Great place to eat, no questions asked. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The place is clean and well organized comfy. The food was top notch, very tasty and they give you a lot of food for a really fair price. I recommend this place no doubt about it if your around and looking for a place to eat.

WOAAAW, this is definitely one of the best octopus I've ever eaten 🤤🤤 it was just perfectly cooked and seasoned and it's definitely worth trying if you happen to be in Ourense! I also took some pimento de padron and those were EXCELLENT, I will most probably be back here tomorrow or the day after! Maybe even the two days actually. Friendly staff and super fast service, I literally sat down, ordered and two minutes later I was served, what else could you need..

Best pulpo (octopus) ever! We ask for the one on the grill on a bed of potatoes with ajada (olive oil + garlic). Also we tried the "zamburiñas", delicious! We had those two starters and a side salad and it was more than enough for a lunch for two. The attention was superb as well.

Ok, this will sound over the top, because so was my meal here. Very simply the best octopus and scallops I have ever eaten. Paired with a wonderful chilled local wine, bread and green peppers my expectations were far exceeded. I cannot recommend more highly. Reasonably priced with very helpful staff.

Huge portions, super fast service, great prices but very salty. I spent the rest of the day trying to find water.

Good for a quick bite and a drink or a sit down meal. In the house of octopus, the octopus didn't disappoint.

Small and cozy place to have a great dish of grilled octopus or pulpo. One of the best tasting dish in orense in my opinion.

Traditional food in a very informal but authentic place. Octopus is its speciality but other Galician and Spanish plates are also available. Variety of Galician wines and kind service.

Simply place, couple high tables and chairs in an alley the pulpo was phenomenal, we also took tortillas for later and it was so delicious

We had fried octopus and grilled squid plus some Albarino and Godello wine. What a nice experience- the food was fresh, prepared quickly and delicious. I saw other people enjoying a simple plate of fresh sliced tomatoes, everything is dressed with local olive oil. Just the best!

The food is really good there, tough it's a little bit expensive and since the place is often sl crowded, the service cannot attend all customers' requirements.

Average tavern trying to be special. The octopus is not up to Galician standards but it’s amazing if you live in Ireland and come here to try it out. There’s only one fish option and all the meat is what you would expect to eat at your grandma’s, homey comfort food. Follow my advice and if you come here order the simplest plates: Raxo (pork stew), tortilla, and empanada, maybe a 1/2 pulpo or the deer meatballs.

Ok for the service with room for improvement for the food.
