I am only giving 1 star because the allergy nurses are awesome and easy to work with, no issues with the doctor either, but if you want a terrible front desk service, where no one acknowledges you when you come in the door and there is 3 front desk people upfront with no patients and can't even as so much say "we'll be with you in a moment".I worked front desk for years, I understand when you check a patient in and have them seat down you are still finishing their check in. All you need to do is acknowledge someone came in the door and then say be with you in a moment and whoever finishes first can call that patient up and check them in. I hate to say but dealing with them and their lack of communication skills has me looking for a new ent office. The only way they could save this establishment is too clear out these non patient oriented front desk, rehire and train correctly. Let me also say getting allergy shots I come weekly and have never been acknowledged.

I saw Dr. Hood twice. The first time, I went in for allergies and he was only interested in surgery. When I asked for alternative treatments, he shut me down. I went in a year later for ear pain and he was quick to say that it was a dental issue. At my GP's urging, I got a second opinion from another practice who not only ran tests but successfully diagnosed my issue. I had called the billing office because I had an issue with needing a detailed invoice for my insurance company. They let me know I had a refund coming and would mail the check with my invoice. Great, right? Still no check.

BEWARE-DONT BE LATE-I scheduled an appointment last week and had a wonderful on the phone experience. I was referred to this office by my brother who is a local physician. I wrote down the address on my calendar which is only 5 minutes from my office, off of McMullen Booth only to be told that I am scheduled at the Dunedin office which wouldn't make sense but I hurried and drove over there only to be told that I will have to reschedule. I said please I am only 5 minutes late and she said no you are 15 minutes late. Technically I wasn't late at all. So if you are looking for a courteous, friendly, customer service centric team, I would say this team is probably not the one to go to. How about we listen to the recording of my original call so we can see who really made the mistake. Thank you for sending me on a wild goose chase and now on an out of town work assignment with a clogged and painful ear

This rating is based primarily on how difficult it is to get a hold of someone at the office. Every time we try to call on the phone we end up going to voicemail. Additionally, my relative was left a voicemail the day before an appointment (that had been scheduled for over a month) that they would have to pay an additional $300 for a test (outside of insurance). After calling the insurance company and confirming that was inaccurate, they reduced to $68 then had the charge removed, but it just felt like maybe they were hoping she wouldn't call her insurance. We don't necessarily have complaints about care quality, but the amount of time it takes for appointments, phone calls, to get answers, it just seems to take longer than expected. I'm giving 3 stars because mediocre service just seems to be the new normal everywhere so I don't think this is necessarily any better or worse than most other places.

The worst service and experience I ever had when it came to getting medical attention for a sinus infection even after a CT scan. The staff did not show any care and all they wanted was the money and then you were out the door with nothing actually done, but to push it to someone else that had nothing to do with it. Even after repeatedly explaining my symptoms AND 2 ER visits after the appointments in the same day, nothing was done and Dr Alidina accuses me of hiding something. What kind of doctor says that to their patients? Management was no better when it came to the treatment of patients and addressing concerns. Nothing was done when speaking with them about the situation. All I got from them was "Sorry that happened, but what do you want me to do about it?" How about talk more professional with your patients? How about actually help your patients to resolve the pain because it's not a migraine issue as he claimed and I keep telling him that it's not that because of I haven't had one in over a month, but what I have been dealing with is this constant sinus pressure that is getting painful to the point that even 2 ER visits, 2 Urgent Care visits, 2 visits with my Neurologist and 2 visits with you guessed it....Dr Alidina. Still dealing with the pain while looking for another ENT, to help save you guys the search, I would not recommend these guys at all.

Dr Mallon gave me a thorough exam. I am giving 2 stars because I left a message last Monday, now Saturday that I had an allergic reaction to what I was prescribed and asking if there was something else to be prescribed. I have received no contact back from medical assistant. I left my name, DOB and contact info.

I am always nervous when seeing a new doctor. However, from the moment I walked in, everyone I had contact with, receptionist, nurse and doctor all made me feel comfortable. Not overly warm and fuzzy, but I felt like I was in a safe and friendly environment. I saw Dr.Miller who was friendly but to the point. He explained the problem to me and told me how to fix it. He mentioned allergy testing but didn’t push it on me. I felt like I was in control of making that decision. I had a good experience and would return to ENT Associates.

Dr. Clavenna was very nice, knowledgeable, and took his time to answer questions. The staff was friendly. The only thing I would suggest to improve upon is telling patients how much out of pocket expense they will have for in office procedures. I needed a scope down my nose to see my throat. I asked the medical assistant how much of an additional charge that would be. He said he wasn't sure. As I checked out, I was informed my balance due was $231. I fortunately had the money however, I don't think it's good business practice to not inform patients of potential costs before performing procedures. People should be able to make informed decisions. Also, some people may not have an extra $231 to spare. I have had to have in office procedures at other doctors offices and I have always been presented with the cost before proceeding. It comes across as a money grab when procedures are done without giving patients a choice to make that decision financially. I acknowledge that the procedure was warranted. I just take issue with the fact that I wasn't told about the associated cost. For that reason, I do not think I will return.

My mother is 95 years old. We were referred to the ENT office by her primary care physician because both of her ears had impacted wax that could not be flushed. Dr Mullin was so patient and gentle with her! And I am so thrilled to no longer have to yell whenever I speak with her. I have already sung his praises to anyone that will listen. I would definitely refer anyone to Dr Mullin.

The first time I saw Dr. Miller, I didn't care for him, but he must have been having a bad day. The next appointment he seemed to listen to my questions and was much more attentive. Gail Furr

This is a very busy practice during allergy season but they got me in pretty quickly. Dr. D. Hood was compassionate, listened and took notes of what I was telling him. He also heard my concerns about his treatment plan and my other medication and adjusted it without any apparent problems. I have been on the treatment for a short time and am seeing improvement. I recommend this practice as a caring and competent medical group. If I had any complaint it’s more about the Baycare system’s requirement for online registration which you then have to repeat when you get into their offices. That’s not the ENT practice that’s the megacorp and their draconian policies and technology. It’s the bane of modern existence.

After going there for nearly 10 years, after surgery, multiple scans, I was told it's just a simple allergy problem. keep in mind that I'm only getting blockage from one side. Never made sense to me that I'm only suffering from allergies on one side of my nostril. Going to a different practice. Doctors are not friendly, money hungry, doesn't want to get to the bottom of my problem.

After years of self medicating with Allegra, I decided it was time to take the next step. ENT Associates had great reviews and I was very happy to see that my first visit with them was easy, pleasant and thorough. This visit was basically just a consultation to assess the issues and based on this visit, I have high hopes for the resolution of these issues.

Very professional and informative experience with Dr. David Hood and Kevin Rhatigan and Florence Warnock (allergies). This place is easy to work with (appointments etc). Michelle is superbly helpful and she is a real find. Definitely recommend this place.

The staff here is so very friendly. Made me feel like a valued patient the moment I walked in until I left. Answered all of my questions. They were very nice and thorough about any instructions that needed to be given. They definitely have a pleasant atmosphere there.

Nice office, very efficient check in process. Minimal wait time until I was taken back to my exam room. The PA saw me first and then Dr Miller came right in. I have 100% confidence in him. Only ENT I will use. He is highly skilled and pleasant to interact with.

Awful and mismanaged. Made we wait 1 hr because they put the order in the wrong bin. Instead of making it right, ask me to leave and make a new appt. No point in complaining because none of the staff really cares anyways. Found a much better doctor instead.

EXCELLENCE! For 10 years now I have gone to see Dr. Hood for my ENT care and I’m aware that he is well known in the community as being a third generation physician in Pinellas County since his Grandfather and Father first practiced medicine here locally and at Morton Plant Hospital. I personally get very anxious when I have any ear pain or if anyone has to examine the ears. Dr. Hood is always very patient and kind and helps ease nerves by his calm steady demeanor. He’s very knowledgeable and efficient and always provides a play by play of what he’s doing, which helps me know what to expect. I have referred many friends and family to Dr. Hood over the years, as well as for surgeries and they always make it a point to share their same great experience. The offices are very very clean and beautiful, and the staff is always very nice when you walk in. This practice has been in operation for many many years and are well known. For me, experience matters greatly when your choosing a physician and practice. Thank you for helping me throughout these years!

The speech pathologist was really nice, I appreciated her honesty and professionalism. And she's a "Yellowstone " fan! However, She referred me to a medical vocal traing center in Palm Harbor, who was supposed to call and schedule me. They have not.

Highly Recommended! They cared enough to give me a same day appointment after hours to help my daughter who had a double ear infection that was extremely painful. The treatment was fast and very effective and I thank the doctor and staff from the bottom of my heart.
