Keystone Campground has a direct view of the lake from almost all of the sites! The bathrooms and showers are private which is the safest I’ve felt!! We had a great time camping and will return next time we’re visiting family in Oklahoma.

Labor day weekend with friends and family. Great cabin, water was not to choppy, great food on both of the marina, views were amazing.

The park is very peaceful and well maintained. The staff and rangers were nice and super helpful. We did some hiking and swimming with the kids and it was pretty quiet and calm. We stayed at a cabin, it was generally clean, except for the coffee maker. If you stay at a cabin, make sure to bring utensils, cooking ware, and dish soap because the kitchenette doesn’t have any of those things.

Our cabin is really nice. Great views of the Keystone lake. It has a jacuzzi tub. The cabin is called Paradise. Pier 51 is right around the corner, they have a place to eat and boat rentals. there was great trails to get to the water behind the cabin was a trail to a really nice sandy beach cove area. The only gripe I have is when I made the reservation I was not told that there's no dishes in the cabin there's no silverware in the cabin there's no tea towels in the kitchen nothing. I know this is probably because of Covid-19 but you could have told me when I made the reservation or even checked in so I could be prepared for that and you had three occasions to do so and never did.

We went for a friend’s wedding and stayed at a cabin. It was a wonderful experience! There is a “general store” right as you come into the park and that’s where you check in and get your keys. They have a few essentials like water, soda, pantry item etc. They also have souvenirs like cups, hats- stuff like that. The 2 ladies that were there were phenomenal. They were so friendly and helpful! The cabin was perfect for what we needed it for. It was very clean (thank goodness) and had nice accommodations. We only stayed 2 nights, but we will definitely come back for a longer visit. Highly recommend if you want to getaway and unplug, but still appreciate a walmart/food places about 10 mins away.

Very nice campground. The lake is beautiful. Off road park near by. Boat rental near by. Lots of primitive camping. Our 38 foot motor home fit great in most spots with full hook ups

Keystone State Park is one of our favorite camping places. There are plenty of spots for RVs and tents and you can see the water from most. The restrooms and showers were totally replaced about 2 years ago and there are 4 of each in both of the main campgrounds. Each restroom and each shower are totally private and can be locked so you don't have to be concerned about someone coming and using the restroom while you're in the shower. Green Country campground has a marina with boat rentals and a restaurant on the water. All three campgrounds have a playground, and Lake Country campground has a swimming area. In addition, there are a couple of easy hiking trails in the park. One will take you to the park office, which also serves as a little convenience store. All of the state parks should have this. Keystone isn't as clear as some of the lakes in eastern Oklahoma, but it's not bad. And it's a lot nicer than the ones on the western side.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! We rented a cabin for 4 days after the 4th of July and it was SO peaceful! I was SUPER impressed with the staff. Every person we dealt with took the time to make sure we were satisfied with our stay! We will definitely be going back!!

I cannot say enough good things about my stay in the cabins and the staff that work hard in the office and cleaning crew. The cabin was clean and well stocked with towels and soaps. The area is quiet and wildlife is abundant. My dogs were welcome and it was definitely a positive experience. I’ll recommend this place and stay here whenever I get the chance. The staff in the office are knowledgeable, understanding and compassionate, they keep communication open in case you need it and I could not thank them enough for all their help.

A nice getaway for family and friends with RVs needing some nature therapy. There are several RV spots with power and water, and each site allows for a tent as well. Depending on availability, you have sites near or further away from the lake/boat ramp. Each RV site also has a picnic table, firepit and charcoal grill. There are cabins for rental if you needed some creature comforts while still being near to trails or lake activities like fishing ot canoeing. The (warm/hot) shower and toilet facilities are new and kept clean. No fighting or waiting to use your RV shower/toilet.

Great park with beautiful views and nice trails! The trails were clean but they could use some better markings. Definitely a “hidden gem” for hiking near Tulsa.

Nice State Park. The restrooms are clean and well stocked. Some of the RV sites are really packed in tight. The fishing is good, though there's several other lakes within an hour drive with better fishing. There isn't much in the way of trails, or hiking, but the Keystone Ancient Forest nearby is a good place for that. All in all, this is a nice little place and I'd recommend it.

Excellent park for 4 wheelers. Not enough water being released currently for any kayaking on the river side.

The grass was so high went and bought a weed eater to knock the grass down. Then there was a wicked deracho that came in at midnight. Trees down everywhere

These cabins have been my escape during this pandemic. My boyfriend and I have rented cabin 4 times and camped 2 times in the last year. Both experiences have been pleasant, the cabins are always very clean and well maintained. This Christmas we take our children to the 3 bedroom cabin and the space is incredible, the terrace is huge with a view of the lake, it is fabulous!

We came to Keystone and was impressed that there was a park and a swimming area, it looked extremely fun. We did end up leaving and going to a different part of Keystone due to it being extremely crowded. We went to the Overlook and it was gorgeous. We set up a picnic and watched the fireworks! I can't wait to go back.

We went here in early October. We did not swim but there was a beach. Clean bathrooms with hot water and AC. You can hear a train off and on but not too bad. Close to some ORV trails that my husband thought were great. Cell service was good with Verizon.

Definitely better than it used to be. They have made several updates to the park including newer playground equipment, resurfaced the roads, new restroom and shower facilities ect ect. Just wish the lake wasn't so damn dirty.

Very nice state park with campground near the lake. Inexpensive at $27 a night for full hookups. Bathroom and showers could be kept cleaner. Shower has curtain but no door. 2 showers with 3/4 wall between them lacks privacy.

My favorite place in all of Oklahoma! Lake country is amazing. It's handicap accessible and very clean. The tent areas always have an area perfect for a tent - smooth and flat. If I could live here, I would!

Went to spend some time on a boat rental from Pier 51. Staff was great. Lake was pretty empty but it was late in the season. One of the better lakes to go to for sure.

Camping at it's almost finest. But it's relaxing and enjoyable. The music from the club across the water is great too. This is 18. Uphill is the restroom and playground. Below is the water . Everything you need.

Showers and restrooms are clean. Lake is pretty, and most campsites have good views. Well worth a visit, especially for boating. Very convenient boat ramp. I stayed in a very small trailer in the Lake Country section of the park. Campsites were close together with little to no privacy or shade in this area, so if the are concerns you may want to look at other camping areas in the park. Tent camping area there was shady and seemed nice. There is a playground for children.

Very nice Park to take your family and that's just what we did we picked one of the many available picnic tables It was near the edge of the lake we enjoyed fishing and swimming and grilling they had a couple of shops where you could get clothes snacks fishing bait and supplies souvenirs your fishing license and parking passes and other items my family caught quite a bit and variety of fish the grandchildren really enjoy themselves especially swimming overall we had a great time and we'll be back soon

It was cool hiking trails on the main paths but the long path and canyon paths that aren't used as much were a little grown up and blocked with branches from recent storms. Of course, I found poison ivy! But it was good great hike!

  • 1/5 Rebecca A. 10 months ago on Google
Definitely will not be going back. Flies were HORRIBLE! WE spent over 35.00 in fly bags and probably killed 30-40 thousand outside and that didn't include what got in the door when having to open. The grass had not been mowed 2 weeks per other campers that we met while setting up for our 12 day stay. Now shelter areas and tent areas were mowed and drive into park was mowed on sides but not RV hookup sights. We will be leaving tomorrow and they are just mowing. Another guest had also put fish guts in trash cans but they didn't have them replaced with cleaner ones at least. I have several pictures but no where to post. To stay the least don't think this is a place to come back to😥 We were told they had 700 acres to maintain not sure how Sequoyah State Park does such an amazing job and have more to deal with. I will say that the Pier 1 marina restaurant staff is amazing and kind and the food is also yummy.

Family friendly and not far from all amenities. Sand Springs is only 15 minutes away. Grounds are very well kept, bathrooms and showers are clean. Park staff at the front desk were very helpful and pleasant. Main roads to camping areas are wide and well maintained. Good location for biking and walking the trails. The only negative I saw were the roads in certain camping loops needing attention.

Fell in love with the views from post oak campground. Has two small trails inside if you are in the mood for morning jobs or walks. The campground was clean and very less crowd. The RV park was crowded on the other hand. The restrooms were decent. We got to spot Lot of deers running around at night. The shelters areas had group picnic spots which had a good shaded area where you can hangout and cook if you are just in the park for the day. Lot of people had come in to fish and kayak that Sunday evening

  • 5/5 Sheryl P. 3 years ago on Google
Such a great place! The lake bottom is made of dark clay and rocks, so it isn't clear, but it is clean. With goggles, you can see your hand no more than a foot and a half in front of you. The picnic areas are covered in cigarette butts, but there are some trees, a lot of charcoal grills, and plenty of people were fishing.

Camped for just one night in December. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in process was easy. Nice site with view of lake! Cons (admittedly things that might have been stated, but we did not realize): 1. There is only 50 amp on the power pole, but we fortunately had a 50-30 converter with us. 2. The bathhouse was padlocked at some point in the night, so no overnight bathroom trips. Overall, a great stay for the one night we needed. Would gladly stay longer next time we are nearby!

What a wonderful place! My husband & I like to get away on the weekends sometimes and we chose Cabin 9 at Keystone State Park this time. We walked the water line, hiked the trails, sat by the fireplace and just absolutely enjoyed the peacefulness that surrounded us. Its not fancy but it has everything you need. We will stay here again for sure. Just a note to be aware of while Covid is still out there. There are no utensils, dinnerware, cookware. They do provide towels, sheets and those types of linens.

  • 5/5 Tammy S. 3 years ago on Google

The park is in great condition for tent camping. Clean heated restrooms with hot showers. Pretty disappointed the only way to pay for a camping spot is online and it's not the most user friendly. I recommend paying before you arrive. 2 parking passes are included with the 17 dollar a day tent camping fee however the usual parking fee is ten dollars a day per car...

Keystone is one of my favorite lakes. There are plenty of sand beaches for the kiddos. Keystone state park has plenty of nice RV spots. Updated playground equipment, nice oublic restrooms, and a couple of really nice marinas to enjoy a drink or grab a bite to eat. Highly recommend.

The green country campground has some real shady sites. Also a nice playground in view from most sites. 30 & 50 amp sites with sewer even though the website doesn't specify they have sewer connections. Down side is the sewer connection stands so high up off the ground that it makes dumping and flushing your tanks difficult. They really need to be lowered to ground level. It's kinda ridiculous. The pic is me neighbors sewer, I'm using a sewer ladder and it's still terribly high. The hight of the sewer lost a star for me. Also the road leading through the park is really rough. That costs this park another star for me.

It's an ok place to go during the winter. But they lock the doors to the bathroom at night and I couldn't use it til 7 am. I start my day at 4 am. Other than that it's kinda cool to walk the campgrounds that are closed during the winter.

  • 5/5 Holly J. 3 years ago on Google
The cabins are clean. We enjoy having our family reunion here. We have been having our family reunions here for over 10 years. We decided last year to reserve several of the 2 bedroom cabins and the area is perfect for our family to gather. The ladies in the office/store are very polite. We look forward to many more reunions here.
