One of the better places we stayed at. Beds and rooms nice and tidy and clean. The owner was really great and we stayed up with her for the night. Great common room and we had songs playing with everyone. Has a music setup for anyone who wants to perform. The stamp was the best one we had as well!

A nice Albergue with a great service and sense of hospitality. It has the nicest stamp of the Camino Portuguese from Porto. You also get a personalized toilet cabinet that can be shared according to availabilities and bunk beds have a privacy curtain. The Albergue is a very ancient one and located in the old town of Caldas de Reis.

Yolanda was great! She welcomes you with open arms and everything is clean you are treated as family. The bunks are nice and the curtain is great! When I first arrived Yolanda pointed out the must knows and told me what to see and what not to. Overall I recommend staying here if you are in the area. Cheers!

It was a delightful experience to stay here. I was invited to share the family meal, wine and a rendition of Bohemian Raphsody. Lovely people.

A big recommendation to go to this Albergue!! The host is a super friendly lady and her daughter too! We came with a group of peregrinos in April. We made pizza together, made music together and had a laugh together. It was nice to receive this kind of hospitality. Also the stamp you receive is beautiful and made with care. The beds are wonderful with a curtain and everything is hygienic. 10/10! Thank you for everything!

Very charming little hostel in the centre of Caldas de Reis. Yorli is a heartwarming person and had always a open ear if you have questions or need help! Nice place to stay!

After a couple bad nights in Public Albergues, I decided to switch it up and look for a Private Albergue and my goodness it was a great decision. Yolanda is an absolute gem whose service is top notch. Not to mention you get a special wax stamp for staying there that every subsequent stamper has commented on :P

There are only handful albergues as good as this one is. Here We got best stamp on our Camino portugues. Host was very friendly. We ordered very fine red wine for decent price. Clothes could be washed and dried. If I decide for Camino portugues again I will book this albergue if will be available.

Lovely alburgue with a lovely "hostel mum" that makes those walking through her doors feel homely. This is an ancient building with alot of history. Please treat this place like a home because that's what it's set up to be. A home away from home with a personable host who booked a lovely restaurant for us in the evening. Mucho Gracias Yoli, come back to Chinatown Singapore soon ;))

Just the stamp alone was worth staying here for, everyone was wowed by it. The girl on the front desk was the best. I had a better night sleep here then in the hotels. The best hostel ever. Quite simple and only really for sleeping but cafe across the path.

What a lovely hostel right in the heart of Caldas de Reis with an amazing owner. She is extremely nice, simple, honest and speaks from the heart. She made me feel right at home and she will stop at nothing to help in any way she can. She truly embodies the spirit of the camino so i highly recommend this place. It really made me feel blessed to have stayed here for the night, what a morale boost.

We stayed here as pilgrims on the Camino Portugues after a recommentation. Positive first: The welcome was very friendly, the location is nice (very central but still quiet) and the breakfast was okay. But the whole house was very unclean and messy (dust everywhere, a lot of hair on the floor and on the supposedly freshly washed sheets, dirty spoons etc). It seems like the Albergue has been neglected a bit since many reviews mention that it is a tidy place. If you want to come and stay there, maybe because of the (very pretty indeed) stamp, maybe ask to see the rooms and sanitary places before to decide if you want to stay.
