If I could give this place a no stars I would! I don’t even know where to start but if you like emptying your pockets every month this is the place to be. We moved out of state quickly and unexpectedly because my husband is in the military. I had to Google search all kinds of apartments and this place made moving in soo easy. When we first arrive already you can tell they did not clean this place up. There were pet pee left on the walls of the one of the bathrooms. Pee stains one the carpets and left over stuff from the previous owners. There were soo much damage on the walls that needed to be fixed! This is the first time EVER getting charged for pest control which is something that the apartments should be responsible for but no we got charged for it. They will charge you for everything little thing they do for the apartments and they take advantage of it. The apartments won’t tell you that before you move in. Also no privacy! There are multiple times they would come in without notice! They say they give you a 24hr notice before entering but that never happen. Also I keep telling the front office I want to be home when they show up, which they show up unexpectedly and when you don’t home. which one of the times I was still in my Pajamas! What if I was taking a shower or was changing! I also had kitchen sink issues and they never actually fit it. They just unplug it and plug it back in. One time our sink was backed up that we were not able to wash dishes for 3 weeks until someone came in and fix it. Then another 3 weeks later maintenance comes in unexpectedly saying he came to fix our sink even though some already have done it. He said oh they didn’t close the “ticket”. Honestly I hate that they come in unannounced! My kids are home alone and they still come in! I don’t know them and I don’t trust them. I tried to get corporates number from the front office and they gave me a number to another apartment complex! What a joke! I will never recommend anybody to move here. We are ready to leave when it’s only been a couple months. We are ready to leave this place. Also as of right now my sink broke down again.

Update after 1 month of living here and contactng the management multiple times finally go a new sink. This should have been handled with a simple maintenance request. So if you move here be ready to have time to keep ask for something a simple as a faucet to be repaired. Still gave not been provided screen door. Still have seen a two bedroom complete with washer and dryer, which ther website still inaccurately states. Sent a maintenance request the day of move in to fix kitchen nozzle. Still has not been resolved and now have a vibrating kitchen sink whenever washing dishes. Current solution is a rubber band, which is not a permanent solution for renting a unit. My roommate issued a request to remove a wasp nest and was told to report it to pest control. Would not recommend this apartment complex they do not communicate properly. The unit does not hire enough members for there maintenance team to handle all of the request each unit has. The website still inaccurately states that 2 bedroom unit come complete with washer and dryer. For anyone considering this place this means the resident is responsible for renting washer and dryer in addition to all the other monthly fees you are responsible for as a resident.

I absolutely love living here! The main reason we have had such a good experience here is because the office staff is amazing! But the one that mostly stands out is Yolanda! She is kind hearted, gets things done, makes everything easier to handle if somethings not to your liking. One of the most hard working and caring person ive ever met. i vouch for her and her professionalism. i have never anything but hard work from her! If it wasn't for needing a bigger apartment i would stay here for a good while. Staff takes care of the complexes and maintenance does their best to upkeep with the work orders.

I am shocked to read the reviews below mine. I have lived here almost 3 years and every SINGLE time I have needed something the entire staff have been more than happy to accommodate my needs. I pay my rent on time and follow the community rules as well. I'm guessing that might have something to do with it. The people I speak with in my area are very pleased with maintenance. The community uses apps for us to unlock the gym (CONVENIENT!), and also to place a maintenance request. Once, I had a request for my air conditioner as it was not running smoothly. A maintenance guy was at my apartment within the hour. It was a SUNDAY MORNING. BOOM. It was fixed. I had a battery go out in my "smart device" and they fixed it and brought extra batteries. This took them 2 hours. I could provide the entire list, but you are realizing that it is not one sided. I love my home and this community. Our maintenance guys care. They are very polite and work hard for us. Maybe you should try to do their jobs before you get on here and complain about others? Anyway, KUDOS to this community. It is a great place to call home. The office staff is pretty awesome too!

DO. NOT. LIVE. HERE. $1200-$1400 a month will get you a lot more in this area than what you’ll get at the Crossing. If you do choose to live here, however, below is a list of things you can look forward to. - $25 a month for “Valet” trash pick-up plus the bill from the City to come and get the trash. - $25 fines for leaving your trash can outside your door even slightly outside the approved time. Management will slap you with a fine while both property dumpsters are literally overflowing and have trash piled up around them. They’ll tell you “breezeway cleanliness” is important. - $45 a month charge for Smart Rent. Something that is typically a $5-$10 fee or no fee at all at other apartments. The apartment I moved to after living at the Crossing came with Smart Rent services and an Amazon “Nest.” No charge. - $3 a month for “pest control.” I’ve never actually seen pest control anything – people, devices… nothing. - Significantly damaged/broken fitness center equipment. The treadmills were damaged the entire 13 months I lived there. - Management brags about their less-than 24-hour turn-around on maintenance request. To make this happen, they’ll open a ticket when your request comes in and then close it in the middle of that same night, prior to making any repairs or even visiting your apartment. Typically, in the next day or two they’ll stop by and use cheap stuff to make repairs. - Broken down cars, cars with flat tires, cars parked in the middle of the road overnight because the owners are too lazy to park a short distance from the building (management does nothing about this), sketchy parking lot activity, loud music and general sleep prevention at all hours of the night. - Packages stolen, vandalized, or opened and left on your doorstep. Management claims they contract a security service. In 13 months, I never saw any security vehicles or personnel in the parking lot. - Vague, passive aggressive emails about pool rules, nighttime noise, drug use, speeding in the parking lot… all the things that would take actual work to fix but an email is so much easier.

I called to get information and was lucky enough to get connected with Stacia. Her customer service was outstanding and she was able to get me in the next day to view the apartments that I inquired about. She was knowledgeable and personable and the tour was delightful! A definite asset to the office staff!

Great place to live if you want to get nickel and dimed on everything and like overpaying rent for units that are not worth the rate they charge. This place is in a great location but there’s so many things they could improve. Lived there for 3 years. Overall they made shotty repairs on maintenance calls, had dog poop all over the campus. They also had a handicap parking spot in front of building. During my time living there the sign for the handicap parking was fallen over and they never replaced it. So there wasn’t a handicap parking spot which I’m sure is not up to ADA standards or fair housing compliant. The trash valet service is a joke. Also we had paid a deposit whenever we moved in that we assumed would be a security deposit. Then on move out they nickel and dimed us for fees from moving out.

Mold has been developing rapidly under my sink since i moved in 2 months ago. Garbage disposal and dishwasher haven't worked in a month. Emailed called and requested service via rental app and only response was repair guy tried to call and since no one answered they closed the repair order. no message was left.

🫤 Customer service sucksssss!!!!! Yes they do have nice units and staff are friendly when you are there physically but they need to work on their communication. 😠 I promise you, going to Mac Properties, especially living at Westport Central, will be one of the worst decisions you’ll ever make. They don’t take care of or put any of the money towards their properties. All you have to do is walk into their offices to see. Then go see what their properties are RE...

😠 I have lived at this location since 2019 and I can say the last two years have been horrible. I have experienced a roach infestation and a rodent was present. 😠 The upgraded units are a joke. The vents and ducts work are rusting with a quick fix of painting them over to hide the rust. Door hinges are also covered in rust. The stove is old and crusty.
