The selections are not huge, but can tell they care what feed into our body. It is an amazing small coffee shop/cafe. Besides a good eatery, whatever they do/use are eco friendly. Bravo!

New Fresh Look!🤩🤩🤩 This has to be one of the absolute best places in the Dunedin-Clearwater-Palm Harbor area for delicious lattes and absolutely incredible sweets! Such a great keto and gluten-free selection as well, not to mention their boutique menu of hand-made gelatos. Highly recommended for a serene stop for coffee and sweets and cool inside! 😍😍😍💝💝💝👍👍👍

Since I live far away, I wanted to go to this cafe for a long long time to try the honey cake and all the other pastries that they make. And this place did not disappoint. Everything was very tasty, fresh, amazing honey cake with fresh raspberries just melted in the mouth. Delicious coffee, if I got it right, with house made cashew milk. How awesome is that! The quiche I ordered was excellent too. I could not resist and took some pastries to go to try later. I would come back here every weekend. Please, open one of your cafe somewhere in the Wesley chapel 🙏 Keep up great work!

The clotted cream made here is so light and delicious, it compliments the wonderful scones. Many choices of good coffee and other food. I wish I had found them earlier, I would not have gone anywhere else

Very cute small business that was too hard to resist. A bit claustrophobic for me inside and very limited parking. A great stop if you're biking on the trail though. I got the lemon blueberry scone, my wife got the pain au chocolat and my son got the sco-nut... Very good. A little bit on the pricey side but always happy to pay a little extra to help a small business. And their location is probably pretty pricey as it's right on the trail a little north of Dunedin's main street.

Very nice place and close to the beach with nice beach vibes. They were playing live ukulele music which added to the nice feeling. We ordered the “Da Works” bagel. The bagel was very tasty and fresh, the salad was nice. All in all it was a nice breakfast option. It seemed small but we were actually pretty full at the end. What I liked most was that all of the ingredients were very fresh and good quality and you could feel it. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The place was clean and comfy. We were sitting outside and it was a bit windy but in a good weather it’s really nice. A nice recommended place for a light meal.

The cherry almond scone was so delish, I had to order a 2nd one! 😋The best scone I've ever had in fact..you can tell from the first bite that only first rate ingredients are used in their goodies. Outdoor seating added to the overall pleasant experience.

Loved everything here! Nice quiet spaces for reading, very kind women that were so helpful and the pastries were literally the best gluten free dairy free options I’ve ever seen or tasted 😍 so good and can’t wait to come back!

The no-grain, gluten free and keto options are amazingly delicious treats you will not find ANYWHERE else in Dunedin. Seriously! My friends that eat everything love all of their goods, too. Score!!

a bit underwhelmed after going here twice. The prices are hefty and don't really match what you get. Was eager to try the gelato and was extremely disappointed. Didn't taste at all like any gelato I've ever had in Italy. Did not have that creamy rich texture (had icy feel to it) and the taste was bleh. The chocolate was not very good at all so I didn't even bother eating it, and the chocolate hazelnut was very lackluster. I literally had a few bites and ended up throwing away the rest, which was a shame since it cost $7. The sconut was very rubbery, which again, qw tossed it out after 2 bites. The almond bar was decent and the brownie was good. The service is good and they are very friendly, but unfortunately for the price you pay for what you get, we won't be going back.

Customer service was great! We tried their Margherita Pizza and their orange chocolate cake and they were delicious! Definitely coming back.

I love everything about this food! It’s so fresh and much healthier than other bakeries. This place is a gem and everyone working here is friendly and polite. I love to come here whenever I miss European food. We ordered my daughter’s birthday cake from here because she wanted “a honey cake.” It was so delicious and our friends and family really enjoyed it.

It was very clean and food was fine. My only issue was the cashier or front order taker was not very friendly. A little smile would be nice! The owner gave out free samples of her cinnamon rolls, so that was nice. I ordered a coffee, but got an Americano. I wish they would tell customers that they do not have regular coffee. Although the Americano was excellent. And who was the tarot card reader from New Jersey? 😀

I go to Lavita Bakery often. It's a very welcoming place with delicious scones and other delights. The people who work there are all very upbeat and take great care of their customers. Lavita has both indoor and outdoor seating right next to the Pinellas Trail in Dunedin. You will love it.

Great service, great product. I had been previously and paid with a Tap app on my phone. Sent a get a free scone from the phone app so I and the wife and grandson headed on down to Lavita. Wife had the sour dough cinnamon roll and I had the free blueberry scone. It was late in the morning so coffeed out this visit but had great coffee last.

Lavita is an awesome place. We go on Sat mornings for coffee and breakfast. They have really good vegan almond chocolate bars. All their baked goods are fresh and yummy. They have the best bread. It’s very European in its flavor and clean and organic. No additives. I get it all the time. They have indoor and outside seating. The bathroom is always clean. The atmosphere is cozy. They definitely aim to please and make sure you have a great experience!!

Love our Sunday mornings at Lavita! Scones are the BEST. Curtis is always so friendly and helpful. His suggestions make our decisions easy.

Simply wonderful.....delightful little cafe with great coffee and food. The avo/goat cheese bagel was delicious, as were the blueberry scone and sourdough cinnamon roll. Very nice service, too. The driveway/parking is a bit hard to spot, but this is a must-visit in delightful Dunedin.

This restaurant is very pricey, and not everything on the menu is going to ring true for most American palettes. I liked how this place didn't overuse sugar in everything, and has a LOT of gluten-free options. I mean, LOTS. The scones are surprisingly moist and sweeter than I'm used to, making me a scone fan instantly. The cream cheese is smoother and not quite like the stuff I'm used to. The crustless quiche and salad were lovely, but the bagels and cinnamon buns were dry in exactly the way scones usually are. Not a fan. Great staff, but I doubt I'll be returning when Dunedin has so many other breakfast choices that allow me money to buy souvenirs after.
