A lot of space, great house and very clean. The staff is amazing. I was 2 hours too early and I was invited to wait in the garden. All the people had a single or double room booked and I was alone in the basement where all the other beds are, so the owner gave me a free double room. I can only recommend this place! The next town is 10 minutes walk away and it's near to the Camino.

Miguel (the owner of the Albergue) is a great and very positive person. He welcomed us and made us feel like at home. The Albergue is super nice with more than everything which is needed to peregrines. I would suggest anyone to come and enjoy this place and the peaceful atmosphere you can breathe here.

An amazing albergue and a place to stay along the camino, although its located on the main road in between the two towns and from the outside it looks simple.. The rooms are just great with clean linen and towels, showers and toilets were constantly sparkling clean, the host made all he could to make us feel at home. There's also an amazing pizzeria /Italian restaurant nearby. Overall we had an amazing stay in the albergue and definitely recommend staying there

Miguel is a wonderful host. He greeted us at the door with a big welcoming smile and put a cold bottle of water into our hands and proceeded to carry our packs up to our room. The place is very well maintained with a lounge area and full kitchen, private showers. Beds are very comfortable and we had a room to ourselves overlooking the bay. Our initial concern about the proximity to the main road from a nous perspective was dispelled as we found the place very quite inside. He has a small shop serving a variety of items to eat. He also referred us to an Italian restaurant 100m up the road which was very good. Had an excellent night's sleep. Highly recommended stay over.

Love this place. Miguel is a fantastic host. Hotel near by but Miguel also has loads of food to purchase. Also nice walk down to the local beach or if you prefer you can lay off on the hammock in the backyard enjoy.

Amazing albergue! On of the best albergues on the Spain site of the Caminho Portugues. Miguel is such a warm, friendly and gentle hostel owner. I felt comfortable there from the first second. He even carried my bag to the room and gave amazing tipps for the surroundings (I went to a little beach without another person there, so beautiful). Albergue is very clean and cosy. There is everything a pilgrim needs. Good kitchen for preparing food and even a hammock in the garden. Nice views to the sea. I was so happy to have stayed there and definitely would come back! Highly recommended :-)

I originally was going to stay in a different town, but after seeing the great reviews for this albergue, I decided to push on. I'm so glad I decided to stop here. Miguel is incredibly kind and hospitable. He is living his dream of running an albergue. Ask him about his story, it's great! His mini-market/food shop saved me on this Sunday when I couldn't find food anywhere else! I felt extremely comfortable and at home here. If I had another night to spare, I'd easily spend it here. By the way, the view of the water from the third floor of his place is absolutely gorgeous. :)

The best albergue! Miguel is very welcoming, polite and generous. Beds are comfortable, there was also living room, kitchen and nice garden with hammock. Bathroom also nice. There are some restaurants near the place. Totally recommend.

Wonderful! We booked the albergue a day before but also possible to come without booking. Rooms (single/double) are clean and cool in hot weather, capacity 28 persons, enough showers and possible to buy food & drinks and other necessities (earplugs, sunscreen etc.) in the albergue. Miguel is an amazing and very helpful host, he even drilled a hole into my scallop shell so I could hang it on my backpack. The albergue is near a big road but the service and hospitality make up for it more than enough. Would recommend!

Beautiful!!! This was a perfect place to stop. My wife and I were able to get a private room. Used the laundry machines to clean everything. Staff was so nice and friendly. We walked into town for groceries, used the nice big kitchen. Awesome stay!
