food was ok, but we wanted octopus and it was just an entrance with 3-4 pieces over a ton of potatoes.... actually we saw the guy cutting the octopus directly eating... not comming back

I love this restaurant. On Sunday it was terribly crowded, BUT we managed to get a table for seven without previous reservation. The server is very helpful, and the food is good. There is a bit of smoke in the restaurant, and thus my shirts smells like after being at a BBQ. We have been there twice during our 3-day stay in Ourense.

Great octopus starter and the mixed grilled meat was amazing. The staff are all helpful, even the grill chef popped his head up to ask if all ok. All cooked properly on a real charcoal grill. Would highly recommend this if your in town

Delicious food, very reasonable prices.

I think it's fair to say this is where I had my all time favourite Pulpo a Galego here. It was made just after the chef brought in the boxes of fresh octopus from the market and I couldn't resist ordering an entire racion for myself as they looked so good. He made it right in front of me and served it the standard galegian way - and it was utterly delightful. Would definitely go back as the chef was also great to talk too, but the quality of that pulpo....unreal.

Excellent restaurant! Full menu (1st plate + 2nd plate + dessert) all for 10€, but really relevant is that all food is very well prepared. A MUST IN OURENSE

I come here every time I am in Ourense. Fantastic menu del dia. Includes pulpo! Amazingly good value for what you get. Highly recommend it!
