By the time, you're reading my review you must have gone through lots of reviews - mostly positive. My outlook is positive but experience is not so much. They have overdone their services except the doctors. This is not an airport or a hotel lobby - like in every corner someone is there with a uniform hovering. Help the patients and the parties - maximize your counter support. I understand the unseen note on the private hospitals - if you're rich and won't have any problem to spend an incessant amount of money, You're welcome and those who want better treatment and have money exactly what is required, are not so much welcome. Now, let me give you an example : 1. They charge you a clinic fees - 350/- (One time). So, it's for development, ofcourse. The doctors here mostly charge 1000/- per visit. Also if you go there to report, there is a high possibility that they would charge again. They can't be transparent fully regarding this. 2. Since this is a pandemic time, they would charge you 75/- every time you visit as sanitization fees. Why? Please have an idea - they are taking 75/- from every patient party and sanitization is all that you can see at the gate. And you all probably have seen this at entrance of a mall too. Should the mall charge 75/- too along with your food or any purchase bill? Some of the good things that I have come across - 1. The staff are courteous. 2. The doctors ask you relevant questions and try to help you as much as possible. 3. Customer service desk is quite helpful too. 4. Entire hospital is neat and clean. Note : You're here to treat people in exchange of money, ofcourse but not in exchange of lots of unnecessary money. Thanks!

As far from my experience I can say It is one of the Excellent hospital in Kolkata not only in terms of service as well as for his hospitality too. The important reason you'll love these hospital is that doctor's are so polite And show such a concern for your health that you feel half of your health suffering already disappearing. They will show utmost care and treat you exactly how the patient needs to be treated. The only thing it sucks in terms of price Although it's really an amazing experience!

It's a Multi Speciality hospital in Saltlake, Kolkata. ICU, ITU, Emergency, OTs, Ambulance (Very well equipped), Elevator, Canteen etc. facilities are available here. You will get very good doctors of all fields. They are available in OPD also. Pathology, Radiology, Medicine store, ICICi ATM is also there. My father and Mother was admitted under Dr. Arindam Ganguly who has taken care of everything and successfully replaced Hip ball partially and also implanted Titanium Rod at left leg.

Well-equipped hospital with five star service.Nursing staff is very obliging and skilled. Housekeeping staff is great. The gynaecology department for laproscopic surgery under Dr. Abhinibesh Chatterjee is really good 👍. There is a canteen on the top most floor with good food for the patient - party at a reasonable cost.

Manipal Hospital, earlier named and still referred as Columbia Asia Hospital, is a corporate nursing home in Saltlake. This is situated just beside EZCC. This hospital deals with patients of almost all the streams of modern medicine including emergency and non emergency cases. Well equipped operation theatre facility is available including good ICU and ITU facility. Outdoor patient department is also available with good experts. It has a good food court on 10th floor with good ambience, view and menu.

I was admitted to this hospital on 17th January midnight and our daughter was born on next day. A very very good Hospital for maternity. Thanks to Dr. Abhinibesh Chatterjee and his team for smooth delivery (LSCS) in covid days. The whole hospital is well cleaned and hygenic. We have booked for a suite cabin and my husband was with me throughout the hospital stay. Foods given to me and my husband were very good and delicious. We were discharged in 3 days. Treating doctors, nurses, security, housekeeping, all hospital staffs ... each and everyone is well behaved and have positive attitudes. Had a great experience.

Worst experience ever!!!! I have never seen such a pathetic rude and ill mannered doctor DR Vivek KUMAR . My child was suffering from an acute pain at 1.30 at night and we rushed to the emergency and there this doctor shouts loud and misbehaved saying “yaha natak dekhne aaya hai Kya” shocked to see this unruly behaviour!!!! We always thought doctors are god .. !! Most pathetic experience ever !! After requesting him to be easy on our child during the rtcpr test which was a basic emergency protocol he Rudely says “ don’t teach me how to do my job” Guys .. ths can happen to any of us .. and we are not here to hear ths .. Worst experience ever !!!!

I changed my perspective after having suffered with my father. Literally I used to admire this hospital, it's doctors and everything. But it came out like just another fraud. My father was in this hospital admitted for more than 10 days and he was recovering good. But suddenly I get a call in the midnight and they said that my father's health is failing and that he needs an ventilation in an ICU which they won't be able to provide and asked me to shift him to another hospital at 2am. There was no vacant ICU in any hospital in kolkata, we looked everywhere. Finally he was shifted to a nursing home in park circus, which was in so bad condition that my father literally started crashing from that movement and his health worsened. Columbia asia hospital took around ₹6.18 lacs during my father's stay but left us in the midway of his treatment and showed us the door. Please make sure that you don't get the similar treatment and don't fall in their trap.

I admitted here on 12.05.22 for a micro surgery at my vocal cord to remove polyp over there. Infrastructure is good but at the same time is old. It was earlier known as Colombia Asia Hospital. Doctors and staff are excellent. Service is also very good. Foods served here are healthy and very testy. I would request to the Hospital authority not to add the price for package drinking water with the bill of the patient who is paying more than ten thousand rupees per night for a deluxe room. It looks odd and indiscent. One more suggestion, infrastructure and facilities of a deluxe room that priced more than ten thousand rupees should be more better.

Falsely Diagnosed With Cancer. would like to draw management attention to a recent medical negligence occurred with my father at Manipal Hospital, Salt Lake, Kolkata. He was diagnosed with Respiratory tract infections and admitted into HDU on 16/09/2022 under Dr. Soumya Das, spent over 12 days and was discharged on 27/09/2022 after about 3 lakhs bill. Being one of premier and costliest hospitals in Kolkata, the doctor treatment and cooperation from doctor side was top notch. However one area that clearly warrants management attention and improvement, is the professionalism and responsiveness of the nurses and RMOs. During my father’s stay in the hospital, most of the interactions with the RMOs were not helpful, they were clueless about patient’s health condition and always advised me to get in touch with doctor directly. In my opinion they should have minimum knowledge about the current condition of the patient and the ongoing diagnosis. And the extreme carelessness was observed in the discharge summary on 27/09/2022 stating that he was diagnosed with cancer! When the patient and rest of the family members later saw that, it inflicted lot of anxiety and restlessness among everyone. It did not stop there. When we reported this lapse to Hospital management, they pretended to be casual and least concerned about the mistake they have made. In my next visit when I showed the erroneous discharge summary to someone from the management, he tried to hush it up and issued a new discharge summary with the correct diagnosis and destroyed the original copy. I request you to send a strong message to everyone involved in the process. This was unnecessary and not expected from a prestigious organization such as yours. Also I would like to know what actions you have taken after getting this email. Enclosed are copies of the documents for your reference. Please let me know if you have any questions. Expecting a satisfactory response otherwise I shall take necessary follow up action.

I admitted my sister here in 2012 who passed away in 2013 while admitted in another hospital and subsequently admitted my mother who underwent dialysis, thrice a week, from 2014 to 2022. I have known this hospital since it was owned by the international chain under the name of Columbia Asia and seen it transition when it was acquired by Manipal Group of Hospitals. I will try to provide an honest, unbiased review in the hope that it benefits both, the hospital and its patients. Pros: Extremely clean facility, staff, are all polite and work round the clock to make patients feel comfortable and safe, excellent customer service team, polite management team. Cons: - Lack of investigation in my case for older patient where the line of treatment was aimed to address symptoms rather than investigate underlying causes; - Pressure on family in case of surgery - we felt rushed and were asked to approve 4 surgical procedures over a period of 1 week which was high risk, - Lack of integrity - selected surgeon backed out after meeting the patient, so we were forced to take a second opinion; - Understaffed - a majority of the time the only people manning the floors are nurses and RMOs. Scope for improvement: Practice honesty, integrity, better co-ordination between departments and doctors, please have some full-time, senior physicians on your team, more prompt investigation of health issues, allow families to ask questions rather than perceive it as a hindrance to hospital processes.

Yesterday we visited the place. Doctor appointment was confirm for 4:30 pm, we reached there at 4:15 pm. First at front desk when the reception representative was entering the details for registration, someone came from side and asking something. Suddenly the representative stopped our service and started providing service to him without asking anything to us. Once she is back on our work, I asked her why you did like this. She just said sorry. We felt insulted and humiliated. Then actual doctor visit took place at 7:30 pm, which is 3 hours late! So, i see very poor management and unprofessional staff. If for small thing, this is the service we get, not sure what for serious need.

Clean, well managed but sanitisation charges realised from customes not utilised for proper sanitisation. Some pathological tests done from outside but not disclosed before causing delay and improper reporting.

We had our first baby girl delivered at Columbia Asia under the guidance of Dr. Abhinibesh and Polly Chatterjee. What to say about this hospital. Its awesome in terms of everything. Right from the treatment, facilities, dietecian, nursing, house keeping, pantry and other relevant services, everything was outstanding. I strongly recommend this hospital to all expecting parents and I wish this hospital all the best in their endeavors.

Got my wife admitted for a lapchole surgery in Nov,20. Information: Clear communication. No hidden area. They usually takes booking for rooms with estimation but due to Covid situation room is not a one shot. But they accommodate . Covid care: very much careful even using separate lift. Although there are always some patients companion shows illiterate behaviour. Overall absolutely they are doing there level best. Rooms: The best experience out of Amri , Apollo ,devine ,charnok and Columbia Asia. Very much clean ,maintained . Nursing staff: On this point I will give 200 out of 100. The whole nursing staff is so much caring and all the time with smile and helpful . They take care of the patients privacy during the hard time too. Even the new joiners are doing the best and shows that they like this job and honor that. Their response to patient call was in seconds every time. Even during night Pocket pinch: Bit of in the expensive side but again if anyone is comparing with the service, the price you pay is worth it. Yes the discharge billing is the pain as there is only one counter . That is why the star is one less for the rating. Even important thing is communication. As my wife is foreigner. Other places I felt communication issue which in this hospital was not there. Must recommended when people are suffering with poor health service by health care sector.

Recently I have been to Columbia Asia hospital (Kolkata) for my surgery. I should say the services are up to the mark. Doctors & staffs are really cooperative and caring is their utmost priority. I must say, am really impressed by their cleanliness and hygiene regime, which lack in most of the renowned hospitals. But I was little upset with the accounts/admission dept. due to the less clarity they provided to me initially, in that case I was expecting a crystal clear procedure to be provided to me with all required details. Apart from this, overall I am satisfied specially with the team of doctors, nurses and all related staffs. I would definitely recommend to anyone to go for this hospital.

I recently birthed my first child in this hospital and I must say the staff is really good. Very friendly and hospitable, smooth admission system and of course, the food is excellent (not the bland hospital food that you expect) - people actually take care of your requests here. We also realised they were more or less transparent with the bill - you just have to be patient and read the fine print to understand the billing slabs. I would have given 5 stars but not doing so because of their security team - this was the only team that was extremely ill mannered and would misbehave with our visitors on a regular basis. They lacked basic courtesy and had the audacity to walk around with their nose upturned and scream at the customers and even patients. They may have been contractual staff supplied by third party but not sure about this understanding. This was the only unsavoury experience during my stay, else everything else went absolutely perfect. Would recommend this hospital for sure.

My 5year daughter was admitted to this hospital for 4 days, she got good care 24 hours, all nurses are well trained. Arrangement was very good, maintain hygine. Happy to be there.

In August my mother admitted at that time I was really satisfied with Staffs behaviour, doctors atitude and the way they treated my mother and me(as I was the only person available from family side) but right now ny father is admitted from last 5 days. In last 5 days no one has that minimum time to discuss what is going on. Bill already crossed 2lakh 30, but thats not the problem. Dont you think as a patient family I don't have that minimum right to know what is going on. As a TCS employee I will also let my organisation know what is going on here. And I will definitely not visit here anymore.

The hospital doesn't function like other Manipal hospitals down South. You have to wait for more than an hour with senior citizens for OPD appointments. You go back and ask when is doctor arriving their answer is we are sorry, doctor never informed us that he will be late, how are we supposed to know. Isn't it between hospital and doctor to have that seamless communication? What is the patient supposed to do? Like I mentioned other manipal hospitals down south, you don't receive such answers from hospital / reception staff. If doctor is late, patients are called and informed in advance to plan accordingly. And I have experienced this 3 times now with OPD visits with senior citizens at saltlake manipal. Given the attitude of the staff I doubt this behaviour will change and the functioning of the hospital will get more professional.

This hospital has always been my first pick in Kolkata since 2018. (when I first started the medical care journey of my family). My child was born here (Dr. Ashish Kumar Ghosh), and then my dad had a major femur replacement (Dr. Saumitra Misra), following my father in law’s concussion treatment (Dr. Dipankar Sarkar), and finally my scalp tumour surgery (Dr. Gautam Bhaumik). All these four doctors has been exceptional in their roles and had set examples in their own disciplines. Arnab Jena has been a constant guide (with tremendous dedication) to me in thicks and thins. Saswati had always looked after my mediclaims as a family. All nurses, RMOs, housekeeping, security knows and loves their job in Columbia (that’s what lacks in Kolkata hospitals)As a whole, this hospital is strongly recommended.

I was admitted in the hospital, during admission I had to submit my Aadhar card and health insurance card and admitted directly to ICU, but in the discharge certificate there is no mention of my Aadhar card no. or my health ID card no. or even my address. In the bill these information is also missing. In the discharge certificate there is no detailing of ICU treatment procedure. Even in the hospital signing form, administration do not like to mention of time of ICU treatment. This makes in my harassment to get reimbursement of health insurance. Toilet in HDU is worst.

Worst experience ever. We've showed to Dr Ranbir Choudhary yesterday (18.11.2020), he asked to get COVID test done and then connect via video call. Since yesterday called hospital min 30 times but till now there is no proper response from hospital. Hilarious experience. Suggest no one should ever rely on this hospital at least.

It is a really good Hospital. The doctors are extremely good, friendly and very explanatory in terms of the patient's conditions. The hospital staffs are also very friendly and caring. They do their best to maintain the discipline of the hospital and at the same time accommodate the needs of the patient's family. The management is good as well. They try to take care of any issues that arise while you are visiting the hospital. And the hospital also has high tech equipments for testing. You know that you are in good hands !!

People of this Unit are really so busy that they even Don't bother emergency calls... I Didn't though Columbia Asia have this category of Unit also.... Its not hospital its a shame.

Administrative of the hospital is very bad.I had emergency I was trying to to call but no one receive my call.

Columbia Asia hospital is situated a great place of salt lake and very convenient communication from any where kolkata. Columbia Asia hospital is well equipped with latest technology, quality infrastructure and good doctors. They are available at all times of 27 X 7 to any need of public health. This hospital is well capable of handling any emergencies and providing treatment as per requirement.

My father Mr. B Roychowdhury currently admitted in Columbia Asia Kolkata, is not getting proper care or meals on time - this is totally unacceptable from hospital of such repute. Please look into this matter ASAP - trying to reach on all channels.

What an out of the world medical service provided by each and every staff of hospital under the able guidance of Mr Arindam-GM. My parents became Covid positive and they being old, every child would panic, and so did I. Hospital not just took care of the physical ailment of my parents but also my mental stress. One of the key feature was on-time and frequent communication on the condition of my parents. At every step they said “don’t worry we are there” and this was in true sense, they lived their commitment. Parents are back home and have high praises for the impeccable service standards

I was admitted in the hospital for 6 days.Bed no.702B. The customer care services, nursing services, food, doctors everything was on point. I want to thank each and every person who took care of me and made me feel like home the whole time. The behaviour of all the staffs here are really nice. I am glad to choose this hospital for my treatment. It was totally worth it.

I went in this hospital for vaccination and later I took their home collection service from lab. Both of the process were very smooth. As a senior citizen patient they didn't make me wait for a long time. I just went there and within 10 mints all the process has been done. And their laboratory services were good too. They came on time and received the report via mail also.

Had a nice experience during my wife's hospitalisation for a surgery. All services were very prompt. Very professional approach.Utmost care was taken by the medical staffs. Charges are little high but considering the service and care it's justified.

1. My appointment was at 10am but I was able to meet doctor at 11.45am as doctor was in OT. It was basic courtesy of the hospital staff to inform patients’ beforehand that there will be delay. Hospital needs to pay respect to patients’ time and need to show professionalism. 2. In the X-ray room, when patient was inside, other patients were simply knocking the door and opened it in their own. No one was there to maintain patients’ privacy even though multiple staffs were sitting in the adjacent reception area.

I was admitted over there for c section surgery. In the operation theatre itself anaesthetist Dr Pratyusha Sinha misbehaved with me and shouted at me. She repeated this behaviour atleast 3times in 40 mins during the surgery. The hospital kept my baby in NICU for one day. The doctor told us the baby was absolutely fine and they couldn't find any problem with her. Then what was the need of keeping the baby away from the mother for 1 whole day. Some nursing staffs were not cooperative. During feeding the baby they were not cleaning the utensils properly. In spite of calling them repeatedly they came after 30 mins. My advice to you all please don't choose this hospital for maternity purpose.

Worst hospital anyone can go during emergency. It's a total Business minded hospital. I REPEAT IT'S THE WORST. They try to made up extra billing charges and if you don't have any medical background they will make a fool out of you. Not even in my worst nightmares I would go here again. If they see you alone and with no insurance they will just make fraud bills and ask you to pay as soon as possible. They will do all the unnecessary tests which makes zero sense. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS SHIITY HOSPITAL!

Most third rate hospital, not sure how it has got 4.4 rating in Google. Must have been manipulated reviews. Will give a detailed review on what happened with me in due course for general public to understand and avoid this facility

I am writing this with respect to Eye Checkup. Eye checkup facility is not good. And also cost is also optimal for this kind of checkup. So I never recommend for Eye Checkup. Thank you

I had to undergo a major surgery on 30th January, 2024. My doctor was Dr MMS Zoh whom I am consulting for fifteen years. He is an extremely sincere, caring doctor. The difference from other doctors is that he can boost up you psychologically from a depressed state of mind. He is a good human being too. I feel fortunate to have him as my doctor since I was very well for the last fifteen years from a gynaecological point of view.I wish him the best of luck always. I will recommend patients to consult him as you will feel comfortable during consultation. Apart from this, I must appreciate the care of the nursing department. I stayed there for 48 hours and they were on their toes round the clock. Other doctors were good too. House keeping department gives their best service during my stay.

It is an wonderful experience here espc the service provided by attendants like Bharti and the food served is both healthy and delicious. And the doctors do everything to get u back to normal life as soon as possible.

Got horrible experience today. Our company SPOC Mr Aranya Kundu did an emergency appointment for Dr S Mishra. My husband suddenly felt severe pain in right ankle joint and he couldn't move a bit since more than 24 hrs and walk. The problem was clearly explained to Mr Aranya at the time of booking. He just asked us to reach hospital at 12 pm. Hospital desk staff kept us waiting for more than 2 hours and when I asked them to let us know about the tentative time (as the patient was unable to sit due to his pain), they told us that they don't know how long we need to wait. Every half an HR, whenever we asked the sister how much time will take, sometime she was saying 4-5 patient, after 30 minutes 7-8 patient and after 2 hrs she said another 9 patient. Some other patients are also facing similar mismanagement and casual & careless attitude from OPD team of 1st floor. One patient requested them to allow me as an emergency, but blue and black blazer two ladies clearly said then go to emergency counter in the ground floor and see the doctor there. At the time of billing they never told that as they probably were keen for business! They didn't bother to give any support or cooperation. I felt that the staffs of OPD first floor and Mr. Aranya were ready to allow my husband die but not to cooperate us and the other patients who came to see different doctors. When I called Mr Aranya Kundu (our so called SPOC person of ITC Ltd) started shouting and communicated same thing that they don't have anything to do except kept us waiting till ....( No one knows how long) instead of lending hand of help. We bound to went back home and booked appointment in other hospital for getting immediate support from the SPOC of that hospital and other staffs. We never expected about this type of service from this (so called renowned) hospital. There is no SOP, no decipline and no good feeling to the patient from the entire Manipal Hospital, Salt Lake! Finally they refund the money and let us go without seeing the doctor, the team was so inhuman!!! Shame

Private hospitals can be such money scammers. Today my mum and I went to the hospital as I had a very bad ear pain, they literally shooed us away. It was a very simple treatment, however I was in pain. I hope you'll remember that you guys are built with serve people and patients. You guys take an oath. On the other hand immediately we went to another doctor who was treating patients at home. He took us in at 9PM immediately gave medicines and I feel much better. I am still not perfectly fine but I wanted to write this coz it made me feel is humanity still alive? On one side there are docs who are giving their lives to treat people and this side a hospital like this who has been so expensive has no humanity left. I hope the management reads this and feels ashamed. Your customers are the patients, the least you can do is do your duty. The solemn oat you have taken even if it's for a monetary benefit but atleast do that. Hope you guys get well soon!

It is a really good Hospital. The doctors are good,friendly and very explanatory in terms of the patient's conditions. The hospital staff is friendly and caring. They do their best to maintain the discipline of the hospital,and at the same time,accommodate the needs of the patient's family. The management is good as well. They try to take care of any issues that arise while you are visiting the hospital. And the hospital also has high tech equipments for testing... You know that you are in good hands.

My 89 year old was admitted at Columbia Asia with a fractured neck of femur. She was at the hospital for 5 days. I am grateful to the hospital nurses and attendants for taking very good care. The administration is also very good here. Billing system is transparent with no unnecessary items billed.The hospital is clean and environment is peaceful unlike other hospitals where they do not care about maintaining silence. Very polite staff. Special mention about Dr Ganguly who was extremely patient at the same time successfully performed the operation on an 89 year old.

I had myself operated here in Columbia Asia under Dr. DK Ray. I must say the over all experience was fantastic right from the day I got admitted till the day I got discharged. Colombia Asia Hospital Saltlake runs by Navketan Nursing Homes Pvt Ltd is a top class facility hospital . Located at GD island near Broadway saltlake Kolkata. Staffs are really helpful and cordial , well maintained hygiene. Well connected by bus, taxi and app cab .

Don't have 0 star, otherwise I will give 0 only. My wife got admitted couple of week ago for dehydration, the doctor in emergency asked me to admit her immediately as her body was dehydrate, I listen him and admit her immediately. Within 1 hour they did few tests along with chest x-ray, I really don't know why? I am not a medical student but atleast I have common sense. Whatever they gave her one tablet and glucose along with few pain killer, after 24 hours I didn't see any improvement so asked doctor to change the medicine, finally after 36 hour i asked doctor to release her, and ask for the bill, they gave me a bill of 35000, I was shocked .when I checked the bill I found they charged 4000 as usg 11000 for few blood test which is cost of 1000-1500 in any recognized lab, doctor consultation 4000 for 1 doctor, and other 2 doctor it charged 1000. Room fees 9000. Medicine 4000, non medical expenses 2000. Infact they bill hand gloves, tharmometer, and so so.. I was in shocked for 2 days........?

This hospital is practising all ICMR n WHO mandated protocols to keep us safe in this pandemic. All the staffs and doctors are very supportive. And, food in the Cafe Columbia is also very tasty n hygienic...

I had problem of utraine fibroid and suffering last 1year.15th September 2020 I got operated under Dr Abhinibesh Chatterjee at Colombia Asia.Sir took very much care as well as always helped me whenever I got scared for operation..Very specific about his treatment and most importantly very well behaved also Now I am quite fine .just one month after operation.. The hospital is good, but can be sometimes crowded, I saw Dr. Jayanta Saha in Cardiology....he is excellent, however Dr. Ranbir Choudhury in medicine is not at all good. He almost killed me with his medicine.

The location given is incorrect. Beware while booking a cab the real location and map location is completely different.

My infant was admitted for about 7days. The doctors and the nursing staff are doing their best. House keeping staff are also doing a great job. But the most pathetic work is done by the Cafe . They had provided stale food to my child. Which was smelling so bad. And again one fine day they didn't even bother to check the food before serving a fish bone in the food for the INFANT. This type of service is expected from a renowned hospital. Pathetic service by the cafeteria.

Sanitization was well done. Extremely polite staff. Vaccine was shown to us before being injected. More than satisfied.

Overall Good experience except for twin sharing room experience and their lift maintenance as they converted single room to twin sharing and lifts are poorly maintained. But the good part was that all the nursing staff, treating doctors, customer desk, housekeeping, pantry staff all where very well behaved and courteous. They responded to each query with proper answer as and when required. So will request the hospital management to try and rectify the 2 negative points mentioned. Last but the most important the insurance desk was also very cooperative. They prepared and sent the invoice to my Insurance provider Max bupa with in 45min of intimation and the icing on the cake was Max Bupa service, they reverted back with the final authorization within 50 minutes. That was awesome. And after that Insurance desk played their pivotal role and issued me discharge gate pass in another 20 minutes. So in a nut shell our entire discharge process only took 2hrs from intimation to receiving gate pass.

My wife underwent a surgery here recently. The experience was like being in a hotel or upper end guest house rather than being in a hospital. The quality of the nursing staff is pathetic and they are feigning ignorance of anything being suggested by doctor. I had to get in touch with the doctor directly to sort out things with the nursing team. The hospital staff has no clue about when the doctor will visit, the discharge will be done from the hospital. Again I had to get in touch with the doctor directly on this. The charges are quite high and hardly makes any sense to go for this hospital when you know that other hospitals will offer you better value for money. The food quality is good. Choose your options carefully before visiting the hospital for any critical procedure.

No covid 19 guidelines are getting followed here, people roaming without masks in the hospital corridor. Hospital staff are doing nothing to prevent such behaviour. Queues are not maintained properly no social distancing followed.

The services of this hospital were quite satisfactory apart from the treating Cardiologist under whom my father was admitted. The behavior of the doctor was not found to be satisfactory at all. He has been found rude while in a conversation asking about the health condition of the patient along with the future course of action on the line of treatment.

Clearly Manipal did not read the review. The reception staff was BAD Unfortunately the reception staff was not at all receptive. There were four reception staff members for the orthopaedic department on the 1st floor. Two names that I could read were Srijita and Disha, alongside there were two others and one nurse. I stood at the reception waiting for 5 minutes as all four worked on one computer. Service is lousy. They overload the schedule and you could be waiting for up to 1.5 hours for your consultation. However, it still gets 4 stars because of the Doctor. Dr. Saumitra Mishra was very cordial on the other hand and did all the necessary checks required. His English was also really good so it was easy to explain. He seems to be thorough and that's what is the most important at a hospital. *Photos are not allowed in the hospital

Our experience here was great! My patient was in utmost care and the treatment and food given were beyond amazing. We had major complaints regarding the sisters who were doing the night shift as my mother was not taken care of, however when we complained, this was immediately taken care of. My mother was under Dr. Dipankar Sarkar who was referred to us by Dr. Rana Serbjeet Singh (our acquaintance). Dr. Dipankar's is such a humble person and we are more than satisfied by his treatment towards our patient. The facilities are good here. appointment related communications are well managed. But at times due to system issues there are delays in the center, which gets frustrating because of unnecessary wait. Also the existing representatives need to be more attentive and focused than discussing other stuffs.
