Came in yesterday and my daughter made her first purchase, a tortoise! The staff could not have been more helpful and knowledgable about everything, even down to after care, after we have left the shop, still happy to answer any questions we have. We bought our second gecko 🦎 today from this shop, Connor thank you so much! You have patience and really are a polite member of staff! You let our Daughter choose her birthday present whilst explaining what types of geckos you had. You are fantastic and excellent with regards to the passion & time you spend explaining and the care for the animals. I hope you are rewarded for your excellent service!! If people read my last review that was bad please ignore it as a fantastic member of the team not mentioning no names HEATHER lol rang me to sort my problem out regarding the Blue Asian Scorpion that I have purchased of them. I hate stressing but thanks to Heather she calmed me down and went over and above board to help me and the advise is brilliant. SO I would Definitely recommend this reptile Centre to anyone. I visited just after going to Blackpool zoo. It was a cursory visit after looking up shops of this kind in Blackpool as there aren't any in my area. Firstly....wow, the sheer variety these guys have, all kept in amazing condition, is astounding. After a good look around at the reptiles and fish I finally found what I was after,Tarantulas.I didn't intend to buy....just look. £150 later, i left the shop. The guys there were super friendly and knowledgeable and were so awesome interacting with my daughter. I left with a curly hair sling, a blue babboon, and a Brazilian white knee. I will return next pay day (trust me its worth the fuel cost.

Absolutely outstanding establishment. They truly care about their animals, give amazing advice and will always be willing to help. My leopard gecko was sick and after mentioning this, they invited me to bring it in to see if they could help in any way and although my gecko had to be euthanized, they were so incredibly kind, I won't forget their generosity. This is the only place I will ever go for all of my Reptile and Acquatic needs and I strongly suggest you do too!

Mixed feelings . I bought a budgie off them (£50) who only lived for 4 days. I was heartbroken. He was OK on day 2, got excited when I played bird songs, but that is the only time he seemed happy. Then on Saturday evening after not eating or drinking all day he let out one squeel and fell off his perch dead, eyes still open. I couldn't revive him. I think it may have been a heart attack The only thing I noticed was that other then seeming sad his claws were way too long , one curling in on itself. I was offered another bird at a discount but was unsure about buying one from them agaun and it was too soon after losing this little one. They did point out that they were under no obligation to do anything as livestock is only guaranteed for 2 days. Budgies can take a week or two to settle into a new home so I feel that this needs altering I would have liked some compassion and an acknowledgement of what happened, that it was possibly nobodies fault ,and also the amount paid for the bird refunded. All in all not a good experience. The bird and cage cost me £136 and for what ? 4 days of anxiously trying to settle in a new bird and then have him die on the fourth. I was heartbroken. Yes, I am experienced with birds by the way

This place is amazing the staff are respectful and welcoming, I love going to this place, the staff educates people before they sell the animal the animals are well looked after not only do they sell fish and reptiles they also sell birds and accessories for your pets I buy stuff for my pets here that I can't find anywhere else and it's perfect. And so are the staff. When I'm at the shop and the phone rings they all answer it so politely. And thank you to Gaz, David and Dean for first showing me around and educating me. Also thanks to Tyler for showing me how to properly handle snakes and clean them without being bitten or harming the snake and being very polite.

Amazing service! My son is obsessed with reptiles and while in Blackpool we drove past the shop and had to stop in to have a look. The shop was well presented and had a wide variety of animals at reasonable prices. We were most impressed with a young girl working who gave myself and my son a tour of the store showing us all the different animals and telling us lots of information we would have never known. She is a credit to the store! We are in the market for a new pet in the coming months, although we live in Scotland we will highly consider a purchase from the online website.

Unbelievable service from start to finish. Wouldn’t look anywhere else! Customer service is fantastic and knowledgeable staff to answer any questions. For a beginner the staff take their time to talk you through everything and we ended up with a great deal! Thanks guys best shop in the North West!

Absolutely outstanding service..!! I purchased a Royal Python and all the equipment, including vivarium. I live 3 hours away, so everything was purchased over email and phone. At every single point, Phil was amazing. Giving me good and honest advice and didn't try selling unneeded items, 😇. I chose to collect and the store is outstanding. All the animals are clearly well looked after and you could spend a whole day here just looking around. All the staff went above and beyond, and I can honestly say that I'd shop nowhere else, 😊. My Royal Python is extremely healthy, and his home is all ready for him. Thanks guys, 😉.

Went to see these guys for information and wasn't disappointed great service and extremely knowledgeable about anything exotic came out with a complete new vivarium setup for my daughter's corn snake and I don't say this lightly but would have gladly paid double for all the information I was given great guys👍👍

Absolutely 5 star place this is! We have been coming here for around 1 year now, and even used their lizard boarding house! Fantastic bunch of lads, always willing to provide expert advice, for amatuer reptile keepers, such as myself ! Most days when we come to this place, the staff are always more than happy to allow my daughters to even hold some of their animals ! We recieved our brand new vivarium yesterday, already built and set up! It's very safe to say, that we have 1 happy lizard and a happy daughter ! Thanks again lads , for not only your advice , but for your kindness and hospitality you show myself and my daughters, every single time we visit the shop, and ask daft questions regarding our lizard! ! Visited the shop yesterday to purchase a new thermostat as thought the one we had was broken. The guys in the shop took the time to look at my existing thermostat and figured out what was wrong and how to resolve the issue which has saved me £95. I wish you could get this level of service everywhere as it was amazing

We visited this reptile and aquarium place as we wanted some good quality fish for our youngest child for a present as she's obsessed with gold fish. The staff were extremely helpful and advised us we needed a cold water set up and advised us how to maintain it and when to feed the fish. They also explained how to introduce new fish to the tank on a weekly basis. Highly recommended and will visit soon for more fish for our tank

Hopefully purchasing a Bearded Dragon baby here plus set up (set up 24/48 hrs before welcoming the youngster to get correcttemperatures Store looks fabulous and well stocked. All reptiles look extraordinary and looked after by extremely knowledgeable staff. Comes highly recommended.

I’ve bought serval snakes from this shop over the last four years. They have given me excellent advise towards caring for my animal and even gone the extra mile when I took a interest in breeding ball pythons. Dean and the team have always looked after me when purchasing animal, they have also taken the time to teach me and help me to improve within the hobby this was without any financial benefit, they are more than happy to help. They have extensive knowledge spread across there team, it’s easy to see there main interest even before profit is the animals health. They sell quality healthy animals which make great pets. I would always recommend this shop and will continue to us them.

My daughter and I called in for the first time. We were very impressed with the shop and the experience we had. The staff are fantastic and were kind enough to show us some snakes as we are interested in learning what is involved in keeping snakes. There was no sales pressure and we felt so welcome. I would have no hesitation in recommending these guys. Fantastic!

I recently got a bearded dragon what has settled in nicely. The staff are very friendly and helpful as they will help you with any questions to do with the reptiles and give you great advice so if people want to get a reptile I would definitely recommend to come here as they have lots of lovely animals.

From asking questions, to ordering, to delivery and set up, Blackpool Reptiles&Aquatics Have Been Amazing! Ordered the gold leopard gecko set up and came with everything I needed to start out. Heather was amazing with communication about dispatch and sending tracking info, Heather was also amazing in dealing with an issue I had regarding the uvb bulb. It's finally sorted and my new little gecko is exploring away. Heather you was my star doing all of this. Thank you so much.

Ordered online and collected my hatchling royal python from here after coming and chatting to the very knowledgeable staff previously. the staff were so helpful and made me feel so at ease and the Royal hatchling has become an instant member of our family its good to know I have them on hand no matter what I need

Couldn’t rate these guys any higher! We went to many shops which were similar but this one topped the lot of them by far. The friendly and knowledgeable staff (especially Phil and Dean) couldn’t of helped us more or made us feel more welcome. Will defiantly be using these guys again, hopefully in the not so distant future.

Good range of snakes, lizards and other reptilian creatures. My daughter loved it, and the guy we spoke to was happy to answer all of her questions, as she is saving up to buy a corn snake. Would definitely recommend

Bought a horsefield tortoise for my son. Unfortunately 5 weeks later his wee pet passed. I called Phil from this store and the service we received was amazing. Very apologetic and very quick to sort our misfortune. Our wee tortoise had an illness no one was aware of, Phil again very quickly arranged for a new tortoise to be given to my son and what a difference the wee things so playful and active showing our first one was ill. Incredible service and fantastic little shop can't wait to get back.

Visited here for the first time today, Phil provided excellent customer service and was welcoming and very knowledgeable and helpful, and provided us with lots of useful information about tortoises and their care. We are looking forward to returning again soon. We enjoyed looking around the shop also at the other reptiles and aquariums, all animals are well looked after and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, experienced and willing to help with any questions you may have.
