My dad was admitted in AMRI Dhakuria on 16.09.2021, with chest and severe blood related problems under Dr Suranjan Mukherjee (Consultant Pulmonologist) and Dr Jasashwi Chakroborty (Consultant Haematologist). The treatment was wonderful under their care, with lot of positive vibes which acted very positively towards the patient. Doctors are very kind, confident, knowledgeable, ethical and they responded each time we needed to know the findings, which was very supportive. I strongly recommend these doctors. visited today to take the covid vaccine. shocked to see that they are putting people in the reception area which is not ventilated at all. more than 100 people were waiting in a suffocated space. Astonishing to see a healthcare facility which looks so good with glass window and tiled floor but missing any window or air ventilation arrangements, forget about AC. I couldn't believe that the space doesn't have any AC. People died suffocating in this hospital couple of years ago but the hospital is stobborn enough to not to learn from mistakes or maintaining any market standard of designing a healthcare facility. AMRI should stop vaccination and any kind of activities in that space until proper ventilation is not ensured.

0 Stars - I called them up for booking an appointment for Dr. PK Hazra (Cardiologist). The doctor was very rude to my aunt and sister. He threw away all reports and Rx from his table to the ground. Didn’t answer any questions, didn’t talk to us, didn’t explain what was wrong with the patient. He hardly spent 2 minutes, leaving us with confusion. Really upset with this kind of behavior from renowned doctor. He was extremely overconfident. We told him the list of medicine patient was taking suggested by cardiologist, neurologist, DNB (General Medicine) doctor and was not getting results, he just gave substitute medicine from different brand.

Currently the front side is under renovation. Faced some inconvenience as they are allowing to enter only 1 member with the patient for OPD. My only request is please arrange some seats for the patient party inside/outside OPD building so they don't have to stand outside the building. Also faced some inconvenience during billing. Apart from these the Gastro department is good.

I have admitted my father in this hospital on 29.08.20. My father had chest pain and breathing problem because he was a heart patient but doctor kept him in isolation ward and didn't allow us to meet, talk & see to the patient and within 36 hours they charged Rs 123000 bill and when we released him from hospital he had no improvement and on the the same date I have lost my father. And after 6 days of my father's death, my grandfather is expired because of father's death shock. This hospital is not for the middle class and poor family. They are doing only business. Never choose this hospital in critical situation. Money making hospital. I relative admitted to the hospital with neuropathy problem and was not covid positive at that time and after treatment the patient was completely fine ready to go home. But they didn't told us that the hospital was full with covid positive from doctors to nurses. They did Corona test and she was found positive and then they put her in ventilation for 8 days. Not informing us what is going on. Just showing bill everyday. Then after 8 days on ventilation they suggested us to go for plasma treatment. Then they confirmed the donor from hospital but they are delaying the process. As we told them our donor was ready they didn't allow donor from outside. Such critical situation they started giving the plasma at 7 pm which was scheduled at 10 am. Next day they told us patient was in coma and after sometime they told us she was no more. In the end they prepared a bill of 8 lakhs without giving any information l through out the process. Go for other hospitals even in a critical situation.

Emergency is best in AMRI Dhakuria in entire South Kolkata. A Bit expensive but treatment is fantastic. Doctors are good. I visited there on an emergency they quickly reacted & started the treatment RMO over there is a gentlemen. The immediate treatment that patients require they deliver it.

I had gall bladder operation here on 6-4-22. While I was taken to OT from the emergency building to the main building there was no umbrella. I had to bare the scorching heat. The same must be happening with all patients. When I was half way a security person came running with umbrella scolding the other staff that no patients should be brought for OT and back without umbrella. But the same happened even after the operation was done and I was taken back to the bed no. 3105 in the emergency building. VERY POOR. SERVICE The visiting doctors seems to be too busy. They don’t spare even half a minute to each patients. DOCTORS NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE MENTALITY OF THE PATIENTS.

Good hospital which cures patients with good service. All types of doctors are present. There are about 40 different department in OPD units. I went to see gastrointestinal specialist Dr. Kaushik Chaterjee , he cured me within 4 months duration. There is also diagonistics service available inside the hospital. Only flaw is that the charges for different tests are preety high. Opd doctor fees ranges from 600 to 2000. First time registration charges of Rs 150 extra. Need to first collect coupons of different timings like 9-12, 12-3, 3-6 and then wait for ours coupon number to appear on led TV for billing.

very expensive hospital, patients relatives are behaved roughly, they are not allowed to see the patient in case of exigency. out side sitting arrangement is not there, so pathetic for the relative to keep waiting for the patient. they should see the hospital administration in south india and learn how to treat with patient as well as escorting people. Admn are requested to see all the review and reply properly and change the system, if required.

Stuff here are very helpful. My mother is getting treated under Dr Kaushik Dutta, who is an excellent doctor. Only issue I face is waiting, my mom is 80, it's very difficult for her to spend the whole day here in a wheelchair. It would be very helpful if there's a special speedy service for geriatric persons.

AMRI Hospital is one of the best multispeciality private hospitals in Kolkata, located near Golpark, Dhakuria. Adequate seating arrangement at the receiption area. Excellently hygenically maintained. Sri Radha Krishna idol installed at reception hall is fabulous. I was admitted here for treatment of pneumonia and infection. I got very good experience of the hospital.They render exellent servises to their patients. Nice team of experienced doctors, well-trained nursing staffs are very polite, caring and helpful. They are the real assets of the institution apart from the latest modern medical equipments. They have two more units at Kolkata and one in Bhubneswar. I was admitted under Dr. S.K.Todi, he is a senior most experienced doctor & very soft spoken.

Good reservation system, good doctors. But waiting time is unbelievably lengthy for consultation to report generation. Would take one's whole day just to followup and taking tests. They generate invoices online that's a nice thing.

This is to write a review regarding this hospital being pushed to an edge. I've visited this place for my mother's knee injury. Taken appointment for 2:30 pm on Saturday and reached hospital at 2:10 pm. The staffs are hell of a rude talkers asking you to take token and bill first. Once you're done with that they won't tell you anything about when or how doctor will pursue you for check up. The system can be tiring; however, the staffs help you get through this. But the attitude and their behaviour was a really horrific to begin with. But I must say amongst all these one sweeper helped me get through all these guiding me in every step. His behaviour was amazing regardless of his job entitlement and he did everything for which he wasn't recruited.

I was with the Department of Radiation Oncology at AMRI Hospital, Dhakuria, recently for forty days and happily finished the radiation treatment there. I must say that the arrangements and facilities available there are good, and above all, the people there for the benefit of the patients are extremely competent. Attendants and sisters are always there with a smiling face for any help. The technologists in the radiation room are very efficient for their job (this is how I feel, because of my poor knowledge about the technology to judge the matter), and I must say that their efficiency helped me a lot to complete the strenuous forty-day period of radiation smoothly. They always satisfied my curiosity about the technology behind them. Finally, the front desk. The ladies there are obviously professional, but at the same time, they are very helpful and amiable in every respect. I will always particularly remember their help with a financial matter in my case. Now about the doctors. In the school days, everyone experienced some very strict teachers who were obviously not our favorites. But in later years, we realized that those strict teachers played a very important role in shaping our lives. The doctors there remind me of those golden school days. In the radiation room, ‘Elekta Synergy’, one of the most advanced linear accelerator machines, is there for external beam radiation therapy (the attached photograph of the machine is from the internet). Most radiation therapy machines use high-intensity photon beams to kill cancer cells. X-rays are also photon beams, but they are of lower energy. Dr Sumanta Chatterjee Cardiology Department is Good and Staff behaviour is good. Service was Excellent. But Hospitals do not have a large catering facility due to which eating and drinking is very problematic. If the patient is admitted, the patient party has to stay in the hospital all day with small meals and it is not possible to run the whole day, so it is very good if the hospital has food facilities. Dr Avijit Bhattacharya is Good and Staff Service was Excellent.

I admitted my sister under spine surgeon Nirmal Kumar jagjodia and forgot the name of pulmonology I think Santanu "intentionally don't want to add Dr. or Sir for them , both together cheated me around 60k mostly pulmonology one And their management is worse in durgapur only know how to snatch money from patients. Initially they asked 30000 deposit to start surgery right after 4 hrs called me to deposit more 10k early mrning or else they wil not start surgery. In this way they have taken 60k. Without proper treatment. Pulmonogy one I wil never recommed to any1 ignore these money eaters my dear patients . When I went to Vellore with my sister for her spine treatment there docs stopped all medicines and given medicine of rs 300 only and now c is good and pulmonogy one of misson hospital was giving medicine of 5k monthly. Just imagine what kind of medical practitioner they are . Nirmal Gagjodia says MRI cannot de done as my sister doesn't know L4L5 is of nickel or steel. Very rude behaviour. Doctor does not listen to the patient at all and assistant was equally rude. We visited with our friend who has having kidney stone to the urology department. Doctor prescribed a lot of tests without even listening that those tests were done 2 days back and then the assistant very rudely asked to go without giving any time. Then on pursuing again she made changes in the prescribed tests. On asking why she did not listen in the first place in the presence of doctor she behaved more rudely. If doctor is scared not to even to listen to patient even for 2-3 minutes I do not know why management is paying attention to this. The charges are also high and all you get is rude behaviour.

The most important thing is that this hospital is not only built for human society but is running this business. This incident has passed with me, the thing is in 2018 when my elder sister had to admit here, we came with sister didi on the first day. He did not have to stay home to suffer and the staff was telling us to go out as if he had spent the night. In the morning he started taking room for rent, one day he called us in the office for some work and there A lady staff who was talking among themselves that the party has arrived, where are you coming soon. The word party hurt me a lot. My sister was suffering from thyroid gland which caused little difficulty in walking. And the use of the word party by the employee here made me sad. Treatment was run for a month. A thin pipe was inserted around the neck, the doctors said that this pipe will remain for a lifetime. We said let's get well but nothing like that happened. Treatment costed seven and a half lakhs Didi was brought home by Hamsab after a few months, she died forever due to a big wound in the throat. Bring it. It is a very expensive hospital, patients treat their relatives badly.

The team of cardio is very nice and is extremely helpful got every type of help I expected and the guidance is prompt and on point. The team is also very friendly and along with professionalism.

I had been admitted in the Annex building Room 2223 were I found the staff nurses and other staffs were very cordial and attended the patients properly. However the security in the single occupancy cabin came 3-4times to tell the visitors even if there was one to vacate the room as the time is up. It is not only disturbing but also insulting when a patient occupied a single room and there is only a single visitor not disturbing other inhouse patients. please take of this matter othererwise overall service including the food though vegetarian were good enough

My go to place for every health issue, the doctors here are aware of answering in a clear and concise manner. I am continuing the post-op journey after spinal surgery and glad to receive pragmatic advice by the specialist and his assistants. Also, the hospital is amazingly equipped with advanced treatment facilities offering patients MIS surgical options helping in faster recovery. Worth visiting the unit! Highly recommended.

A compact and good service hospital. Its an old hospital and in almost busy city area, so there is some space crunch for parking and food stalls, but the doctor and staffs are enough in count. There are many visiting doctors who only comes at night, visiting them is tough. In house doctors and staffs are caring and helpful. ICCU nurses and medical technical people are bit busy on their own world, they needs to be asked multiple times for anything. But at general ward, the nurses and other staffs are tremendously helpful and always smiling while caring the patients. Billing section and admission procedure is a bit lengthy, one have to visit billing , emergency, admission counters multiple times carrying the papers, which increases the wait time. But the supervisor at the billing section works very fast. Hope every front office executive works that efficiently. AC is missing at most of the waiting areas outside ward area which makes suffocating and hot. Sometimes the toilet areas are also not cleaned properly. Over all its a 3.5 out of 5.

Hospital management is very good and helpful. They have handled my father with utmost care. The behaviour of everybody is very polite and courteous. The appointment, test booking and other processes are very systematic and efficient. In every step we were guided by the staff. At the end of the visit, they explained the prescriptions and medications very well to us.

Today(17.11.2021) I went for whole body health check up at AMRI, Dhakuria, West Bengal. Before billing, I was assured by one OPD coordinator that all the tests and consultations would be completed on the same day as I have firstly made my inability to come on the next day for any tests and consultations. But once the tests started, no one was guiding/supporting us to take any tests/consultation and by the time we completed all tests, it has already become 5.30 p.m. and no report could be made available. At every section, there was a lack of coordination and huge non response and delay. The concerned doctors also have already left. The hospital staffs asked us to come and collect the reports after 2 days. How come working professionals from other districts can come for 2 days just for whole body health check up? No report is available even in AMRI online till now(10.45 p.m.) or in App. If the tests are not possible on a day, that could have well been communicated to us even before billing and we could have opted for some other hospitals. The tests also were not briefed before billing. After billing, they have told I should come with a relative for TMT test. There was no briefing regarding COVID test before billing. No one was following up about our whereabouts as it is not possible for us to fix appointments with all doctors at one go. Had it been told to me before, I would have avoided paying the amount of Rs. 6400 for that test. Very bad service

Visited the gastro dept. Dr. Gautam Das is very professional. Staff is professional and polite as well. But the contact numbers are never available and when it's possible to connect the call is seldom picked up. Apart from that fact, everything else is satisfactory. Edit: Gastro dept is available for contact. Ms/Mrs. Suparna at the service desk is very helpful and polite by nature.

Excellent experience with AMRI Hospitals, Dhakuria. I went there for laser treatment for stone removal. It was an outpatient procedure, the surgeon and his team were amazingly cooperative & supportive and he explained everything before surgery. Getting treated under such amazing facilities and an experienced doctor was undeniably a big relief!

My granddad was a cancer patient and had suffered for quite a long time. To be more precise it was over 10 years. Sadly, he passed away and is no more however, I just wanted to thank this hospital as their service was so good. Thanks. Appreciate it much!

I was admitted on 28.5.22 and was discharged on 1.6.22 for gall stone operation . My room no was 2218. I am really thankful to the nursing in charge and all the nursing staffs for the excellant support they have provided me for 24 hours during my stay.Even the floor manager, cleaning staff and the food beverage staff including the dietician were extremely cooperative. Last but not the least my special thanks to Dr. Tanmoy Mukherjee and his team and Dr. Debottam Bandyopadhyay for thieir continuous support and cooperation. Really appreciate the team work.. Overall experience is nice. The staffs are cooperative and supportive. The sisters took good care of my parents during their stay from 05.08.2021 to 07.08.2021. Infrastructure is also good. I am satisfied with the Hospital. I have given 4 star rating as 1 star has been reserved for improvement to avoid complacency.

This Hoapital is at Dhakuria just under the flyover. 8-10 mins walking distance from Gariahat. There are some good doctors attached with AMRI Dhakuria. In cardio Department Dr.Prakash Kumar Hazra and Dr.Sumanta Chatterjee are the best. They are having well equipped cath lans and most important part is that they.accept West Bengal Government's Swasta sathi. Apart from Cardio they are having some good Drs in Ortho and neuro too.

Hospital management is very good and helpful. They have handled my father with utmost care. The behaviour of everybody is very polite and courteous. The appointment, test booking and other processes are very systematic and efficient. In every step we were guided by the staff. At the end of the visit, they explained the prescriptions and medications very well to us. My father had to be carried around in wheelchair for his outpatient appointment and there was always an attendant present to carry him around. Moreover when we were outside the building, another attendant was present with a huge umbrella to protect him from the scorching sun. The hospital premises is very clean and well kept and gives a good feeling, something which I believe does half the job of curing a patient. There is adequate seating space for patient and relatives.

We as the patient party are completely satisfied with the hospital services. Specially Dr. R. N Bhattacharya is no less than God for us.And the hospital staffs ( Sanchita Ma'am, Piyali Ma'am, Krishanu Sir, Sayantani Ma'am) and Anindita(nurse) are so humble and willing to help. We are very happy and delighted by their behavior and an important mention the hospital premises is very clean and tidy and sanitized in regular interval. Overall we are completely satisfied with everything . :-)

I went to get my RT PCR Test done today..at the Lab prior to testing i offered to show my Adhar Card and Vaccination details BUT these were waved away by the attending AMRI Staff member who took my Swab sample.. Subsequently in the ICMR report a link of which came on my registered Mobile number The Vaccination column showed I WAS NOT vaccinated which is NOT TRUE..It was the Lazy casual attitude of the staff member conducting the Test that gave the wrong information to ICMR. AMRI Dhakuria should be reported to the Authorities for their utterly casual approach in reporting and Testing of COVID outside set procedures

Clean and well sanitised place. I went there for my covid jabs. The process was smooth and the staff was very helpful.

I visit this hospital alongwith my younger sister for better treatment of her health but I wrongly book an appointment of doctor and I consulted with the doctor she referred me to another doctor in that case get appointment from that doctor was very tough but special thanks goes to Debjani Mam who arranged an appointment for us on urgent basis and also thaks to Dr. Abhra Chandra Chowdhury Sir for his valueable consultation.

All the doctors & team members of the hospital are extremely courteous. They took utmost care of my daughter after her minor limb surgery. We have not experienced any problem either at admission or discharge, the procedure was seamless and quick. Kudos to the professional team for maintaining such high standards of medical care.

Nursing staffs were all found very much sincere dedicated and services oriented. Overall good services. Special thanks to Respected Dr Sk Todi a renowned and veteran Sr Doctor for his so kindness and supportive behavior and treatment. He is of the Best Doctor of the region I have come across. My sincere high regards to him and his team🙏

The staff and Dr. R.N Bhattacharya were all very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. R.N Bhattacharya really took his time to explain the conditions and treatment options. My family and I had a great visit and the doctor’s and all the staffs demeanor has really put us at ease.

Bed no 1416,shabana khatoon My mother was admitted under Dr Amitabha ghosh, no doubt he is a wonderful doctor. The administration is very good, from admission counter, floor manager and sister are really good. Special mention to pampa, priyanka and ishika madam, floor manager sreyosi and krishan, sister sreelekha took really good care of my mother. I am really satisfied with the service Gastro Dept service is good

Bed No 3126 Dr Nirup Datta sir is really awesome alongwith all the services provided and staff and supervisors, floor coordinator, nurses, housekeeping, security,food everything is great. I am very much happy and satisfied. All the management staffs are really great and caring. Best multi speciality hospital. All sister in charge and Nursing Superintendent and annex 2 first floor all staff are very caring and loving.

Bed No:1423 We are Bangladeshi. Me and my father Ranjan kumar Biswas visited Dr. Amitabha sir at Amri Hospital, Dhakuria in Bharat. He is a very kind hearted man and a very good surgeon. My father had hernia, he took me to Amri hospital last 28/12/23 English date. Dad's operation was done. Today he met sir and cut the stitches. And he allowed us to return to our country. As long as my father was under the supervision of Dr. Amitabha Ghosh sir, he used to call us and inquire about us. We are very happy. Except we have Dr.Amal Krishna Sinha sir in Amri hospital, he is a diabetes doctor. He is also a very good doctor. The staff of this hospital is very good. Especially, everyone including Astomita mam, Sunita mam was very caring. Amri, Dhakuria hospital is very good. Dr. Amitabha Ghosh Sir, I am not telling the truth, if Dr. is God, then I will say Amitabh sir and God. He was completely discharged from the hospital today, stay well Amri, may all my family stay well.
