You don’t need an ID to vote but you need one to go in to breastfeed your ill five month old at this ER. Unfortunately, in the heat of the moment we rushed to the ER and I did not bring mine. My husband brought his so he went in alone with my baby. Luckily, I eventually found a photo of my ID but the police officer wouldn’t let me in because there is also a one-person visitor policy for an illness that kills less than 1% of the population. That is the real sickness. Keep “just doing my job” people. A kindhearted Dr. eventually told him to let me and the others waiting, to come wait inside and finally took me to go see and breastfeed my baby. If anything I am grateful for that person who still has a sense of humanity.

I took my great-grandson to the ER at about 12:45AM Sunday morning because he had a fever and wasn't feeling well. The doctor informed me he may have strept throat and took a culture and did a COVID-19 test. He is laying beside me and thinks something is in throat and I have yet to receive any information whether his test was positive or negative for either test. The doctor informed me it would take about an hour for the strept throat and for us to go home and she would call me before her shift ended at 7:00AM. I have called twice with no results. This is unacceptable and disgusting that this child is suffering and hardly able to eat because his throat hurts. It's 2:54 AM Monday and I have heard nothing. Shame on this Hospital.

I got here at 10pm and i am just now leaving at 3:52am. The wait time here is absolutely crazy. The workers are friendly to patients, but they have way too many side conversations for patients to hear. If my wait wasn't so long i would be able to drop my son off at school, but since i ha e about three hours to try to sleep, i might forget. On the bright side, there is a separate childrens emergency room, so i didnt have to hear anyones screaming child.

There was a nurse there, Caucasian wearing a white scrub top and blue scrub pants with a ponytail. This nurse had scratched out her name on her badge so people could not see her name permanently. She was rude and nasty to me and other people seeking help for their children. This was a few weeks ago in the afternoon-evening time. The wait times at this hospital are inhumane and some support agency needs to help them meet the needs of the people. We waited 9 hours to be seen. Sick people need to be separated from injured people to prevent the spread of illnesses. My experience and my son's experience at this hospital was unacceptable.

PLEASE READ! Worst hospital I know i took my 7 month old because he was very sick and when i say very sick i mean i was so scared and stayed up at night to look over him. He would not eat and it was hard for him to breathe at night, he lost so much weight. The hospital gave him a covid test and told me straight up they dont know whats wrong and will not give me my son covid results. i keep calling and they say the will call back and never did. I now have to take him to the main Childrens hospital beside the main medstar. Pls do not bring ur kid here they are so unprofessional. And if i was not smart My son would still be so sick because of those idiots.

This hospital is literally the worst. It's like they make you want as long as possible to try to discourage you from staying so they don't have to do any work. Meanwhile the lobby is empty and we were the second people in. This place needs to be shut down. They're outlets aren't even childproof which is ironic with this being a children's hospital.

I don’t care what no one says this Children’s is the bomb. I have been here several times. Each time I’m here 2 hours or less. My child has always left feeling better. They are nice and the timing is great. I really don’t have no complaints. The nurses and doctors have always made my kids feel comfortable. They also mad me feel comfortable with them assisting my kids. The staff there is very nice and polite. I love it here for my kids. They have a great waiting area. My girls love the kid friendly computer in the lobby. I have no complaints and I just want to say thank you and keep up the good work. I am writing this review right now in this hospital. And I had to do it because the service is so great. And I wanted to say thank you, we need more great customer service staffs like you guys

Got to childrens hospital at 7:15pm, brought my 2 year old in with a high fever. Vitals we’re not taken upon intake. Two hrs later one side of my daughters face turned red.I literally begged a white nurse to take her temp, and she took it in the mouth, my 2 year old was lethargic and wouldn’t close her mouth. The white nurse turned to her white manager and said something her manager said “there are people here that can’t breath”. Thank God a black male nurse heard my cry as I begged him to take her temperature. His first response was why didn’t she take it under the arm, as we both shook our heads, When he did 104. A 2 yr old with a temperature of 104. Disgusting don’t leave until 3:30 am. Never again.

Worst place to go for emergency. It took 2 hours just to get vitals for chest pain on a 6 year old. Staff are unprofessional.

Their waiting room was congested with people who had been waiting for long periods of time. I have filled out a numerous amount of surveys that probably weren’t even read. The staff talks to each other about patients confidential information and is very rude. I have had some or more than one alright experience but the quality of this hospital needs to improve their hospitality and has severe issues with getting people seen.

The absolute worst! 4 hrs to even get to the back. Although I informed staff that my daughter could possibly have covid. We still sat in the packed waiting area with newborns and other small children. Once in the back we were told to sit in rm 8 we continued to sit for another hr. No one even acknowledged that we were there. Left at 330 without seeing speaking to anyone called my phone at 4:13 letting me know that doctor is waiting to see us🤦‍♀️ These are kids and babies not grown ups. Don't deserve the children's logo. Still acting and servicing like greater southeast. I'll never come back

Our visit was great. At first I was skeptical because of the reviews, but it was the only place to go. My daughter was moved to a treatment room within 5 minutes. We had the most attentive Doctors, nurse and Physician. They explain every treatment and what they needed to do. They were very friendly and their bedside manners was amazing. The 11 hours we spent there was long and tiresome, but because the positive attitude of the staff it wasn't bad. I will most likely use their service again. Thank you.

This hospital is horrible, my son is having issues and the doctor he saw was unable to diagnose him but was concerned about his blood pressure which has been high 5 different times and him having a gastrointestinal bleed. The doctor told me she was waiting to hear back from a gastrointestinal doctor and a kidney doctor and she’d call me with their recommendation when she reached them. Well it’s now the next day and not only did she never reach out to me she is not at work today. I called the ER and no one is taking my son's health seriously. My son is sick and having stomach issues and has vomited blood. How careless can these people be.

This place is the worst ever I have been here for 8 hours . No one give you updates and then the social work is the worst. The bathroom look like no one cleaned it for years that how nasty it was The someone at the security desk did take me to another one when the housekeeper came he stated that he does the bathrooms last. The time was like 10 pm . Some of the staff was friendly.

Terrible service, I arrived at 8:30 pm and waited 8 hours for my daughter to be seen. At 4:00 am, they took her into the room to wait 3 more hours at 7:00 am. I left the room to go home because they never attended to me. .
