Almost perfect. We stayed 4 nights. The hotel and room was exceptionaly clean and the decor fresh. The location is fabulous, right in the heart of the city and easy to get to, but also very quiet, not a peep at night (our room faced the back). The staff are friendly and hard-working. As always, it's the small things: - No coffee machine in the room. Just a kettle and instant granules, which is fine for a cheaper hotel but Pestana's calibre should be better. Even budget hotels have small pod machines nowadays. - No gowns. Which sounds silly but at other Pestana brand hotels we've had them. At this price and a 4 night stay it seems off-brand. I wouldn't mind if they don't do them at all but I went to the pool and met another couple who had them. Also, only one towel per pserson per room which is super annoying when it comes time for ladies to wash their hair. Am I supped to use a handtowel for my head? Skimping on the small things in a not-so-cheap hotel always looks bad.

Nice hotel with a very central location . The rooms were a little on the small side but well equipped. We had two rooms one on 1st floor overlooking the busy street and admittedly if was noisy, the higher rooms are less noisy. Breakfast was average, buffet style. The service was a little impersonal. What was disappointing was the fact that water was not replenished in the room.

The room was very nice and comfortable. The reception staff were very helpful. We were able to stay at a good price. The location is quite central and nearby a lot of good places to visit. I would highly recommend this place, if you are looking for somewhere central to stay in Porto.

Hotel was lovely - very central and incredibly helpful staff. Rooms are very modern with incredible showers. On the main strip but very quiet inside. Generous breakfast buffet. Can walk to almost all main tourist sights in under 20mins.

Just checked into this hotel and it’s fabulous! Can’t ask for a better location and rooms are quiet though it’s on the pedestrian street. Hotel is beautifully decorated and room and bathroom are beautiful, modern and clean. (Added) Breakfast is awesome and staff are so friendly, a great way to start the day. This hotel is highly recommended!

We went there for dinner. We ordered the entrecote both of us. After a long wait (40 -45 min), we finally got the food. And what a disappointment. My wife's meat was completely dry and tough to eat. We ordered medium both of us, mine was ok but tasteless and slightly overdone. My wife's steak was like a peace of leather. The waiter gave us the option to either get a dessert for free or not pay for the food my wife ordered. By then, we were tired and angry, so we just paid for one dish and wine so we could leave. Not worthy of four stars.

Great experience. All of the staff were incredibly helpful, professiona and friendly. Room was clean if a bit small. Breakfast was outstanding. Location is outstanding for its proximity to local sites/dining and very near major metro station though car access to front of hotel is limited (but still very accessible).

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights in April 2023. The check-in was fast and the lobby is an inviting mix of a modern interior set in what seems to be a quite an old building. We got a Superior Plus room, and it would be bigger than the Superior that we had originally booked – this was a nice gesture but the room cannot really be described as a large room. The room layout was quite standard with a king-size bed, a desk, a TV on the wall and a small wardrobe. There was a small safe hidden in the bedside table, and a small fridge. I did enjoy the welcome gift: a bit of port wine and some Pastéis de Nata. The room was tastefully decorated and was modern! A sliding door separated the room from the bathroom – made up of dark tiles on the floor and some sort of marble in the sink and shower walls. There was some good shampoo, conditioner and lotion but my wife would have enjoyed having a shower cap. The shower experience was good with nice water pressure and hot water – there were slippers and bathrobes. The breakfast was good and there was a selection of pastries, croissants, eggs, yogurt – basically all the stuff that I love to see at the breakfast buffet. But I have to say that I was not very fond of the coffee that was served from the thermos – but we managed to get some good Nespresso (I think) a few times when we asked for this. I also think the staff could have been more attentive to e.g. remove use plates at breakfast, refill juice/water carafes etc. The hotel has a gym and small pool and sauna. We did have plans to use this, but Porto kept us so busy that we never got around to it. The location of the hotel is great as you are in the middle of the pedestrian street Rua das Flores. This is a lively street with artists, shopping, restaurants etc. and was quite busy most day and night. From there it was easy to explore Porto by walking. There is a parking garage not far from the hotel that was convenient – but quite expensive. Conclusion: I would not mind staying at this hotel again and I would recommend it to friends and family. A lovely boutique style hotel with rooms that are a bit small but modern and comfortable. And for us, the location was perfect.

Perfect location just in the heart of Porto! This hotel is beautifully decorated and with very comfortable rooms. They serve a very nice breakfast. But the most important is very friendly staff and they take a great care of you. Highly recommend. Thanks, Pestana Hotel.

Perfect hotel! Location right on the main pedestrian street, wonderful everything! The facilities, linens & amazing pillows, beautiful buffet breakfast, wonderful smell as you walk in the foyer, all lovely. But the BEST part was the amazing staff! They were both warm and professional, helpful and kind. I wish I were back at this hotel right now! Thank you to António, Ricardo, Bárbara, Diana, and the young lady at breakfast. I cannot wait to return!

This new Pousada is in the central, pedestrian part of Porto, 4 minutes on foot from Sao Bento station. The historical building has been tastefully renovated. The young staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are small but comfortable and the bathrooms very nice. The public spaces are undersized so you may have to wait for a breakfast table or a table on the street terrace. The gastro bar food is excellent. Service can be slow because of understaffing. As the young crew gain experience, these issues should be ironed out.

Pousada do Porto is in the perfect location. Wonderful restaurants, important historic sites, and fabulous architecture are within walking distance. High urban energy is everywhere. Street performers keep things entertaining. Historic Train Station, Chapel of Souls, Livara Lello Bookstore, Dom Luis Bridge. Mercado do Bolhao are all close by. Rooms are very nice. Staff is fantastic. Porto streets are VERY steep so be ready for strenuous hikes.

Highly recommended! It is situated right in the heart of Porto, 5 min walk to the Ribeira. The room was very soundproof with almost no sound from the street at all. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The small bottle of port left in the room upon our arrival was a lovely touch and very kind.

What's not to love about this hotel? It is perfectly located to visit Porto and with an easy access to the airport (metro or by car). Very nice and attentive staff, the hotel is beautifully decorated. Our bedroom had the best mattresses and was very quiet. My only regret is that I did not have time to enjoy the swimming pool and the gym. Next time...

Lovely hotel in the heart of Porto's walking district. This is the Portuguese chain similar to Spain's Paradors, unique buildings preserved as hotels. Staff was excellent.

I stayed here with my mother during our Portugal vacation. Great accommodation with a great and friendly staff. The pousada itself looks amazing, the location is great and the service is very good. We enjoyed the beautiful room, breakfast and the terrace outside on a nice busy street. The reception, service staff and cleaning ladies were all very kind and helpful. We recommend staying here!

Excellent service, clean and modern rooms. Polite and friendly staff. Swimming pool was clean and relaxing. Perfect location, central at the historic town. Breakfast was good with many options. The staff prepared a nice surprise for me for my birthday after a little request by my partner. Really cool.

The incredible quality service of the staff knows no equal. They helped with arranging rental car, driver from airport, football match tickets, restaurant tips, fado reservation. Polite, friendly and amazingly customer oriented. Hotel is very central, quiet, new interior. Breakfast is very good. Highly recommended.

Beautiful boutique hotel with great rooms and breakfast. The location is so central to the city you can get everywhere around easily.

How many tiny rooms can you pack into an historic building? Rooms are dark and lack light but massive TVs, not even a decent reading light. You can tell this is run by a monster hotel conglomerate without much attention to individual tastes. Porto is jam packed with much better and affordable boutique options

Great hotel for its class. Customer service was great. The rooms were smaller than the pictures lead one to believe - but not too small. They also did not have hand towels or hair conditioner for the bathrooms.

Excellent stay at Pousada Run das Flores A very warm welcome, not fussy. Great staff at Reception, in the restaurant and in the bar area. Lovely dinner. Very comfortable room. Great location on the Rua das Flores, easy to walk to the river and around the city centre.

Amazing hotel with a very good location, walking distance from all the major heritage places to visit. The room is not too big, but had everything we need to spend a couple of days. Good sleeping quality and the amenities are premium, with bathrobes and slippers. The team, at the breakfast, is very friendly and the quality of the products is good. At the reception, their are equally friendly, and every time we want recommendations or to book something, they promptly helped us and their suggestions. They know very well the city and where to go. We'll come back soon. Thank you!

Fantastic location. The the middle of everything and easy access to the metro. Room has very basic and layout is terrible. Front desk never answers the phone.

This was an excellent place to stay. After a lot of travel delays enroute to Portugal, my wife and I overslept breakfast. The staff was very friendly and said that no one goes without something in the morning. They got us some food even though breakfast was over. The location was great for a self guided walking tour of the city! Wonderful stay with great service. Perfect location. Lovely rooms.
