason for taking away 1 star is for dining options. You're restricted to a slightly pricy (per Morocco standards) "menu of the day" without too many choices. There aren't many restaurants in the immediate area. You either have to make do with what they have or drive in the direction of Ouarzazate (30 mins) with other hotel-restaurants on the way. Breakfast was pretty good though. Worth noting that the hotel is very close to the main attraction in the area (5-10 mins by car) - Aït Benhaddou. This and the actual beauty of the hotel is reason good enough to consider your stay here. WiFi is available.

The place is beautiful, the servers are wonderful, but unfortunately I had an issue with my stay afterwards. I booked a reservation online and paid online however, my credit card was charged twice even though I already paid in advance. I have tried to get refunded but the people that work the front desk are incompetent and don't know how to refund my credit card. The charges were more than what I paid online and it's frustrating to set here thousands of miles away trying to communicate with them to have my money back. It's insane how they don't have a clue how to deal with issues like this!!!! I will advise anyone who wishes to stay there to keep their credit cards out of reach because apparently these people don't know how to deal with people that actually use online booking and credit card charges!!!

Whoever designed this hotel, did a good job. Decorations are exotic, earthy and give warmth atmosphere. We get a nice view room also. However, it is not practical. There is no devider between the shower section, so water splashed all over the place, and the floor is ceramic(?) So, it is very slippery until it gets dried. The reception staff was not so friendly. I asked a piece of paper and she was "what is ur room#, we will send you". I said " I just need a blank small paper to something write on. Can i have it?". She rolled her eyes and said something to her coworkers in their language then gave me a blank paper. It was that hard to give a blank paper?! Foods were OK..bc we were in the tour. Overall l, this is a still nice hotel but not 5 stars yet.

As a frequent guest with Adventures Overland, Hotel Riad Ksar Ighnda is a convenient choice, just a 5-minute drive from the UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou. With ample parking for 10-12 cars, friendly staff, and decent food, it offers a comfortable stay. Its charm lies in the serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The specialty of Hotel Riad Ksar Ighnda is that it offers more than just convenience. Its traditional Moroccan architecture coupled with lush gardens creates a peaceful place. Guests can immerse themselves in local culture with authentic Moroccan cuisine and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding Atlas Mountains.

Turned up with our one year old son, for two nights on a Morocco tour, the place was a building site. All facilities were closed. The pool was closed off with some tape around it. Wires sticking out of the ground. No cafe. No restaurant. No outside seating. We basically just had a room. For £500 for two nights this is disgusting.

Hotel Ksar Ighnda is a jewel, from the suite with an expansive balcony to the sweeping views. The owner Pascal Petrone is charming, welcoming, and generous. His efforts to preserve the local culture and history are commendable. The hotel team is very professional, warm and hospitable. We can’t wait to return!

A wonderful peaceful place. The hotel is an ancient Kasba which has been lovely restored by Pascal the owner. It still has the original mosque (still in use), the bread oven and other structures. It is situated in the very heart of the village and has a wonderful garden. The internal patio is an oasis of peace with water and green spaces. The rooms are splendidly decorated and with all comforts. The restaurant serves great cuisine and the staff is super. It is also the perfect place to stay if you to explore the wondeful surrounding region.

This riad is super overpriced.! Do not recommend! Total mediocrity Presentation on their site promises so much in terms of design, experience etc. , however the whole experience is rather basic, and there is nothing premium about it. We had a superior room _ very small ; heating did not work properly ; roof ( covered with textile) not clean ; all utilities like tea cattle, coffee machine etc. where super cheap. The restaurant was ok for Moroccan food but their attempts for "international cuisine" were really mediocre. Spa & hammam to be avoided at all costs if possible. The place is not properly maintained. No proper heating except for hammam room ( one risks getting a cold whilst going there for a massage). There is only one therapist that does hammam, massage etc. she is rushed and does not have a good knowledge of anatomy so she risks injuring some during the massage. The staff was very nice, but it is obvious this place is past his golden age ( if it ever had one); and management is dormant in terms of bringing it to XXI hospitality. I do not recommend. A true disappointment!

Bread was old. Service took already all the plates before we could finish the food. Gambas entry has only 4 shrimps. Price cost vs quality not good.

We were a few weeks ago with my boyfriend at the Riad and it was INCREDIBLE! the service, the food and the facilities of the riad are wonderful! All the staff are very helpful and friendly, the service we had was very personalized and special, my boyfriend had a birthday and we had a private dinner and they prepared a very special cake for us and the staff played music with typical instruments, it was an unforgettable experience !! 100% recommended for your stay in Ouarzazate. We will definitely back!! Thank you soo much Pascal and his team for an unforgettable experience 😍❤️

Beautiful hotel with lots of amenities. The best thing, though, was Mohamed’s generous tour of the old village and his explanations of the history of the region and the hotel. He was so kind to us - he made the stay great.

Starting with accommodation - absolutely fantastic villa with a private pool and large 6 bed rooms - large kitchen and family area just ideal for a large family or group of friends Dinner & Breakfast - dinner was below average, pizza was warmed up frozen pizza, salad that was served was not what was ordered - vegetarian salad had fish, salad came in too late that it had to be packed Service - very friendly staff compensated for the food :-) - must call our Ibrahim who was at his best in the evening and at breakfast always wanting to help

nice 3-star hotel - good value The hotel is a nice little oasis in the desert with a lovely courtyard, pretty pool, several charming lounge areas, built adjoining an old kasbah and built in a traditional kasbah style. So the ambience is just lovely. The room we had was fine - not the nicest we’ve had in Morocco but fine for overnight and good value for the price paid. Our only disappointments were the COLD pool (too cold to enjoy in April despite looking so inviting!) and the breakfast (plenty of choice, just not the greatest quality, but it was included in the room price so we didn’t feel ripped off). We did not eat dinner in the hotel because we were under the impression that it was pricey and the dining room didn’t have much charm, but in hindsight we should have done so as the buffet looked decent and the options near the hotel are limited. One thing that confused us was that we could add on breakfast (and dinner and other services) online before our arrival, but yet at least in the case of breakfast, it was included. So we were relieved we hadn’t paid extra for it, but also don’t know why it was given as an option to add on?! Overall we felt the value for the hotel was right and it was a good choice compared to other options in in the Ait Benhaddou area.

A very confortable hotel: fancy room, good pool area and a nice dinner. The negative opinion is related to the poor breakfast: no bread, no fruits, no options if you decide to take the breakfast near to 10 o'clock.

Food was very expensive for Morocco however you do not get what you pay for. Flavourless, lukewarm and uninspiring food in contrast to the homecooked food we had each night in far cheaper and basic accommodation. It's clear the experience is to trying to cater to all through the buffet selection but as such it leaves a lot to be desired. The hotel itself is lovely how if possible avoid the food.

We had a great stay at this hotel and regret that we only stayed one night. The grounds are absolutely picturesque and you feel like you are in an oriental fairy tale. The rooms are spacious and clean. Even with a baby crib you have enough space in the room. The staff is very accommodating and friendly and the price performance is completely right. We will gladly come again.

We stopped for a quick drink (and the toilet - children) only, so I can't speak to much, but it is quite beautiful and the service was very good. I would definitely consider staying here on my next trip to the area. Effectively seemed like a resort - modern, but in a very traditional style.

I booked via the website of the hotel - left my credit card details - despite very early cancelation my credit card was debited on the "supposed" day of arrival. Many calls and e-mails and apologies later, the hotel reassured me that I would be refunded. We are now almost 3 months later and still nothing has happened ...reason why I am formalizing my extreme frustration and complaint. I read great reviews about the hotel itself but there is a serious and unacceptable mismanagement of the website and e-mail follow-up and communication which is extremely worrying and unacceptable.

Beautiful rambling Riad with wonderful grounds and fantastic staff. Not much to do around but it is the perfect place to take a chill out break during a hectic 2 week trip

Beautiful hotel. The included meals were very poor for vegans in the group. However if you are not vegan which most people still are not eventhough they should consider it for the benefit of the planet, compassion for animals, their own health you will eat plenty of meat and seafood.

Very nice and beautiful hotel with pool and view. The decoration and atmosphere is superb. The diner outside near the pool is amazing. Not many option to choose from but each one is very very good. The avocado salad is excellent as well as the lamb. The rooms unfortunately are very small. The beds un not comfortable. Pillows are hard and flat.

Very nice hotel "riad" style. Clean rooms, nice views from the top floor. We had a small terrace with table and chairs looking inside the garden. Friendly staff and excellent service. Swimming pool inside. Garden nicely illuminated at night time. A lot of places to sit, have a drink and relax inside the garden, in the morning and in the evening
