Starting with the front office: They're rude and unprofessional. The staff themselves behave like doctors and start giving medical advices and prescribes steps of prevention (in fact the person who was doing those things were a front desk employee who claimed as the marketing person of the clinic) We (Me & wife) have visited the place to have an appointment with Dr. Saumyajeet Saha, Cardiologist (the Clinic fixes appointment for other specialists also). The interaction with the Doctor was fine and he has given enough attention and time to the patients. Consultation with the doctor was satisfactory. Then the events turn ugly; the marketing person asked us to approach a particular diagnostic centre, which we refused politely. We found a difference of Rs. 1500+ (after a discount offered by him) from the estimation he sent and the various other diagnostic centres in Howrah!!! We went to one of the best centre which offered immediate services and best of the customer care through their polite behaviour (Which is Bidya Health Diagnostic Centre). They helped us to complete all our evaluation with in a very short period so that we could meet the doctor again next day. The next day, our appointment was at 10.30 AM and we have informed the marketing person in advance about the same. We also sent our report in soft copy to him so that it could be forwarded to the doctor. While, we were on our way to the clinic, he sent a message stating that the the doctor had left the clinic. 1. The clinic has no regular footfall of patients. Therefore, the consultant doctors are not going to spend 1 minute extra. 2. The marketing guy is more interested in getting commission from the diagnostic centres than taking care of the clinic. 3. He has declined us on halfway bcoz we have denied his recommendation. At the end, the villain of this whole episode is: Mr. Sushanta Chatterjee, who claimed himself as the all in all of that clinic. The story is in short: DON'T VISIT THE CLINIC FOR ANYTHING ELSE OTHERTHAN BONE & JOINT ISSUES. Hope Dr Abhijit may take note of our grievances.

My father Mr Anil Kumar Nandi was suffering with severe knee joint pain for almost 16 years. At last we consulted Dr Abhijit Bandyopadhyay at Bone and Joint Clinic Howrah. Total Knee Replacement Surgery both knee was done 15days back and my father is far better with almost no pain. Hello! My wife Papiya was going through a critical arthritis, which is called Rheumatoid arthritis. We went to a number of top notch doctors in Calcutta, but none was able to give her cure to the pain that was caused for her arthritis. I got to know about Dr. Abhijit Bandhopadhay and I took my wife to him for diagnosis. I got pleasing results, the regular pain which my wife use to go regularly is hardly seen these days. We already had an x-ray and were aware that it was a fracture, we had basically gone to him to get a plaster. 1st doubt came in the way he suggested the plaster, he said - il cure it with a plaster without surgery (umm but thats how fractures are cured, and to top it we were already aware its a minor fracture and a month’s plaster is required) Then come his shocking costs - 4500 for POP plaster 😱😱 and this is over and above is consultation fee of 600. We were shocked We actually went to a nearby hospital and got the POP plaster and the total cost, including consultation was not even 2500 More than a doctor he seems like a marketing expert. His whole clinic seemed like a his own marketing. We were well read and aware hence ended up saving. The ones who are not would get scared by just the usage of the word surgery in whatever context and think he God and cure it with just a plaster and be ready to pay anything he asks for. Very disappointing PS. Super Narayana Specialist Hospital is not Government and is way more well maintained than you clinic. The way you reacted to the review only shows your class further.

We consulted him and he explained the entire scenario in as simple way as he can. My mother was only left with the solution of knee replacement. She was then operated on 30th August on both knees- which is one of first case of operating both knees together.
