After self checking out items that ‘required assistance’, the lady with the blond curly hair and glasses that worked there, stood right next to me, that didn’t acknowledge the ‘assistance required’ messages and looked down on me saying “oh sorry, I thought you were clearing your throat”. You could have just acknowledged me in the first place. Yes I was clearing my throat but that wasn’t my call for you to assist me. You were just being ignorant and plain rude. You heard those messages, you could have just dealt with me, instead of looking for confrontation.

employee prevent me from buying medical product because of I have to be 16 years old. This happed only at this poundland store. How do you even proof you're 16. And on what grounds does she think I'm not over 16. Its medial for goodness sake. Employees at retail doesn't care because they aren't stupid its such unenforceable law. The staff is power hungry asshat. Employees who does this only want to be nuance to customer. Fire that employee. Staff shortage and yet I want that employee fired. She wasted my time. Self serving checkout are useless

It amazes me how even in the darkest depths of a cost of living crisis you can still walk into Poundland with a tenner and leave with half a metric tonne of cake.

Received excellent customer service Zoe Kinloch , she as extremely polite, helpful and directed with to the toys section and stayed whilst helping me to choose, Zoe was excellent, exactly what I needed as I visited th store for the first time, # from Birmingham

Very messy store and staff should be advising each customer to keep 2 metre distance not just picking on the ones they don’t like the look of! Plus they don’t practise what they preach - members of staff were not keep their distance from customers!

Good place for cheap and quick shoping

A really nice Poundland which has a variety of things to offer; especially garments. The clothing tends to be of good quality and there are many options available for all ages and genders. They also sell a range of other items too. Examples would be: homeware, food, DIY products, heath and beauty items and other things too. Would definitely recommend!

Low quality employees who offend women I was shopping in Bristol BS1 3XE around 3.30 pm on 6 May 2023. As a woman, I was subjected to inappropriate "jokes" by the staff at the checkout. While I was checking out, a male shop assistant made insulting remarks to me: "Daddy's calling you, come on." And such people are of low quality, and I hope the company will rectify this soon. By the way, there were not many people in the queue at the shop, and everyone was checking out at the manual service window in the normal process. While hearing this, the cashier (female) next to me laughed along. It seemed that the two staff members were not European. Very seriously, he offended me, as a big brand retailer should focus on staff management and quality issues. This experience was very disappointing for me! I will inform my close friends and family about this and avoid this low-quality staff!

Very busy, well stocked and good selection. Pleased to see all the extra staff brought in to man the tills.

Horrible just went in for some stuff for a hobbie and was kicked out because "they didn't like my face " just because I'm young make it make sense 🤷‍♂️

Empty shelves Regular shop items out of stock. Very disappointed. Left empty handed. If you buy random things you might get lucky. So random!!!

Not a bad shop just not for me

Pound land is a great shop with lots of good deals which you just have to search for. I love their pep n co brand I have been using their leggings since they were 5 pounds now they are 9 pounds s price ..still great quality and I still have my 2015 ones without much wear and year to it ..so keep up the good work on quality

It's Poundland. The 1 of the best stores chain in country. I won't say anything. Just go and check everything.

Big Poundland store not the best selection and not many items a pound anymore but increases and inflation etc... Good for larder and stationary stuff sweets and things

On the top floor of the galleries shopping mall. It has a multi story car park adjoining it. Its close to bus stops as its in the centre of Bristol. Escalators from the ground floor to the top second floor. There is access to the top level directly from Union Street outside. Lots of bargains in the store and their clothes section has come on leaps and bounds in recent months.

Good value for money.

A very decent sized Poundland with the great extra addition of the Pep & Co range.
