The facility was very clean. The tables were spread out far enough that you could social distance yourself. They had their roll up windows up. So there was a nice breeze coming in. Their patio was full. They had a taco truck where you could get food. The beer was flavorful! Their IPA's were not over hoppy and Incredibly smooth.we tried 4 different beers from their board. Neither of us had any complaints. The color if their beer was beautiful! To our surprise they actually had a seltzer on tap!๐Ÿ˜ƒ Great place to enjoy a sports game and drink beer.

I really enjoyed their Knuckle Duster IPA! Tanner, the owner, seems like really awesome guy. I got a flat tire and pulled into their parking lot while I waited for a tow truck driver. He gave me the Knuckle Duster IPA, and a good conversation to pass the time. I appreciate customer service like that. It's really hard to find good old boys nowadays. I'll be stopping in to give them my business in the future. I would highly recommend Pathlight Brewing.

Great spot for this part of town. The brewer was there and easy to talk to. They had 10 brews on tap to try. Some canned offerings to take home. Lots of staff that were friends and wanted to talk about their brews. There was a food truck outside offering fried empanadas. Clean open space. Highly recommend. They didn't have anything tonight for those that might want something higher ABV or a stout. Mostly sours, IPA, kolche, and lager. But their styles will be different every night you come. The brewer was excited to talk about upcoming collaboration with bigger brewery

It's always so good the beers are fantastic and I love their wild foeder program they have going on. Fun space, amazing patio. I enjoy the vast amounts of food trucks/pop up events they have. Today was Wolfpack bbq had the pulled pork sandwich and potato salad so tasty with a moo-latte

God willing, no one, but still everyone, in KC finds a little slice of home here. The beer selection is top tier, but the family that exists with the staff and regulars makes this spot that much better. A rare gem to find outside of the direct KC Metro.

Halfway decent beer. People that go there over an hour before start of an event, reserve entire tables they donโ€™t even half way use and render the place to standing room only when itโ€™s half full. So if you want to go stand around with a not worth it beer, hereโ€™s your place. In response to the ownerโ€™s comments of โ€œsharingโ€ and โ€œfriendlyโ€ F1 fans, I can absolutely testify that is a flat lie. That group of people were in no way friendly and even rude to the idea of talking to anyone outside their friend groups. They were not shy with an air of being burdened by the presence of other people.

Good beer, dimly lit, so it's difficult to play the games they provide. What brewery doesn't do flights? Bathrooms are clean. Staff took a few minutes to greet us at the bar. The seating area is very wide open and echoes, so it's difficult to hold a conversation even with a light crowd. They also had Harry Potter playing on all the TVs, which is a bit odd, not what you'd expect when you go to a brewery. It was not the best of experiences, but it was also not terrible.

This place cranks out top notch beers on a consistent basis. Want the best example of a particular style of beer? Yep they have it. Awesome place and super glad they opened in Johnson county. Always friendly staff too!

Fantastic space with lots of beer options! Easily top 5 for beer in KC. Space is nice and open with an outdoor patio. Would really like for tasting notes under each beer on the menu. Love the variety but need more info!

Breweries in shopping centers are always a little eh in my book.. This space was decent however. Lots of room with a patio. The beertender was cool..suoer chatty and fun. IPAs were pretty legit. Only complaint is that after leaving and checking my receipt online..I was charged for all full pours vs the half pours we actually had. Disappointing, hopefully just a one time oversight and not a norm.

This place has all the ambience of a public urinal. I went on a very slow evening shortly after they opened. The owners were there and they didn't even greet me with a "How are you?, Thanks for coming in, what kind of beer do you like?" I've never worked in customer service but I could do better than that! I guess they have thought I should be grateful to come through their doors. Wrong!

Such a unique place, the way wine influences their beer sets them apart from any other brewery in the kansas city area. If you like breweries and have a wine sensibility you should prioritize Pathlight.

Normally Iโ€™d have nothing but the best things to say about this place because the staff is so friendly, warm, welcoming, and they treat you like an actual person instead of just another customer. Now that theyโ€™re doing a test run in a different direction due to a new investor bringing in Jabroniโ€™s that work exclusively in cocktail bars, itโ€™s not the same brewery.

Nice and airy brewery! Fairly family friendly with decent parking. The patio is also nice and shaded. We liked most of the beers, and they also have some canned wine and a few non-alcoholic options too!

This is one of the best breweries in KC if you ask me.. and you're here reading my review, so in a way you did! The beer is fantastic and there's always a good selection of different styles to hit whatever you're in the mood for. For me, it's hazy IPAs and man does Pathlight do those well. They often have food trucks available and if not, they partner with Marco's Pizza right next door if you're hungry. The staff is great, too; friendly and fun to chat with. I'm super introverted and generally hate making small talk with bartenders, but not here. The place is always clean and well represented. This is my brewery of choice every time. And it's 20 minutes from my house. I don't care. It's worth the 40 minute round trip drive. Visit Pathlight. You won't regret it.

Nestled in the Trailridge Shopping Center, Pathlight Brewing in Shawnee is a hidden gem that beer enthusiasts shouldn't miss in the Kansas City area. The awards and friendly staff and the brewery's inviting atmosphere and outdoor seating provide a modern backdrop for a great time with loved ones. One of the brewery's standout features is its impressive beer selection. With a diverse array of beers on tap, even those who aren't avid sour fans will find themselves pleasantly surprised by the balanced flavors of their sours. The option of half sizes allows patrons to explore a variety of brews without committing to a full pint. Definitely loved the names revolving around formula one racing. A notable draw at Pathlight Brewing is their highly attended F1 watch parties. Whether or not you're an F1 follower, the excitement of race day combined with the lively atmosphere of a packed brewery, complete with two big projectors and TVs behind the bar, promises an engaging and fun-filled experience. Additionally, the presence of a food truck on weekends, a pizza place, and an expansive patio seating area with outdoor TVs ensures that there's never a dull moment. Engaging in fun games with friends adds an extra layer of entertainment to the visit. Pathlight Brewing is undoubtedly a must-visit destination for those seeking quality brews, a vibrant atmosphere, and an exceptional time with friends and family.

Neat place with their beer w/ a bar and some n/a options. Very clean and had a friendly knowledgeable staff, lots of space and games to play while you hang for a while.

Nice place in a strip shopping mall. Really chill inside, not crowded, modern style. Awesome selection of libations. I'm a light beer/pilsner fan and their helles lager hit the spot.

They have a great selection of beers on tap, with something for everyone. Even if you're not a huge fan of sours, you'll still enjoy their sours, as they are never too sour. This has become one of my favorite breweries in KC Kansas side/area. I probably like as many beers here as I like at Boulevard Brewing. Makes me wonder how many beers I would like if Pathlight actually had the capacity to brew as many as Boulevard. Makes a guy think. LOL!

Tasty brews! Good variety of well made beer. Brewtender was friendly and the space is clean and modern. I bet the garage doors are great when it's not 100% humidity!

Nice open place with plenty of seats and a good patio. Good beers. Heavy on the IPA's though, which was good for me. Staff was friendly and accommodating of our big crowd. Wish I got a chance to try the snacks or the bbq catering nearby.

The person tending the place during my visit was really nice and informative. The place could use some tasting notes or brief style descriptions to go with their beers up on the menu (didn't have it when I was there), as it feels like a nuisance having to ask the bartender to explain every item verbally. Some customers would rather read a brief description first, then ask for more info if needed. Tried a beer that was aged in a wine barrel. It was tasty. They offer half pours but no flights. I really wish more places offered flights. It's fun and trendy and it's the upsell right under your noses, even if you have to fluctuate the price based on the choices. Usually a sampler helps me find what I like and gets me coming back while just picking single beers (even individual half pours) can sometimes leave me with a first impression and just feeling like okay that's all for now and then I head on out the door with whatever that first impression was. I know I could've just ordered four half-pours or something, but it didn't seem like they had smaller glasses for all of them, or caddies for them, so I didn't bother. It's nice to compare beers side-by-side, especially if you've got a bevy of IPAs to choose from. For better or for worse, the menu was mostly IPAs and fruited or wine-barreled beers with a few other options on hand.
