One of the best burger I have ever eaten … staff is soooo friendly . Fries is thin and delicious . Thanks to Our server Mr Aubs , he is so friendly and amazing … he is the best .

I have to say one of the best burgers of Liverpool. Definitely come here to try it. Only negative thing I can say, the fries are not included with the burger and the portion of fries you get is small compared to how much you pay it. Other than that the burger is a delicious. We had also chicken fillet that was £5.50 including a sauce and the portion was small (they state It is for sharing)

The Burger was very nice as well as the sweet potato chips. the chicken was ok but didn't taste of much even with a dipping sauce (cajun relish - tiny bit sweet). The staff were nice and the restaurant was very quiet so the service was quick. We paid around £20 for everything.

The best GBK I’ve ever been to in terms of service and quality / quantity of food. Lived in Liverpool for over a year back in 2015-2016. The staff is as amazing now as it was back then. Treat you like friends and look after you. One member of the staff remembered me from all that time ago and didn’t let me pay for my order. The London branches can definitely learn from this team with regards to customer services. Will be my next meal whenever I return to Liverpool. Thanks GBK Liverpool for always looking after me!❤️

Woah, this place is overpriced! Food is nice but not that many pounds nice. Restaurant was completely empty yet our table and menu were not clean. And that smell. I don't know if they have problem with drains but it was very off putting. The gentleman behind the bar was very nice, he deserves better!

We came in annoyingly close to closing time but a very friendly, enthusiastic gentleman (ginger/strawberry blonde chap with a beard) was fantastic and really accommodating. Food was great and, though we opted to take out, the aesthetic of the restaurant itself was amazing. I'll definitely stop by again and look forward to the next visit.

I came in yesterday and was greeted with a welcoming smile. The service was impeccable from a server called Aubrey, he suggested what burger to have and it was delicious. Would definitely be returning to try again.

Fast service in here and extremely tasty food! A bit on the higher side of price, but definitely worth it. Tables felt a bit closer than they should (COVID restrictions) but aside from that had a great time and would return!

Cheese and Bacon burger was amazing, brilliantly tasty and prepared exactly how we asked. Couldn’t fault the food at all, staff were very helpful also. Will definitely be returning soon, highly recommended!

Last stop before going home to America. Gluten Free bun for my celiac husband and knew their stuff to keep him away from the fries ans kept everything separate. For me, BEST onion rings ever! Friendly service, delicious hamburgers. Asking this as a place to come next time on our visit to England!

Lovely food , the option to upgrade your beef burger to chicken breast is also very nice as it basically doubles the menu size. The food was lovely definitely recommend the rocket man with panko chicken.

Didn’t really enjoy it - was quite an uncomfortable atmosphere given it was 8pm on a Saturday eve, place was completely empty. Servers were attentive but one of them was a bit too attentive and came across as a bit weird and made us feel awkward. Other server, a girl, was very nice however and very down to Earth! The food was disappointing - I know we ordered the Xmas burger which was a risk but it just didn’t taste good but saying that the chicken was cooked well. Chips were underdone but the onion rings were decent. Do not buy the mice pie milkshake. For one, they take ages to make and came after our food had arrived (which didn’t take long to be fair) and two they tasted weird and had bits in them which put us off completely and we stuck to the free water for the rest of the night. The girl server offered us replacement drinks at the end of the meal but we just felt a bit deflated by the restaurant on the whole and wanted to leave. Okay if there are no other options available but the staff, layout and price of the menu options let it down a bit.

Thought service was slow although friendly, food very over priced and average(maybe due to the crisis we are all enduring) restaurant itself was minging, stair rail sticky and filthy, funny meaty smell going up the stairs along with every step being worn out(accident waiting to happen) tables sticky, chairs not clean. Needs a thorough revamp.

As it was my first time at GBK, I was not impressed! Struggled to get the order on line on phone, eventually one of us did. Ordered, drinks took over half an hour and food even longer. When arrived the only meal that was hot was my 6 yr old granddaughters meal. Our 3 burgers and chips were luke warm! Also had a lovely bright cushion on the seats where we sat! My granddaughter who is a enthusiastic reader turned over cushion and began to read "take your balls in your hand"! It was a testicular cancer info pillow! Certainly not appropriate for a 6 year old! With diagrams!!! Get your act together!!!!!

Overpriced average food. An app to order and pay. Expected to pay a tip on the app for service not yet received and then no check back, no offer of knife and forks, serviettes, salt, pepper, sauces etc. Overall, underwhelmed and probably won't go back if there is ever an alternative!

I went with my 10 yo daughter. I thought the food was average but my daughter just didn't like it. For a restaurant charging alot for a burger I expect my order to be taken at the table yet I had the choice of using an app to order ( which i feel is very impersonal) or going to the counter which I chose to do. Food was served by staff to the table. It was a sunday afternoon and it wasvery quiet unlike other restaurants in liverpool one which were very busy. So my star ratings are reflective of the food quality, the way table service is managed and the lack of atmosphere.

Me and my brother had a great time this afternoon. Burgers were fat and juicy. Will definitely come again. Maybe even tomorrow!

The staff were outstanding, really went above and beyond to provide a memorable and really lovely experience. We had a slight hiccup with our food and they sorted it immediately without any fuss. Will definitely be returning, possibly for the World Cup as they are showing it.

Decent burgers, great milkshakes! It’s been a long while since I last went to a GBK, around 5-6 years. I had plans to watch a movie at the Odeon so the location was very convenient with it being on the top floor of Liverpool One. I visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and it was quite quiet. The male waiter that served me and my friends was very friendly and helpful as I had an issue using the new app with my previous email and took my order at the counter. Since it was a long time since I last visited, the company had changed the app and it’s customer database - I had to download the new app and sign up for a new account using the same email I used previously but unfortunately all my previous rewards had been removed on the new app. I ordered the GBK Cheese and Bacon burger (£11), sweet potato fries (£4.50) and a sea-salted caramel milkshake (£5.75). The burger was nice and cooked medium as requested but I’ve personally had better burgers elsewhere. The sweet potato fries were nicely salted and crispy and the milkshake was just the right amount of sweetness like I had remembered. Overall, GBK has been consistent over the years - The service is great, good sweet potato fries, nice milkshakes and standard burgers. I used to come here more often when Liverpool One and GBK had opened but there are more options for good burgers now.

Although I really like the burger at GBK, today one of the bread buns was mouldy. Admittedly, the mould spot was not too big, but still visible. I'm a microbiologist so I also know that from a hygiene point of view the whole batch of bread needs to be disposed of when one is mouldy. I flagged it to the staff and their reply was 'apologies but our bread is fresh'. Very shocking how indifferent they were to serving spoiled food. Lost me as a customer.

We went in at about 8pm last night and the place was not clean. Service was very slow even though we were the only ones in there. The food was quick and the burger was ok but the fries were awful, they were like dust, well over cooked and greasy…we couldn’t eat them. The coleslaw was dry and couldn’t eat that either. The onion rings were also well over cooked and greasy also. We spent over £50 and felt we had completely wasted our money. We would have told staff however no one came to check on us

The food was OK. However, the toilets and the route to it was disgusting. The smell of grease was vile and the stairs were so thick with grease it was like an ice rink. Definitely my first and last visit

I think the standards at GBK have slipped up over the years. The Vegan Bean burger was far from anything special - quite dry in fact. I felt the chunky chips were a bit unseasoned. Thankfully, they have a vegan milkshake (a vegan chocolate would be preferable).

We came here with a wowcher and were satisfied with the quality of the food. The manager was very helpful and I’m not sure the running of the place would have been sufficient without him. My only complaint would be that it wasn’t very clean inside.

Booked 5 days in advance and warned we were both gluten free. Not a fad like a vegan. An actual allergy. After drinks are ordered to be told “we’ve had a busy day and we have nothing GF” what? We all know it’s kept frozen. Bad management? Either way. Never ever again.

The wife and I had an excellent meal at GBK, Liverpool yesterday. Despite being extremely busy , they managed the flow of customers really well, and made room and time for everyone, fair play. We were asked several times how things were, the staff could not do enough for us. Great food, great service, & we'll definitely go again.

Went for a meal here with my friends and my boyfriend and ordered a beef burger that had pulled pork on it, absolutely delicious at the time but i fell ill the next day with food poisoning which i’m convinced i got from this place as it was the only place me and my boyfriend had eaten at where he hadn’t taken a bite or finished off my meal. The food and service where absolutely delicious, was just all bad luck i had fallen ill afterwards

GBK is an old favourite. Used to visit the Birmingham Mailbox one all the time. Liverpool branch is solid. Quick and pleasant to visit. Hei Hei chicken to start is addictive. Moist… so, so very moist 😻 Burgers are all good - love the pano chicken satay. Miss the Camemburger. Skinny fries 😻😻 Dancin’ food.

Absolutely lovely place for a bite to eat, burgers are nice and filling and the milkshakes are unreal, the best part about this place is the waiter never got his name but he was wearing a pink and blue flamingo shirt, from the moment we entered to the moment we left he made us feel very welcome and was happy to assist, if you read this well done mate you made my day.

Normally GBK serves a good meal and all the places in London have served a very well prepared meal in a shop fitted out to high standards. However; this location in Liverpool was distinctly underwhelming and I could not recommend it. Very average hence the score. The ambiance of the eatery is low cost. The meal itself was poor by burger standards. By contrast, the Liverpool Honest Burger we had visited the previous day was great with delicious food and a great atmosphere.

Was not told that there were long delays with the food. Waited over an hour for my burger so got a refund instead. I understand it was busy but just let the customers know when showing them to their table and keep them updated. Thanks.

Great customer service but the chicken burger we had was just a thin sliver of rubbery chicken on a small burger. Took about 45 mins from ordering to getting the food.

All the other restaurants were booked and there was a 40 minute wait. We came here as a last resort, but were not disappointed. Friendly staff who made sure everything was ready at the table and showed us how and where to order. The manager was seen on the floor and behind the till helping out. I wish I got his name as he recommended a banana milkshake and it was awesome. I normally don't drink milkshakes but this came with the Christmas burger bundle I ordered so asked for his recommendation. Excellent call. The burger had a nice sauce and was cooked medium rare, like I asked. You could order skinny chips or chunky ones. The skinny ones were a bit too skinny for me and not very enjoyable. The chunky ones were cooked really well. They were fried but hollow and airy. I don't know how else to describe them, but they were nice. As always, prices are relative. Make sure to look at the menu before you go. They also have an app, so download it as you'll collect points for free food. I downloaded mine too late 🤦🏻‍♂️ I give it a four only because they had an offer about lunch burgers being served in 15 minutes or the next one is free. Because it was busy the promotion wasn't running. The waiter told us, and it makes sense, but if someone didn't ask the question, and waited 40 minutes expecting it, it would be frustrating. I'm glad I asked early, but disappointed I couldn't get the offer.

The cheese and bacon burgers went down a treat with plenty of options to customise your burger. Overall the menu had plenty of choice. I had the Calafornia veggie burger which I did not enjoy. It was sloppy with little taste I would not order again. Great portion size when we ordered The chunky skin on fries which tasted great. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The decor is tired and in need of revamp.

Food was very good. I've had a lot of burgers in the US but the burger I had here was one of the best. Steve and Kate were very nice and friendly as well. Great service, great food, great all around. If I ever return to Liverpool I will be sure to stop there again.

What an amazing place to eat! Very welcoming right from the front door. The service is the best in Liverpool. They were also very supportive of the charitable cause we are taking part in this weekend. This is the spot to go to with your family and friends for sure. Yvian and the staff are legends, love it!

Pros: - the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive Cons: - quite expensive for what it is, we paid £40 for 2 meals - completely empty when we went but it was filthy. Tables were full of grime and visible dirt. Our seats and tables were sticky. The floors had bits of food scattered about. - a few of our servers had bad body odour which seemed to linger and ruined the mood. - we were told we’d be getting a hot sauce mix on the house but this never arrived Consider exploring other options nearby as this definitely wasn’t worth it. We probably wouldn’t go again.

Been a few times in last 12 months. The Burgers are so tasty and I don't mind paying more because the quality and taste is fantastic. The manager was very helpful when there was a recent problem with processing a refund due to a card machine problem. I can certainly recommend the Liverpool branch as they have super friendly and knowledgeable staff.
