A lovely, clean, well kept and exceptionally situated guest house in the heart of Porto, situated in the more residential area such that tourist prices are uncommon and all nearby shops are affordable. Also everything you need within 1km in terms of grocery, butcher, laundry, pastelarias etc. Luis and Raquel are lovely, immensely hospitable people with many very good tourism recommendations, they truly want you to enjoy your stay and your time in Porto and will bend over backwards to help you in just about any way possible. Overall a wonderful place to stay to experience Porto. Would revisit in a heartbeat!!

Really good apartments with very good taste and cozy. Beautiful garden, very quite and relaxing. Very central, you can walk to all the city attractions. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Best place to stay in Porto for sure 👌

Great location, great recommendations for eating out and activities in Porto and lovely apartment. Bed on a the small side, being over 6ft and two people in the bed, it was a squeeze. Would recommend though

This place makes our vacation so perfect. the location is so close to metro station and many park and garden. and security is also good due to it's nearby main road. . (but not noissy) they have a beautiful badk garden, so you can realx anytime if you want to have. the communication with the host is always smooth. they are always welcome what I ask about the city and for tourist. the host, Rachel, she always treat us a warm welcome and big smile. she's the one of the main reason why we can enjoy porto itself without any other worries. Highly recommend this place for the rest.

Wonderful Appartments, very nice hosts. It's not in the touristical center of Porto, but it's a very nice neighbourhood in terms of Bars and Restaurants. 15 minutes to walk downtown.

Sadly, the owner thinks only about money, not the guests. We had to beg for towels change, the shower heater wasn’t fixed and the shower door wasn’t closing so the floor got wet, the towels got wet too. Not enough cooking utensils in the kitchen, bad smell from the sink. Overall impression- most unwelcome place we had in Portugal:(((

A cool place. The kids loved the fact one could market anything to make it exciting, even sardines. We were very amused by the concept.

Great central location, very helpful hosts that offer good advice on what to see/do/eat, and the apartment is clean, functional and nicely fitted out.

This apartment is decorated beautifully and spacious and the host is very friendly but it has one huge disadvantage - it’s extremely noisy. The windows are really bad quality, There seems to be no insulation for the windows at all. You hear everything’s. Buses, cars, motorcycles, honks from the street and the room vibrates when someone is moving in the apartment above. Which would be totally tolerable but the traffic noise is not. The first night I could just keep a couple hours then my husband and I had to sleep in the small and rather hard sofa bed in the living room. Not ideal for a vacation. Even my kids, who usually are pretty resistant to noise, complained. So even though the location is great, i would not go here again. The apartment is not fit for purpose.

I’ve stayed 6 days in Trait House. The space is very clean, spacious and quiet. You have enough space to relax in the dining area or living area. I even had a ceiling window on top of the bed. You can also close it completely with the blind so you have a dark room for relaxing sleep. The location is excellent for local attractions and shopping area. It’s a bit farther from the sea side like 15-20 minute walk but it’s still walkable distance. Last but not least, the host was wonderful and welcoming who took additional care of me while I was worried for my solo trip. Recommend this place.
