Came for a stay-cation for a couple days with an indoor pool. Breakfast isn't where you would think and was good, but probably not $10 good. Didn't make it in to the bar and grill. Sunday evening, the area by the pool you would think would be for breakfast opened for $10 food baskets. The King Suite on the 2nd floor was a bit warm. We kept the window shades closed, lowered the temp and set the fan on high to keep it cool in the weird weather we've been having. The walk in shower was jaw dropping until we found only 3 of the 7 nozzles worked. Friendly staff and clean. We'll most likely be coming back.

We checked in for one night and no mention at check in that the hot water was out of service. I however was looking forward to a hot shower after driving 14 hours and feel it is unacceptable to not have a sanitary accommodation. When asking about the water I was just told to wait until they'd have it back on the next day and when mentioning that we were only staying for one night was told to check out early and go somewhere else. This was 7pm at night and was appalled at the rudeness due to an inconvenience at the hotels behalf. Along with other things, we had mold in our bathroom, broken tiles and the face towels had stains and looked like they had been run through the wash too many times and needed replacing. Most appliances like the microwave and coffee pot were un plugged because they weren't able to reach the outlet on the wall and some cords reached along the whole wall which seems unsafe if you have kids. Our first impression walking in to multiple buckets of water from the ceiling at the front door should have been a warning sign. They had breakfast being served the next morning and im worried about the Health code violations with no hot water for employees to wash their hands or sanitize anything. Not sure if other guest gave that a second thought. We were here on a business trip and when complaining to a member who lived in the area, they said this radisson was on their way out which would explain the lack of upkeep. Disappointing as we have had pleasant experiences with other radissons.

The Radisson brand used to stand for upmarket experience. This property completely misses the mark. Upon arrival I was greeted by a large motorcycle in the walk space between the only 2 handicapped parking spaces. It made opening my doors difficult and it blocked the curb cut for wheeling luggage up to the sidewalk. The area around the front door was filthy and as it was used by smokers but offered no ashtrays the ground was littered with butts and trash. The hallways are closed off by heavy fire doors which made access to the rooms difficult for one using a cane or walker. They collected a 25.00 deposit even though they had a credit card. When I tried to put breakfast on my room charges I was told they couldn’t do that. The hot tub and pool are above and below floor level requiring stairs to access. I can’t do stairs. This is not a handicapped friendly property. The decor is worn, dark and outdated and the amenities not up to Radisson levels. The staff tried to make up for weaknesses but the hotel is just too old and under managed.

This hotel was chosen due to the large group of player and their families that were attending the games. the hotel did a good job turning the motel into a hotel appearance. The first night the staff wonderfully accommodated us to change our room due to our neighbors. Once we woke up the next morning is when we notice some red crawling bugs. I let the front desk know and to this day still have yet received a call about the matter. Spent and additional $40 to wash and dry everything at high before returning home off the trip at a laundromat. I tried my best to my due diligence at 12:00 am by inspecting the room once we got in. Then I check for any evidence of infestation didn’t see any on the mattress, but I believe they came from underneath the bottom box spring or platform because of where they were found on the blankets and we notified the staff. Radisson now it is time for you to do your due diligence and exterminate the rooms. Also, with Covid and families that have children with breathing issues, it takes less than 5 minutes for you all to clean the vents in the heating and cooling system. I left them out so they could be cleaned.

The hotel its self was clean but a little older. Bar/Restaurant was nice but was closed on one of the nights we were there and then the following night the bar closed before 9PM. Not a great spot for hanging out with friends on a trip the rooms were to small to have everyone hanging out in one room but couldnt really do much in the lobby either as a small group of (5) adults in our group were chatting quietly in the lobby and were told to go to back to our rooms before 11PM.

Pay attention to the reviews! As others mentioned this hotel is old and ran down! As you arrive in the hotel lobby you will notice a musty smell. I assume it's from the indoor pool but it wasn't a pleasant smell. I was able to get checked in quickly and the gentleman that helped was very friendly. After arriving to my room I realized that I did not get the correct room that I had booked through a 3rd party. I went back up to the front desk and showed a lady my reservation description. She said that there was a "glitch" and that they did not have anymore of the room type available and that the rate I paid was for a regular king bedroom and not a king bedroom suite. I ended up calling the 3rd party booking site and they contacted the hotel and asked them to correct their listing and also gave me a courtesy refund. Room: This hotel is old! The bathroom is tiny! You have hardly any room to move around and have to climb over the toilet to get into the shower. Our door to our room was an original and would not shut on its own. You have to push really hard to get it to close. You could tell they have had to shave down the door over time. The thermostat in the room is just a dummy. It DOES NOT control the temperature. It was freezing and no matter how high you turned it, the temperature never changed. I ended up turning the fan off completely to try and warm up but it would automatically turn back on and run. Everything looked old and original except they tried to modernize it by adding new flooring. Pool: Had a green color and smelled awful. Atmosphere: The seating areas were a nice touch that we enjoyed. However there were a few situations that didn't make us feel comfortable. There was a domestic dispute the night we checked in and someone got arrested in the lobby. The next morning the police were outside the hotel again (not sure what happened). We stayed in the area due to a softball tournament. Our games got delayed so we gathered in the hotel lobby. The front end manager "Shawn" was less than pleasant. It was obvious that he did not enjoy having children stay at the hotel. As part of our party was leaving and out the door he was very condensending and loudly yelled "Thanks for staying, have a good day." It was obvious that he was being sarcastic! We will never stay here again!

After booking the hotel and THEN seeing the reviews, I was really scared. BUT. My experience was the exact opposite. For what you pay, it’s a pretty nice hotel. Check in was easy. Room was very clean and the AC was working just fine. The building does need a refresh as do the rooms but I was very comfortable!! My room was spacious. I’d stay here again!

Horrible experience. There was a man in the room that I had checked in to and left my bags when I came back later that night. Apparently he is a construction worker and they stayed in that room all week. They didn’t collect the keys from them or notify them that their room was changed. So when I got back around 10:30-11 I walked in the door to see men boxers, and a shaving kit in the bathroom. I took a few more steps and a man had got out of the bed looking confused. He had placed my luggage in the closet. He also said he told the front desk that there was luggage in the room and they didn’t care. When this originally happened that night no one knew what happened and how this man had a key to my room. They figured it out in the morning. They actually told me I could go back to the room. I had to tell them to put me in another room. They told me I could just check out. It was 11pm on a Saturday night and you want me to check out of a hotel? They kept down playing the situation like it wasn’t a big deal. The hotel itself was nice. The room was nice. But due to this situation I wouldn’t recommend them.

“Think about where you are” was the saying that was prevalent at an old job of mine. For the price I paid to pull over and sleep for the night, I am extremely happy. The hot water is VERY hot, the roof is water tight, the bed is soft and clean, the gentleman at the front desk was very nice. Sure, it’s a hotel that is getting on in years, but for the price I am EXTREMELY happy. You’re at the Radisson, not the Ritz. PS, I interned at the Ritz, worth the price but you ain’t sleeping there for what I paid to sleep here. Calm down, have a good time, enjoy life!

The walls are paper thin you can hear everything in the next room tv voices all that, so you have to turn up your tv to hear over the neighbors tv or children or what have you, I had it all. One trash can in the bathroom annoying, the door touches the toilet when it is open, the hotel smells like old house with bad mildew carpet, they did have a lot of channels, oh you can get breakfast for an extra 12 dollars, the beds are super comfortable pillows are trash, it was clean, I waited at the front desk for 5 min then picked up the house phone I told the guy on the other line I’m trying to check in he said well all you have to do is come to the front desk I’m at the front desk (smartly he said this with an attitude) he came out of his office and seen me there you could tell he was like a dear caught in headlights saying, “oh they put a phone right there AGAIN” yes they did. I didn’t like the hotel maybe others will but I was only staying one day

So if check in is at 3pm, have both the people standing at the desk check in, it was a 45 min process. It was literally a line of rednecks, 1 with an open carry pistol and 40 kids waiting to jump in the pool. 2nd floor hallway around 238 241 stink like cigarettes, not for the asthmatics. The rooms feel big because they're pretty empty. We'll skip this place next time.

Upon arrival the hotel was very nice. The price for 1 night stay was pretty expensive and I expected more. The check in process was slow. They people at the front desk didn’t really act like they knew what they were doing. A couple of us went to the bar for a drink and some food around 830 and the service was horrible. The bartender walked passed us multiple times without asking us if we needed or wanted anything. We waiting 30 minutes and finally he can over after we called him to us. Ordered drinks and food then waiting another 20 minutes and he came back to tell us the cook wasn’t making anymore food. Sign said it was open until 10. The rooms were small and needed tlc. The heater was missing a button and the shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall. I was across from the pool and quiet hours were supposed to be at 10. People didn’t leave the pool area until 1030. Overall I was not impressed with this hotel. If you’re gonna spend the money go somewhere else.

This hotel is getting tired. Carpets in common areas were dirty. (But it was nice there was laminate in the rooms.) Paint peeling lots of places. Breakfast buffet - meh - and just warm. Also we were cold the first night and turned up the thermostat. There was not an extra blanket. Still cold in the morning, clearly heat not on (we'd set it to 76!). Told the front desk in the morning and was informed that due to a heat wave the prior week, the heat was turned OFF. They could have told us that when we checked in, so we could see if the room would be comfortable as it was. The next night they gave us a space heater to use. Staff were all pleasant, though.

This is a one-star hotel with a nice lobby. I am speaking as a former housekeeper at a prominent 4-star hotel, and someone who seeks out wide ranges of travel accommodations to this day. The room, while comfortable enough, is awkward. There is a lack of outlets. You must unplug the fridge to plug in the coffee maker. And the bathroom is so small you have to wedge yourself against the toilet to close the door. Everything in the rooms feels old and grungy. Even the beds have old sheets and exposed box springs. The staff here is tragically undertrained. It is no fault of the staff - it instead speaks poorly of management. Our reservation was lost, and the man at the front desk was confused. He clicked buttons and asked repetitive nonsense questions, as if I was going to magically fix the computer system by showing him the confirmation code for the 16th time. I booked directly through the Radisson website, and it felt like the man kept trying to turn it around on me as to why he didn’t see the reservation. He was neither reassuring nor apologetic for the inconvenience. He rebooked us, though I’ll need to check that we weren’t double charged for the room. The interactions with staff at breakfast were awkward too. The website touted complimentary breakfast, but that was a lie. I’m letting you know here so you can avoid the cranky woman guarding the buffet and paying $11/person for bad eggs. If you are to work in hospitality, you need training and people skills. From what we experienced, this hotel puts no thoughtfulness, consideration, or value in their hotel or their employees.

First off let's talk about how the hotel gives two types of Atmospheres. When u first walk in its all Nice the rooms at the front are nice looking. The room we actually got was secluded way in the back of the hotel giving a whole other vibe. Carpet is old, smelled funny, doors old. We had to trade rooms 2x because of NO WATER. Then finally after settling in our 3rd room, Someone else tried to come into our room. Jiggly the door handle. They were given the same room number as us. Not to mention when we first got there All of these kids were running around outside of the conference hall with no supervision. Also kids running back and forth from the hot tub to the pool and pool to the hot tub, throwing towels at each other. The nice rooms in the front aren't even advertised on the website. The bar and grill closed early! So then when we were getting our stuff together to check out. It was FIRE ANTS in the bathroom and on our towels! I WAS LIKE LET'S GO NOW! That was one of my worst experiences. I will NOT be back. Please...and Thank you! My fiance will be writing his own review as well.

Very unlikely to stay again. Staff was mostly pretty accommodating. It was stated in my booking policy that the breakfast would be included in the price but it indeed was not and we decided to eat breakfast there under the impression that it was complimentary then got charged just under $10 per person for a very mediocre hotel breakfast. And the front desk staff did offer a voucher for a free meal but we were leaving so it was of no use so I did not accept it. The room was extremely warm. We set the thermostat to as low as it would go and it continued to just blow warm air. The front desk provided me with a box fan but that only could help so much. And lastly, the gap underneath the room door that leads to the hall is extremely big. I could fit my hand underneath it. I could hear every room door and hall door open along with the ice machine on our floor. Along with the smell of weed from rooms adjacent to ours. It was extremely unsatisfactory. And I will not be staying at this hotel again.

This hotel is a complete catfish! The pictures on their website make it look so nice and modern! When in reality it’s not. Do not stay here! We booked our rooms through a third party site and I paid for a suite. I got there and they gave me a regular room which was horrible. There were doors Inside the room connecting you to the people staying in the room right next to you! We could hear everything this family was doing through the thin walls and the door being there. We complained about not getting the room we ordered and all the guy could do was give us a free breakfast, like really?! Also the pool is closed over the weekend, which makes no sense considering high travel. I guess it was a good thing though since the water was literally green… It’s a very out dated place and we definitely will not be coming back here again!

Rooms were dirty. There was molds in the bathroom and on the ceiling. There were stained white bed linens on the bed. I barely checked in and had a asked for a refund because the place was so dirty and the pool water was so murky, the hotel manager Shawn didn’t even bother to answer until he clocked out for the day. My family and I felt unsafe. There were people walking around opening gas tanks in the parking lot. When I mentioned this problem, they didn’t offer any resolution for comfort of any kind. As I walked into my hotel room, there were beer bottles laying on the side of he hallways. When I had called the front desk to tell them that there’s beer bottles thrown everywhere in the hall way by my room, they said they will let the manager know in the morning and that he couldn’t do anything about it. What poor service! My family and I slept there that night and left early in the morning around 6am for we weren’t going to be getting a refund or even a room changed. We drove somewhere and slept in the car for a few hours before heading out to our next destination because the felt unsafe and the room was unsanitary. Don’t let the nice sheets and headboard fool you. This is probably the worst place I ever stayed at. I would rather book at motel 8. Low standard and horrible customer service. Front desk Staff told me when I checked in that someone had stay at the hotel and made $900 worth of damaged to the room and the police will not come and make a police report. He suggested that I can do whatever I want to the rooms and I will not get penalized for it. This completely made my family I fell unsafe. Management, please do better and tend to your customers concern before clocking out for the day please.

My wife and I were happy with nearly everything about the room. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the bathroom sink faucet had very low water pressure. It wasn't enough to demand a different room, though. We notified the front desk about it when checking out. Everything was very clean, including the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Checkin and checkout went smoothly. We would stay there again.

The room was clean and comfy. I didn't get the chance to swim but it was cool that's its inside the center of the hotel, was clean! I did get to enjoy the lounge area and breakfast was very good, service was friendly! Overall 10/10 will recommend and stay again!

I recently stayed at this location, and would definitely recommend it! My time here was very enjoyable – the rooms were large and very clean, the beds and linens were super-comfy, and breakfast was AMAZING! The front desk even gave me toothpaste when I mentioned that I apparently forgot to pack mine! Two employees in particular – Sean Moore and Kaitlyn (I didn’t get her last name) – were super-helpful. Plenty of hotels offer a great room, but the staff members can make all the difference in a guest's experience (for better or worse.) Although everyone at this location was nice, these two truly went out of their way to ensure that I enjoyed my stay. To be fair in my review, I do have to mention the negatives, no matter how small they were. There were absolutely no problems with my room, and the hotel in general seemed clean and well taken care of – but the hot tub was not very hot (which I think could be an easy fix?) and the exercise room could use a little work. However, I don’t want to dwell on those issues, as they truly were quite minor when compared with my overall experience. Thank you again to Sean and Kaitlyn – I hope to see you both the next time I am in the Kansas City area, as I will make it a point to stay at the Radisson Lenexa!

Hotel is a mish-mash of good and bad. Parts of rooms feel updated but the overall atmosphere of the hotel feels outdated. Lobby is enormous and there is a nice pool and hot tub with open atmosphere. Lots of tables and seating in lobby area. Odd smell throughout the hotel and carpet portions look bad. Breakfast prices for kids are way too high. ($8) No dining places within walking distances. Staff friendliness is average. Ample parking. Getting to hotel while driving west on 95th is extremely confusing (exit goes in the opposite direction from hotel and then veers back towards it using an under pass)

The location of this hotel is excellent for the work I am performing in town. The overall stay has been very good. What has made my stays at this location exceptional are the professional and polite service Kaitlynn has provided at the front desk. If I have any issues that need resolved I try to wait until I see her smiling face at the desk. If not for the service she has provided I may be inclined to look for another location. The management should strive to have all the staff be as professional as Kaitlynn.

This hotel's lobby is huge and I really like how it looks. It also has an indoor hot tub and pool area. For the rooms I would say I really enjoyed it other than the bed because it was a bit too firm. The Jacuzzi tub though was very nice, and I have never been in one where the bubbles come out of the bottom of the tub through tiny little holes while most Jacuzzi tubs have the jets on the side. Our rooms seating area was also very large, and the room had two tvs in it. The room also included a fridge and microwave which both came in handy. Overall I would say I had a good experience. Now for the breakfast buffet it was much better than other hotels I have been to. Definitely recommend it.

Hosted a big wedding in there amazing ballroom and the staff and space was amazing! They catered to our needs as well as the guests need all week. Couldn't have asked for a better location as well with it being right off of the highway. Wonderful lobby and swimming pool as well. Daily fresh breakfast was spectacular.

Just wanted to make sure that i acknowledged and showed profound appreciation to the staff of Radisson Hotel Lenexa Overland Park, from the front desk associates Arwa, Shawn G (Manager), Steve, Kaitlynn & Richard, who, throughout my entire stay, were all nothing but friendly, helpful, and courteous, even when I would have numerous reservations, they always were professional and would go out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, and then some, by educating me on benefits I didn’t know I had, or just overall keeping me in the know on any and everything related to my stay.! Probably the best front desk staff I’ve ever encountered really.! But I cannot forget the other factions of the hotel, being the breakfast staff led by Sonni, who is one of the kindest people ever. Made sure I was well taken care of, every morning, as well as the cook, who I never received her name, but she was really sweet.! And I can’t forget about ALL the housekeeping crew, who I had the pleasure of engaging with all of them, and they ALL were so nice and willing to help and provide everything from toiletries, to soap, to towels. You name it, they were on it and always did it with a smile. Very nice group of ladies, as well as the few gentlemen who dealt with linens and trash, they were also very friendly and nice.! Overall staff wise as well as stay wise, I was extremely satisfied, and felt I really needed to acknowledge you all for your wonderful hospitality, (and I apologize to the ones, whom names I didn’t receive) but do know you are greatly appreciated.! I really hope this review gives you all some recognition by the owners, because you all deserve it. And if I don’t get a chance to see you all again, I just really wanted to thank you all truly.! I really appreciated everything.!

The staff was rude the whole time we stayed there. My son lost his iPhone in the room we were staying in and we alerted the hotel that it was lost and ask them to look for it which they didn’t. Then about a month later we got a call from some guy saying that one of the maids sold him my son’s iPhone and he would be mailing it back but it never came. My son has special needs and requires a phone when he’s not home so we can make sure he is okay. The hotel manager did not look into the situation or gave 2 craps about it. I will never be staying there again because of the criminal acts of the housekeeping and things being overlooked. I want to give zero stars because it sucks to have to buy another phone for our son.

Absolutely not. I will never stay here again. When I walked in the hotel, it immediately smelled like wet old mop. You could tell the attempted renovations were done but done cheaply, one of the elevators was out of service. The bar and grill restaurant was closed for service, and there was no room service option. My room, while it was big, only had a the bed and one single chair for seating. There was paint peeling off of the walls, and the walls are very thin. The towels in the bathroom were thin and hard, and extremely small. The bathtub faucet dripped all night. I had to go down to the front desk for plasticware in which, the lady at the front desk reached down and handed me an open fork with her bare hands from out of a box. No napkins or other utensils were available. I guess she had them in a box underneath the counter. Not very hygienic.

This Hotel was very nice. I stayed there multiple nights while my son was in the hospital. They were professional and took care of everything we needed. They had a Big delicious Breakfast, a pool, a hot tub and a Bar. The rooms were nice and we had them cleaned by the Hotel. Thank you very much.

You get what you pay for. The kids liked the pool. Booked two rooms. One of the rooms smelled like smoke so we had to change rooms. The second room toilet quit flushing so we had to change rooms at 10:45 because they didn't have a plunger ?!

Booked 2 Queen Bed room on 4/28/23 for one night Mothers Day Weekend 5/13/23 just one night. Rec an email confirmation showing my confirmation number and it says you are guaranteed for late arrival. We arrived 10 pm only to find out they rented out our room. Desk clerk offered king suite with fold out couch and reluctantly I agreed. We get to the room and it’s a Queen with fold out couch. Floors were dirty, we had to call front desk for 2nd pillow and pillowcase. Mgr was supposed to be there in the morning for complaint to be made, he was not so I made a written complaint. They obviously overbooked and I will never stay at a Radisson again! If you make a reservation, don’t expect them keeping your room! One word of advice, stay somewhere that cares about you and your business and will honor your room requests. No price concessions were offered for accepting less than what I expected. Update: I received an email at 10pm tonight, Wednesday, May 17. I see management put my complaint first thing on his to do list. I guess I should be glad he answered at all. He’s very sorry my concerns I shared and my experience at this hotel. We hope that upon my next visit they can exceed my expectations. I wouldn’t stay there again if they paid me to come!!

It was not bad but it looks very dated. The floors were bubbling, like they had a flood, and it smelled bad. The bar and grill was closed, even though the website said otherwise. Breakfast was not very good and it is not complimentary. Hot tub was good and hot but the pool was a green color.

It's a Radisson, need I really say more? The guest services are outstanding, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, the room was nice and quiet as well as being very large. I've had very good experiences with the Radisson and will make the Radisson my preferred choice.

I would not recommend this hotel to a family or holding an event there. It's definitely better than a motel 6 but they need to update the hotel and train their staff on customer service and efficiently solving issues. The event room had dead bugs and food on the floor, looked like they hadn't swept in a week. It has an old smell to it and the air doesn't work half the time. For as much as I paid, I could have gotten better quality at a Motel 6 and that's sad to say. An employee told me the owners don't care for the hotel and how it's such an old building. If you care more about making money than fixing your hotel go into another business, because this hotel has a lot of lawsuits waiting to happen.

Make your reservation 5-6 days in advance and don't even get the right room because of a trucker convention. So instead of the king room for the stay to enjoy a nice quiet evening before my appointment at the hospital we get a room with double beds. Couldn't cancel at desk because we prepaid and due to cancelation notice. Because I would of went somewhere else. Room is designed weird with a front door and back door. So honestly won't sleep well with having to worry about two doors. Just not happy and haven't even gone to sleep. Won't stay again.

Pulled in mid-day on a Thursday and parking lot was full of questionable patrons. As solo traveler, I definitely took notice. I parked and watched as the person in the car next to me reached out the window to open the door from the outside. I happened to look down and noticed the ankle monitor he was wearing as he pet his dog in the back seat, waiting for a female to come out of the hotel. I watched as families came in/out of the hotel across the street. I went there. My reservation was non-refundable so I had to pay for both hotels but well worth it. I'm originally from this area and know it's not the area that is the problem, it's this hotel. It went through a revamp a few years back so I had hopes it had changed but clearly I was wrong and paid greatly for it. Clerk at the other hotel said they get business from this Raddisson all the time once people arrive. Do not waste your money/safety.

The air conditioner was hardly working. Paint was chipping off of the walls. The pillows were horrid! Had to use FOUR to get comfortable. The bathroom had no exhaust in it. Water pressure in the sinks and shower was a trickle, took forever to rinse soap off. The pool was cloudy, and is in need of serious attention. My daughter smelled like mildewed towels when she got out… breakfast was not complimentary.

The air conditioner in my room didn't work,,, they said they are still changing thing over from the boiler from winter.(The front desk guy did bring me a fan) But, It was like 80 degrees in my room and I like sleeping in the cool. The bed is not very comfortable and it's $9 for a continental breakfast??? The only thing I really liked was the jacuzzi tub in the sweet was pretty nice and had plenty of hot water.

I booked online through the work discount benefit that I have. In our reservation, it was reserved for a king with a balcony with a rain shower bathroom. They put us on the side that had no balcony and looks like they were remodeling. I was not happy to call the front desk, and that was worked out with no problems. Then in the new room was freezing!!!! It was in the '40s. Tried turning the heat just made it worse! Call front desk and the lady said there was no heat!!! I was so disappointed in our stay. I think the staff could have been nicer. The cleaning was somewhat okay. Will not stay there again.
