Racially abused by an Asian lady called Mary. When asked if they have an allergies list and what type of flour is used in the chicken wings she lost her patience and abused me in my own language and insulted my country of origin. Will be making an official complaint

Been coming here for years. Regular customers. But unfortunately it has recently gone extremely down hill. All our chicken from our order tonight was raw and pink, bit into it and could instantly tell. Such a shame as it was our family treat.

As usual the food tasted great and the service was fast but the gravy in a pot that came with the chicken tasted strange and had to throw away. The disabled toilets were out of service and it was the same a few days earlier! The other male toilets smelled foul and with no neutral smell I spite of that there was no one in the cubicles. The urinals smelled foul the same. Floor was a bit sticky as well. Why don’t they use disinfectant? One of the taps in the hand basin was leaking too.

Ordered for the family tonight and it arrived to find out we've got raw chicken as its still pink went to Tilehurst branch on Oxford road to speak to manager and they didn't seen to care and my daughter eaten a part of this not good at all so be careful everyone check your chicken.

A week ago I visited kfc and my order contained fly eggs. I reported it to the online help and they were helpful and provided me with a voucher. I ordered today for the first time after the incident and was greeted with a piece of hair in my food. I would avoid going going to this place.

Absolutely disgusting and nothing like KFC is supposed to be. Just spent over £25 and the chicken that was served up was dry and probably at least a day old. Unfortunately, it was a takeaway so didn't find out until I got home. Don't bother with this franchise!

Will definitely not be having this again it was dried up warm not nice I also ordered 2x chips which I paid for and never got. Tried ringing the restaurant and they didn’t answer my call. Not happy with the service at all,

I've mostly gone here to have a sit down when passing.. I must of been here over 100 times at this point and the toilets are frequently out of order and have been in dreadful condition for a clear majority of the time. The ordering screens also rarely print receipts so I have had to take a photo every time I order. Although this has been better more recently. The food is pretty standard, nothing too special but I've had nothing to complain about as of yet.

Quiet and plenty of seatings during weekday lunchtimes. But somehow their machines are always having problems. There was a time when wireless payment was out for a week, then there was another time when the softdrink machines are not working properly.

We had KFC tonight it was Disgusting and way to much oil and it Tasted Nasty my wife is feeling sick as I am to we both have that Taste of oil in are mouth we never go back to the the kfc Reading Oxford Road again you give good honest money for Very oily food. Rate KFC 0- out of 100 you should be a shamed.

Went through the drive through Oxford rd Reading…chicken burger was nice although the portion of chips was appalling the bag was half empty and they were covered in black pepper …WHY black pepper??? I will be asking for a replacement when I return !

I am absolutely fuming, i ordered a boneless box and waited 10 minutes for my order, fair enough it was quite busy but that is not my point.They’ve missed out my garlic mayo dip which i paid 40p for, they didn’t give me my drink i had to go up and ask for it, they didn’t give me gravy and gave me sweetcorn instead. What if i was deathly allergic to corn? absolutely no respect or thought behind what they’re doing here, they should’ve consulted with me first. So not only was my meal 10 whopping great british pounds but they’ve missed half of me bleeding order out!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I am extremely disappointed by the service I've received after visiting this KFC. I ordered two meals for me and my elderly uncle without any drinks. After finishing our meals, my elderly uncle walked over to the till to ask for a cup of tap water, he was rudely refused it by the worker, and was told he needs to buy a bottle of water or bring his own. I thought there must be a misunderstanding as I'm aware that its a legal requirement for all restaurants to provide tap water, so I went over to ask why this wasn't provided. The same worker (female) told me her manager told her not to give tap water out. I asked to speak to the manager, who's name is Jas (apparently) he is an Asian male, short and tubby build with short hair. He told me extremely rudely that he cannot give water and when I asked why he replied "because we don't give tap water, that's it. Buy some or we can't help" I found his response so unprofessional and I continued to reiterate my point across, however he kept interrupting me. He then told me they have had all their taps removed. I asked Jas how long this rule has been in play for, and he said the KFC headquarters told them they're not allowed to give water and they came to remove the taps. I am absolutely disgusted by the lies and disrespect shown by Jas, he is in no position to be a manager as he has no customer service etiquette and is also a liar. I suggest that this KFC manager is investigated and educated on the legalties of running a restaurant. I would never ever recommend this place to a friend, nor will I be returning.

No different to most KFC in the country They insist on you using the self ordering service which can get frustrating when you're not used to it. However I also wanted a Tea which I could not find so the server told me to order and pay at the till !! Confused Food is good and the place is clean and tidy

Can't go wrong with a KFC. As my local branch, no complaints at all. Any issues with food I've had previously, were resolved no problem

Why can’t all KFC be like this one in reading . Got what I asked for . Nice and fresh and nice pieces of chicken. Staff was so friendly. KFC CEO you should take all your managers to this restaurant and show them how to run a KFC. On reading the other reviews . It seems they have taken them on board and changed things .

Going to KFC used to be a treat, not so now, greasy chicken, minimum so called chips dirty tables and no condiments. Perhaps I am too old to go to fast food restaurants. I thought some standards were a given.

we missed half our order and when we told the delivery guy he said to just call so we did, we called 3 times on two different phones and yet no reply my brother has now had to go down there and god knows what you guys will tell him. Also anyone i know when they order a bucket meal you guys just put all drumsticks inside the box.

Clean, bright and recently redone. Easy free parking, but watch how long you're there for.

Drive through was very slow, however once you ordered collection was very quick. Chicken wasn't as good as normal, slightly underdone and berry oily, chips are revolting.

Service was very slow, staff not really bothered about customers more upon themselves. Food was just thrown into bags and was not done with any care at all. Out of 4 order screens, only 1 was working. We sat in the restaurant but in hindsight should have got out of there quick. Saying that, the food itself wasn't at all bad. Won't be going back....

We usually get a drive through here, one of the better KFC branches as they can be pretty hit and miss

My other half who is pregnant was in dire need of a toilet whilst we were there for dinner. The disabled toilet is out of order as it was when we previously visited three weeks ago. There was only one cubical available which was in such a dire state after an absolute scag head of a woman used it previously. The other cubical was missing the door and was also in a dire state. Management really need to have a look at themselves as if they can't provide toilet facilities they shouldn't be in the fast food industry

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to a young lady by the name of Amy who was serving at the drive through hatch this afternoon. Clearly the team were under a lot of pressure but Amy seemed to be taking it all in her stride. When my little lad asked for his Chicken Popcorn to be served in a burger box (kid's can be awkward) the answer was "of course, not a problem." Thank you for making my life easier. You're a STAR!!!!

This fast food chain is one of KFC's bigger locations.. Situated in Reading Retail Cark near Norcot Junction on Oxford Road, this restraint has lots of car parking and a drive through lane. kFC has plenty of seating, and the layout is very accessible.
