👍👍 We took our grand daughters today 7/9/2020! From the minute we pulled in to park it was a great experience, everyone was friendly and helpful. The captain and the other guy were so nice and friendly and stopped when we saw dolphins. From the time we pulled in to the parking lot the guys were awesome... Oh my goodness, I cannot say enough good about this cruise! I took the sunset cruise, they take you out for the boat ride, they drop you off at this island beach to collect shells and you'll also find plenty of sponges and even pieces of coral. And you get to watch the sunset from that beach. It was gorgeous! Highly recommend this very reasonably priced cruise for the whole family!

Highly recommend this trip if you are in the area. Great value for the price as it’s a 2 hour trip and you spend 30 minutes searching Anclote Island. You may also see dolphins, turtles, or manatees! The captains were super friendly and informative and the boat was very comfortable. If you have the time definitely visit the town as well but this trip is a MUST DO if you’re around Tarpon Springs.

Wonderful plan!!! Family friendly, great staff, dolphins were swimming and jumping next to us, they took the time to find them and let us enjoy the interaction, then we went to a beach to find shells, beautiful and unique shells, the view is amazing, the whole trips it’s totally worth it, free parking and a nice gift shop too! We had a blast!!

I went on this fun boat ride with my family and my Aussie. There was a mini bar where you can get some drinks, chips and some mild alcohol. Even though they don't guarantee it you might even see dolphins on your way to the beach/island!! On yhe island you can find seashells and sand dollars. Altogether it was an amazing experience for people of all ages!!

Wow, we just took this boat ride yesterday and after reading a few of the bad reviews, I am wondering if these people chose the same cruise I just did. It was EXCELLENT. The captain and crew were friendly and knowledgeable. The Captain stopped several times to watch dolphins, one which followed us for several minutes. And the shells at the beach were fabulous. Even small things like they provided bags for shells and collecting baskets, they had blankets to keep us warm, and the Captains' voice on the announcements was clear and easy to understand. This is so worth the money. And to the guy who said there were no dolphins or shells - did you expect this cruise company to tie dolphins to the mile markers so they couldn't swim away, or to fence off the beach so wind and waves would not wash the shells back in the ocean - WOW, you are naive about the ocean and rivers! Wake up and smell the roses about real life.

Fantastic cruise. Crew was exceptionally. Was our anniversary and originally had a trip to the Keys planned but had to cancel due to virus. Tarpon Springs and the Dolphin Cruise was the perfect alternative.

We took the 2 hour tour. The tour guide and boat captain are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They give you a history lesson on the area. You are taken out to a beach where you get to collect sea shells and walk around. The goal is to see dolphins, which we seen a couple, but the trip in general is relaxing.

Believe me I am always one for an honest review. I have not been on a boat in a long time. My wife and went during the summer. They have men and woman's bathrooms on the boat. They took us for a nice ride to some island where you can get off the boat and hang out on the beach for a little while. Hey IT MADE MY WIFE HAPPY, all that matters. Tarpon Springs is actually very nice, plus they have good shops for T Shirts etc. Good food, people casual drinking outdoors and music going on, its a nice atmosphere.

these guys are somewhat informative and add a bit of humor.. ..the old school, tech-less schedule with one person, greeted by another, pay at the booth, walked to the store to get boarding pass, assumably all to get you to buy a sponge, was quite entertaining… but the 30min on the key in the middle of the gulf, picking shells with my son, daughter in law, boyfriend and father- priceless!!!

We did the dolphin sunset cruise and loved it! The ride is beautiful, and they take you to this little beach/sand bar with amazing shells!! The captain talks through the ride with cool facts and tidbits

Great experience. We saw several dolphins on our way to the island and the kids really enjoyed finding shells. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. We wouldn't hesitate to go again!

Very fun cruise. On their dolphin cruise there’s no guarantee you’ll see a dolphin, but if you do they ensure everyone gets a look and they seem to keep the dolphin’s safety in mind. They provide buckets and bags for shelling. Snacks and drinks on board at a fair price. Customer service is great when booking and scheduling

Affordable. Fun. Safe. Friendly staff. Beautiful experience. Went alone & felt comfortable aboard the entire time. The rest of the guests were nice as well. Shelling at the island was amazing. Be sure to soak it in and really enjoy it.

This cruise is a great value and beautiful way to see some of the sights and learn about the sponge industry in Tarpon Springs. Anclote Key is absolutely stunning. Captain and bar tender were both awesome, and we saw dolphins within the first 15 minutes of the cruise. 👍🏻😊

We went to Tarpon Springs for a homeschool field trip to learn about sea sponges. I didn't know about or have any intentions of going on this cruise, but we were approached on the street and asked about it. We decided to go, as the price was reasonable. I had 0 expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. We saw dolphins, manatees and bald eagles. We really enjoyed shelling on the beach. We got on the boat at 2:30 and were back in our car by 5. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly. We went during off season on a school day (I would definitely recommend doing that). I don't know that I would do it again, because we already have, but it is definitely worth doing at least once!

We had a nice boat ride out to Anclote Island for shelling and along the way saw several pods of dolphin. For my northern guests it was a real treat, a good value and memorable trip. Definitely recommended.

My husband and I visited with family and had a great time in 2015. The boat tour was fascinating and enjoyed the excursion overall. Would love to go again!

The captain is a jolly fellow that made the sailing fun through his voice, narrative, and music - although we were a bit worried about the social distancing and no masks. I don't like paying $3 per person for "getting out of the boat" and step-in to a tiny sand dune beach area - ludicrous.

  • 1/5 Jeff B. 3 years ago on Google
Very frustrated with there service! Everyone pays the same, but no effort to treat people the same or by order of arrival. We arrived well before a larger group that they let on first “because they did not want to separate them”. But they made no effort to consolidate the space they took, or consideration to where others would want to sit. They were willing to break apart or cramp smaller groups. There are many of these companies in Tarpon, do yourself a favor and choose a different one.

Amazing trip we went at 4:00pm and we saw 11 dolphins they were following the boat and jumping out of the water. This is something everyone should experience well worth it!! We went on 7/20/2020!

We're in love with this cruise, we're coming back each and every time we're in the area! Rain and all! Our weather wasn't perfect, but hey it's Florida, what can you do? We had a total blast and the captain is hilarious!

Excellent cruise adventure! The captains were very informative and were experts at finding dolphin and even lingered safely from them without harassing the dolphin. And the beach excursion was great for shelling and stretching your legs! Beautiful! Have done this excursion 3 or 4 times in the past and will keep returning with out of town friends and family! Highly recommend!

I've taken this cruise several times with family and friends. Today I had a group of 5 friends and myself on the cruise. We seen 7 dolphins and the captain let us spend a lot of time watching them. He was hilarious too. This cruise is the best one I've ever been on. Great job guys. 🤘

I went on a tour with my sister and parents, the captain was nice and entertaining. The boat was clean and the boat ride was enjoyable. We got to see dolphins for about 5 minutes of the boat ride. Once we got to the sand bar for shelling, that was the disappointing part. The island was pretty picked over and there was a strong sulfur smell. Other than that the experience was alright.
