To avoid absolutely. The most rude staff I have ever seen. My boyfriend tried to speak in french (as they don’t speak english) and asked a lady to help us find something and she kept saying “What”multiple times and made arrogant faces until she “corrected” him and laughed at his french. Also, she was completely wrong about what we asked. Never going again!!

When I was leaving Brico without purchases, the cashier treated me like a potential thief. He ordered to show the content of my backpack in front of many people waiting in line. A truly humiliating and traumatic experience! I will never visit Brico Auderghem again and advise everyone to do the same! All those products can be easily found on the internet...

They are expensive and not customer oriented, they are more than double prices to Ikea and less choices

Update after 5 years - STILL FAR AWAY FROM their CUSTOMERS +: location is OK, everything fancy and cosy by now (though, disabled customers cannot park nearby at all... is it yet deliberate?...); new personnel is better in reaction time, outlook (i.e. no hangover faces and... smell on Saturdays) and better willingness than amongst former stuff. - negative: I've got their loyalty card for the last 20+ years and spend (!) thousands of euros at Brico Belgium every year (so, that is visible in IT system). No big drama with replacement or reimbursement of a faulty product (which is apparent at Brico too), so far no issue, except these nasty trade-keepers there. This time, for a brand new, scratch free in return, but still expensive and 100% dysfunctional electric product we had to argue with the "lead" of the Magazin whether it is second hand already after the first test-use or not... so underclass and disrespectful in all senses. The man of the hill have literally tried to abolish the EU customer rights and keep my entire daily earning in their counter. Ridiculous stile and treatment from a bossy tradesfolk who is trained enough to play a dirty game to 'safeguard' the weekly cash-flow of the boot. Luckily my customer was with me and she is a very good lawyer;-). Only one advice for non-lawyers, like myself: AVOID THEM! They've got now sticky hands with younger and better trained personnel, but buying anything is still your own RISK... NB: within a pricy products' range! There are way better online and phisical traders around (even Brico ones); a little web search saves a lot of time, nerves and (!) money for you, as usual.

They are rude and they have only few items compare to Ikea and very expensive to other stores nearby (in the same area). To save money go to Ikea with 50% less than this store.

Big shop has almost everything you might want for house, gardening etc. Its a bit hard to find your way around as the indicators are way too high and the type size is way too small and it merges with the rest of the shop. The staff is sometimes friendly sometimes lazy.

Super close from Metro station. Take metro and stop at Demey station and you’re there. I was looking for cardboards and I got two of them!

I am always amazed at how much staff such shops employ. Nearly everybody has a question. I have had very good technical advice in this shop although it depends who you are dealing with. The Baseline brand is absolutely to be avoided. The entrance of this shop is a bit of a mess. The BBQs have seen better days and one wonders if they are really still for sale. The pellet stove lack any information whatsoever about the technical specifications.

Been shopping there for years. Staff are quite helpful, I don't understand the negative reviews. Only that sometimes it's not easy to find anyone. Quality of the material may vary, from very good to bad.

Nice assortiment. We got surprised with the decoration department. Fun to just walk in.

Most of the staff is very friendly. You have a decent variety, even sometimes a little costly. Sadly Brico's main central often doesn't ensure regular supplies when ordered. I.e. the question of "when will you have this item available again" is often answered with "we don't know. It has been ordered it should have been back in already but so far it has not been delivered".

Love this brico the staff is more helpful than most of there others. You can usually find what you need here. Most of the others are smaller and will send you to this one if they don't have what you need in stock. This is my go to for all DIY projects. In all honesty the staff could be MORE helpful but Belgium isn't really known for its customer service.

Very good parking area. Huge shop, well equipped. Needs more staff to help customers find what we want! You need to be very very patient to find you way around if you don't know very well what you want. Once you find someone they are very helpful!

Big store, big range, well equipped. Only downside is the service, it isn't easy to find someone if you have a question. There is always parking available with handy access to other stores and eateries.

Employees are rude and disrespectful, better to go to other brands or other location
