DO.
NOT.
LIVE.
HERE.
$1200-$1400
a
month
will
get
you
a
lot
more
in
this
area
than
what
you’ll
get
at
the
Crossing.
If
you
do
choose
to
live
here,
however,
below
is
a
list
of
things
you
can
look
forward
to.
- $25
a
month
for
“Valet”
trash
pick-up
plus
the
bill
from
the
City
to
come
and
get
the
trash.
- $25
fines
for
leaving
your
trash
can
outside
your
door
even
slightly
outside
the
approved
time.
Management
will
slap
you
with
a
fine
while
both
property
dumpsters
are
literally
overflowing
and
have
trash
piled
up
around
them.
They’ll
tell
you
“breezeway
cleanliness”
is
important.
- $45
a
month
charge
for
Smart
Rent.
Something
that
is
typically
a
$5-$10
fee
or
no
fee
at
all
at
other
apartments.
The
apartment
I
moved
to
after
living
at
the
Crossing
came
with
Smart
Rent
services
and
an
Amazon
“Nest.”
No
charge.
- $3
a
month
for
“pest
control.”
I’ve
never
actually
seen
pest
control
anything
–
people,
devices…
nothing.
- Significantly
damaged/broken
fitness
center
equipment.
The
treadmills
were
damaged
the
entire
13
months
I
lived
there.
- Management
brags
about
their
less-than
24-hour
turn-around
on
maintenance
request.
To
make
this
happen,
they’ll
open
a
ticket
when
your
request
comes
in
and
then
close
it
in
the
middle
of
that
same
night,
prior
to
making
any
repairs
or
even
visiting
your
apartment.
Typically,
in
the
next
day
or
two
they’ll
stop
by
and
use
cheap
stuff
to
make
repairs.
- Broken
down
cars,
cars
with
flat
tires,
cars
parked
in
the
middle
of
the
road
overnight
because
the
owners
are
too
lazy
to
park
a
short
distance
from
the
building
(management
does
nothing
about
this),
sketchy
parking
lot
activity,
loud
music
and
general
sleep
prevention
at
all
hours
of
the
night.
- Packages
stolen,
vandalized,
or
opened
and
left
on
your
doorstep.
Management
claims
they
contract
a
security
service.
In
13
months,
I
never
saw
any
security
vehicles
or
personnel
in
the
parking
lot.
- Vague,
passive
aggressive
emails
about
pool
rules,
nighttime
noise,
drug
use,
speeding
in
the
parking
lot…
all
the
things
that
would
take
actual
work
to
fix
but
an
email
is
so
much
easier.
