I had no opportunity to stay here earlier. So I had no idea about the quality of its services. Now after spending 10 days for treatment and recovery I am of the opinion that it is the best in its class. Cost is reasonable and a fraction of what private hospitals would charge. Superb cabins, nurses and support staff plus excellent doctors. Run by monks of the Ramkrishna Mission it exudes love. What it lacks in polish is more than offset by sincerity, care and genuine concern for the patients.All in a pleasant experience.

I was admitted at the Ramkrishna Mission Seva Pratisthan from 3rd June to 12 June, 2021, due to to Covid19. I was inside a non ICU covid ward. The hospital staffs including the sisters are extremely good, affectionate and caring. Many many thanks to all of them for helping me to recover in just 10 days. The two days were for completing the remdesivir,other steroid courses & for observation. Normal food is provided to all patients, thrice a day beginning with a breakfast with banana, egg, bread and cucumbers for those having doses of insulin. The staffs are strict not to provide any food which increases sugar level for covid patients. Food is normal, with eggs twice. You may not get extra eggs, if you ask as those are bought per patient. Nurses visit the ward before /after every meal with prescriptions to specify which are the medicines one must take. This place is perfect for getting oneself cured, from any diseases. The entire institution is operated by Ramkrishna Mission and the plenty of doctors are Maharajas. Very good to see that a simple institution providing good care to all patients. No need of any five star hotel like hospitals, which ultimately loots and kills patients. This place is very cheap, since it's entirely under the Mission but a bit costly from the government hospitals, as they include the costs of necessary tests in the bill. In gov hospitals, one has to buy medicines and other tests but less costly though. And rest assured no doctors persuade patient parties to be admitted into ICU, unless needed. Thank you once again to all sisters and doctors for your much needed attention. Ramkrishna Mission is actively serving the humanity! I didn’t had any work in the hospital per se, went to Main Office. The staff there is quite helpful and courteous. I presume that speaks in itself about the hospital’s work ethics. There are a lot many patients everywhere in the premises but I felt that there is a level of order amongst the chaos. Patients and attendants weren’t anxious, which usually happens when we have to wait. I sincerely hope everyone stays fit, but this hospital can be a good choice in case of need.

Hospital staffs are trying to keep the hospital premises clean and safe always that make me pretty good. Outdoor, OT, diagnostic centre and medicine shop are all available in there. The services provided by them are average but good. On Sunday, only the outdoor patient dept. is closed. A canteen is in there. You can take food i.e. meal, snacks etc. but they don't allow eating food from outside.

Known as Sishu Mangal Hospital also. Great doctor and stuffs. Very clean place. Nice service and have many helping hands. Get all this with very less price. Will get good guidance. Moreover this is a very great place where you will get at all at in one place.

One of the premier institute and hospital near hazrat,kolkata which offers cardiac , surgery gynaecology and obstetrics medical services to the people of kolkata and surrounding neighbourhood . Charges are minimal and doctors are well qualified and helpful . OPD for all branches starts at 6-7 am for registration and for indoor patients registration counter is present . However it is very painful to see rude and unhelpful nature of some nurses senior and junior alike . They don't perform there duties linked to doctors visit in patient ward and even discharge of patient is delayed due to their negligence ! One don't expect these inside this hospital . Previously this hospital was known for promoting normal deliveries in pregnent females but now a days many c-section cases are seen . Major draw back is only females 4 month pregnent is allowed to get registered here and rest is refused ! Hope management will look into this negligence of nurses and doctor patient coordination issue soon !

My experience in this Hospital Pregnancy/Maternity ward Under Dr Goutam Giri(careless doctor with some useless junior doctors) First they tell do lots of tests, examination only from their diagonestic centre there is huge of crowd.And USG,ECG room's workers are the worst they all were laughing everytime and did not take any care of patients it is the most worst place of RKMSP. When they(junior doctors of Goutam Giri) tell that they will do normal delivery at the time of admission (before completing pregnancy period they always admit patients before time) they(junior /assistant doctor of Goutam Giri) only put your patient in labour room for 1-2 days and during this time Dr Goutam Giri did not even come to see their labour patient. Dr Goutam Giri's junior doctors at labour room used mobile phones and laughing without helping the patient in labour room. At last they informed patient party immediate C-section is needed and do C-section delivery. and you cannot even meet your patient without visiting hour very disappointing system of RKMSP. hospital food is a waste full of water mixed in everything. They call anytime patient party and tell stop your all work and come hospital and there hospital you only have to wait in ground actually there is no need of yours because you cannot even see your patient. very very disappointing service from RKMSP. Total cost in C-section delivery is 35000(raw)+25000(tests and medicine+ vehicle driver cost+ newborn baby any problem cost. Dr.Goutam Giri is very careless doctor & his junior doctors and any other doctors in RKMSP are better than him.

Most thoughtless Nursing Home. Every human nature is very bad. They work less cheat more, the day when Maharaj comes, he remembers a lot of work, I warn you in advance not to admit patients here. Here insiders are served first then outsiders, Those who work here think of themselves as something bigger than government employees, even if the salary is low, their attitude is like this, I also warn you that I cannot tell you how many reasons there are behind giving one star. I am mentioning one person whose name is Manoj Chowdhury, he is a man of very dirty nature, Abusing women as a hospital employee and from inside the hospital premises, I wish I could have media on that day but due to my patient's very serious condition I could not do that but I warn you. If you admit your own patients to this hospital, you know you're in for trouble, for this, I am warning you again and again, do not forget to admit the patient to this hospital. I am saying that there is no similarity with Sri Ramakrishna. Now it's a base for bad guys. Now think about what you will do. Thank you.

Most pathetic place. All of their staffs and even junior doctors behave so rudely. No proper management and they will treat you like a beggar as you have gone there for free treatment

My experience with this hospital is average.I mainly went for some requirement purpose.Their behaviour is good.

My wife was admitted there for 2 times--- for uterine biopsy and hysterectomy surgery.. Female ward is very neat and clean, disciplined, fully AC. We were astonished to see AC in female ward which had only Rs.400 bed fare (September 2021)... Doctors are also very skilled and good. Overall the experience was very good. Swasthya sathi card was allowed on the time of hysterectomy surgery and we,the patient party paid the rest of the amount. My wife stayed all total 23 days in 2 times in the hospital and her experience was quite nice. Nurses are also very caring. Decent meals are provided to patients by the hospital.

This is very special hospital for me, since I myself and my daughter both born on this hospital. It's previous name was Sishu Mangal Hospital. Still general public call it in that name. You can consult a number of doctors from different department in OPD with just Rs 20 ticket. Both OPD and Indoor Patients facilities are managed very professionally by the Ram Krishna Mission Maharajs.

Referred for to many tests. Reference to other departments is pain. Bad behaviour specifically from the staffs from counters/reception/table. Worse guidance. Trainees are “I know all” types. You are lucky enough if you get a good trainee/ staff at the lab for blood collection, mostly get some ice. Restrictions all but information not at all. The most clean and tidy hospital i have ever seen. Maharajs for every department are very helpful and concerned if you can appear before them. Cost of lab tests are nominal.

The use of doctors and nurses in your hospital is very bad .... and your staff. The quality of food of the patients is very low. Take extra money but don't give good service. Please stop doing that.

Dr. Debojit khanra under Dr. Tanmoy Chatterjee ( cardiologist) very bad behavior to patient and patients guardian. My experience overall good.

There is no signal post infront of the before entrance or any TP.. You guys have to inform TO YOUR HIGHER MANAGEMENT

Incompetent nurse staffs & doctors. In case of serious situation their incompetence & negligence kills the patient. Like poor quality of physiotherapy team in the evening led to my mother's cardiac arrest & death on 24th March 2023 evening.

One of the best hospital in the heart of Kolkata. Top notch doctors are attached to this hospital, proper treatment is done here and bill is very much patient friendly.

A place you can get doctor's advice and prescription with just INR 20/- in 2021. First one has to buy a 20-/ ticket for the patient then according to the OPD department you have to make the card. and wait for your turn. Usually it is a crowded place. tickets are available from morning 8.00A.M to 10.00A.M

Worst worst place to go if u want to go there for any critical case or emergency. Most of the times the doctors don't understand the case properly and they make matter worse and more critical and will then advice u to shift the patient in critical condition to another hospital. Also want to bring to all of your attention is the absolute pathetic rude behaviour of the staffs, lift persons and the women working in the reception. They haress the patient family to no end in the name of rules and regulation. Had the worst experience of my life over there. Pls don't go there if u wanna save your loved ones life and not get harrased sameltaneuosly. The maharajas(monks) over there are also of no help and think of themselves as real maharajas.

The doctors are so generous and humble😊the system is so good where everyone is served equally....charges are nominal by gods grace....but a bit disappointed with other staffs,a bit rude...as if they are the honour ....but overall..we hoipoloi are served well...

One of the best hospitals in Kolkata but few know about this . The doctors are very calm on nature and the service is very good.I'm totally satisfied with the hospitality.

Worst place. All staffs are suffering mentally disorder. I had to come here for last 4 months but I don't get any solution. They only provide the dates and each and every day prescribed for different tests. And most irritating part is that doctor only checkup 10 new petient. If any new petient come 1st then he/she have to wait for last old petient. If any person come for check up then the whole day will spoil. And don't get any solution in system so if he/she connected with any kind of job then the job will hone. Too much rediculios ..

Clean And Clear... Well maintained.. staff's behaviour is too polite... Nurses are too much to care for our patient.... Doctors are visiting 2 or three times a day.. and at the end of the day they must visit the patient's family... Swasthya Sathi Card accepted.. which is too much help for me. Thank You ❤️.

This is a very good hospital. It is so clean and great. The environment and hospital services here is too good, medicine price of hospital's shop is so less, that anyone can buy. The food canteen is also clean, and the food price is also less (But the food quality is not so good).

Very systematic, good service, eminent attending doctors & nurses with very caring attitude, low to medium budget treatment for the service of mankind. Pathology, radiology dept. with medicine store all under one roof providing comparatively low cost diagnosis facility.

Extremely reliable hospital at affordable cost. Veteran doctors and good facilities available. Test results are accurate and surgical patients are kept under good surveillance. One have to visit this hospital with much time in hand because it is mostly crowded..

Very bad experience, staffs and workers and even doctors, they are not working for us, they are working for money only. They DO NOT care whatever happens to you. Bad behaviour, rudeness, and what not. Most of the people working there do not deserve their work, they are not devoted to their work. A doctor's or hospital staff's main purpose is to guide the patients, not to talk like their duty is this much and they dont know anything further, even if we die they dont know anything and dont care. Horrible, god knows how these people eat from the money they earn out of our pain and sorrows.

Pathetic indoor treatment procedure. They have old rules and regulations. Behavior or sisters are very rude. However, Doctors are very good. Except Doctors, nothing can be said good.

Great care , especially the economically challenged people are highly beneficial. The OPD cost is Rs 20/-. Nedd to be in que as the OPD counter starts at 8:00 am. The doctors are good & system as well. Malpractice is never being heard about.

Though private hosp, but mainatance and nursing and all doctors are very efficient, though at present, they are not accepting the Swasthya Sathi card and also mediclaim

Very bad behavior of reception & cash counter staffs. Emergency department staffs are very rude. We have not received proper feedback on my patient conditions & diagnosis was not upto the mark. Expectations were high but actually picture was different

I had a very bad experience at this hospital. I'm not saying all are bad but some member behavior is very bad especially one Maharaj who sits in attendance office of members. I went there for a job But what is the point of his shouting and talking Where a Maharaj is so calm of nature . However I didn't have a very good experience.

I am impressed by the excellent service, the unbelievably good and courteous manners. Above all, Tagore's Sevashram is relentlessly serving the people. "Jiva Service in Shiva Knowledge" - Ramakrishna Mission Math and Shishu Mangal Hospital are the best examples.
