However, in recent past nearly all Child Care Departments and corresponding Doctors are readily available. Also now MRI facility is also available. For Neonatal, Pediatric and Pediatric Care Neonatal ICU, ITU, Cardiac Unit, Gastro, Neuro, Nephro, Ortho, Allergy & Asthma, Dermatology, Chest, ENT departments are active in this institution. Nurses, Aya's, and Staffs are qualified and sympathetic towards patients. Obstetric and Gynecology department is also available here. For child care Mothers are allowed to stay with their child 24 hourly. There are few Chemist Shops just opposite to this hospital. A Canteen is available for patient parties and it is economical. Compared to other Child Care Institution Institute of Child is far far better in both for proper effective treatment and monetarily. It is much economical compared to any Nursing Home for children. Please note that they accept Sasthya Sathi Card.

Doctor's are very good, but some nurses behaviour are very ruf. Junior Doctors are very helpful. Nurses are needed to be more serious, careful and helpful about their job's.

Also the staffs and doctors are pretty good in their attitude, reading the attitude and relationship there is no issue. You can come any time but it will be better whenever you come in this Institute of child health hospital before that you have taken appointment for better facility otherwise it may take time because of the high number of patients. So, you can come here for care of your children, because it is meant for children speciality. I think here all necessary high quality medical instruments are there for better care. My nephew went there for dengue treatment, from the 1st day , they were trying to scare us by saying that he needed an ICU. After admitting him to hospital, they did not stop but kept murmuring to take him to another hospital where ICU is available and we were afraid all the time. After not getting hope from them, Then we moved to Chittoranjan hospital and there they mentioned no ICU is required and he is now in good condition in Cittoranjan. Even they tried to force us to take the patient any where else. This is totally inhuman and not a doctor behabior. I gave 2 stars as they did initial treatment.

I visited them in emergency yesterday.its a dirty place. I saw all junior doctors writing prescription and consulting with each other about symptoms. For my 11 months baby they were just busy writing some medications and did not bother to even tell me what they are, even they didn't take measure of fever for which I visited them. when I asked what r the tests that u r recommending he became angry. The worst part was doctors were flirting with each other. And too many came inside the room just to chat neglecting patients. They have least idea to treat children, they just experiment. If anyone knows where to report such medical negligence please let me know. This is true picture of ich. All other good reviews are goof. Please do not visit them.

Very unsatisfied, they are charging huge amounts like others corporate hospital. most of the times RMOs are attending the patient. The nursing staffs and security staffs behaviors with the patient party are very bad.The management is very poor, they are using the name as a trust hospital but poor people never get any relief from the hospital bill. Never attend the hospital. They never informed the patient party regarding the patient treatment plan, they admitted any patient without doing any covid test. Very Un highgenic conditions.

We went there for treatment of my baby. Some doctor and staff's behaviour are good, gave time for baby,check several times for critical health condition etc but behaviour of some staff's are very very rude,even security personnel seating beside MRI test unit and near the exit gate are worst according to rude behaviour. Went next day for doing MRI of my child.The good thing is they gave us slot without prior appointment and checking the health status of little one before and after the MRI very carefully. Some good Doctor seating inside are very serious about their patients and maintain professional ethics. Staffs seating inside MRI unit are always giving you rude and harsh behaviour, at 1st told us not to awake the baby then came to awake a 1year old baby very rudely. Unnecessary delay and long waiting time without so much crowd on that day. waiting area are full of dust and dirty place, cats and dogs are roaming around freely.cleaning might be done once in a blue moon.Also cost of the Tests are not less if you comparing with other private healthcare set-up.

If any body want his/her child to be used as a experiment material by the trainee doctor in the name of treatment should refer this hospital..worst experience no proper treatment...trainee doctor and staff behavior are very rude..and those senior doctors who visit in their private hospital give proper attention over there and same doctors when come here are least bother.. because they don't get that much of money for the treatment over here..it's all about business..God bless them

Very very very good for suffering children. Very good doctors visit this place. You can get better doctors and medical facilities in reasonable price. The diagnostic department can do several tests including MRI. Few tests need to be done from outside diagnostic centres. There are General beds, ac beds and ac cabin too in case of admitting your child. A waiting room is made for patient parties. Room is also available for families whose child is admitted.

A dengue affected 3 year toddler was the victim causing death. If the hospital cannot deal with the case of a common disease of Dengue, god save those who rely on this hospital for more severe cases especially when the hospital boasts of child speciality unit !!

Recently I had done my aunt knee MRI. From their MRI unit. The receptionist man & women behaviour is worst. He did not response any query. Their report delivery time is 5 pm to 6 pm. But they take more than 1.5 hours to delivery the report. The worst service charges are almost same from other hospitals & pathologists centre.

I go there for my sister son 5 years age on 12/11/2023 at 12 : 30 AM for dayariya, emergency doctors are available at hole night and they are good Doctors, but one of assistance are not know how to behaved and talk to patient party. One of the worst child hospital that I experienced in Kolkata wrt my nephew treatment.The nurses and staff are unprofessional and emotionless.They never knew that how to take blood from child for his blood test.Because I have that cloth which soaked all the bloods erupted by his hand.After this I shifted my nephew to other hospital on same day.Hence I can't recommend to anyone to give his/ her child on risky hand.If someone would get hurt by my view,for those I am sorry.But my above written words is true and correct.

its near to my house, most of the time I visit if my baby is sick, therefore I will write my experience of positive and negative issue related to this hospital. positive: # reasonable cost (outdoor visit cost from RS. 100 to 300 ). # have chairs to sit in waiting area. have most of all necessary equipment and tools which required for handling patient. # Doctors in outdoor are experienced and also sits in private hospitals such as AMRI etc. # this also u should refer coz this hospitals concentrate specially for babies and childrens. # cost for staying admit to this hospital reasonable n lower than most of other hospital ( around from 600 to 1500 rupees per day). Negative: # waiting time to visit in outdoor can take half hour to 2 hours. # there is always crowd. # if gets admit your patient, its little time taking to get bed (general and cabin room). # senior doctor visit only day time and give very less time for patient around 1 minute. # most of time only trainee doctor handling. # nurse and sisters are really awesome, they give quite a less time to patient, even you call them they will visit you only after 3 call. if baby is admitted in hospital with mother they won't help in holding ur baby if mother want to go toilets or helping them feeding.

This hospital doing experiment lab testing of children. For stomach pain and gas problem of age 5year child 7 days already passed on testing experiments ( TB test/ various blood test /xray/ucg) but still no issue found in report. they are just doing lab experiment and without any solution doing business to earn more and more money. This hospital is specifically for child. Many good doctors visit this place. I went there for MRI of my son. Cost was 7000/-. MRI unit has latest machine. It was clean. There is a canteen with reasonable rate. But choice is less. There is almost no car parking inside complex. You have to park your car on the roadside. During busy time it's hard to find a good place. Moreover my experience was good. Behaviour of staffs seems good to me.
