πŸ‘πŸ‘ I had my wife's surgery done here. This hospital is very well managed and equipped with modern amenities. Staff are very helpful and caring. Not extremely overpriced. So all in all a pretty good facility to get treated. I will surely recommend them and Hope they continue to maintain their good work... I have been visited for my 2nd Dose of Covishield. They were maintaining the necessary protocols and the place has quite hygienic. Huge waiting space near the reception. Good medical infrastructure with good doctors and spacious rooms for patients. Even I also visited here for my son's vaccine.

I went there to see an ent doc Poulasthya ghosh, who is awesome btw.. the hospital is kinda clean and staffs aren't that bad... Receptionists are rude and full of weirdo attitude but the service is kinda well. The pharmaceutical department won't give you any discount but if you make a card then you willget 10 percent off on blood tests... Other things are quite okay-ish. There's a facility of taxi just infront of the hospital and the location is just on the road so ut quite accessible as well.

The Hospital is situated in a very strategic Location exactly at Tollygunj Phari. Can be accessed through 02 Gates - One from Deshpran Sasmal Road and One from Tollygunj Circular Road. The Hospital is NABH Certified and quite a good no.of Visiting Consultant/Doctor is tied-up with this hospital. This hospital is also having Covid treatment facility but limited beds at ICCU. Rest sorts of major treatments is treated here. Centrally Air-Conditioned Visitors Lobby with a fair clean and hygienic hospital may be said. Cost of ICCU bed and treatment is quite on the higher side and people with Media-Claim facility or with good cash reserve are advised to admit patient. Cost is quite high in this hospital. 24 Hours Emergency facility is available.

I delivered my baby in October, 2021, the management is extremely bad, the nurses and staffs are not properly trained and get irritated if you ask them anything more than once. The reason you should avoid RSV for your delivery is they do not have a separate room for the newborns they just keep them open in the corridor that is used by hundreds of people every day, they will not tell you this at the time of admission. Moreover they will charge you for the baby cot 4K/day for this?????? They should be punished!!!!!! If you have budget for RSV 90K for 4 days, kindly stretch it a little for better hospitals like AMRI etc.

Good Hospital. It has many good doctors of several departments. Hospital area is very neat and clean. Staffs are well behaved. Very small car parking. No place to park patients car or visitors car. Canteen is well maintained. Foods are also healthy and good. Less spicy and good for patients.

I went yesterday with my daughter being injured at late evening. The guy (Sanjit/Sanjiv) over there refused arrogantly that no doctor is available. Later went to another hospital where she was given 3 stitches by the doctor. The way that guy at RSV refused as if they had to give favor than service. If there would have been 0 rating option, then I would have given that.

Everything seems fine with the hospital but charging a parking fees is something out of the world, people come to hospital for treatment and not for recreation, I didn't like the parking fees.

Had my twin daughters recently at RSV. My wife stayed for 5 days. The overall experience was really good. Staff behavior was very warm. Admission to discharge process was smooth. Only suggestion is RSV should go in for a larger car parking area.

Worst patient service ever. The staff are extremely uncooperative, ill-behaved, inhumane, blind-eyed and deaf-eared to your problems and physical condition, not at all empathetic. If you are extremely ill please don't come to this place as you would not get right treatment on right time. You cannot expect slightest of help or humanity from their staff.

Doctors in the OPD may be nice and profesional while on the other hand nurses and other staff (group d and other) are definitely not of appropriate behaviour. Please use the washrooms at your own risk as the staff may just ask you clean directly or indirectly, nurses on the other hand are too busy to shift call on one another. The only up side to the hospital is the few good doctors in the OPD list.

Bad experience Doctors are under the pressure from.the Hospital to keep the patient as long as possible.Β  My mother in law who is 94 years old was not looked after properly- hygiene, grooming etc. We have brought her back, home so that she gets better care at homeΒ  than the hospital. She looks like a scrawny chicken. Absolutely emaciated. Before releasing her they didn't even clean her.Β  This is one of horror stories of KolkataΒ  hospitals which everyone outside Kolkata has heard about. In the name of humanitarian work, you guys have opened a money minting machine. Your ethical values are gone for a toss. Ashamed to be a Bangali.

Overall it is a very good hospital. My wife was admitted in the hospital under Dr. Poushali Sanyal for delivery of our baby. From admission to discharge the process was smooth. The hospital management and reception staff were helpful. The nursing staffs, sisters and attendants were experienced in patient care and well behaved. Hospital food was especially nice and hygienic. Days after discharge they also called to check if the mother and baby are Ok. Good medical service is provided at a decent cost.

If you want your patient and the whole family to suffer and plunge into severe depression, only then this is the place where you should admit someone. I'll be very specific about the multitude of problems that i personally had to face here. 1. The people at the reception will show zero cooperation. They are downright rude and insensitive. They hardly know how to help the patient family and nicely camouflage their ignorance with arrogance. 2. The doctor who treated my mother didn't even bother entering her cabin. He would stand at the door and communicate with the sisters. He never cared enough to ask the patient how she was feeling. 3. The sisters are pathetic. They would not change bedsheets for days even when those were soiled with food spill. After ringing the bell continuously, they would hardly come and check onyo the patient. Once my mother was served some soup which had become cold. On requesting to reheat it, they said "Either eat this, or throw it." Imagine the sheer audacity! 4. They will harrass the patient family massively. They will call at midnight to ask if they should continue the medicines because the discharge formality has been done (please note, clear conversation regarding this was already done the previous evening). 5. The cabin that they gave my mother was a little bigger than a standard size toilet. It was suffocating, dingy and terrible. It had only one window which was of course as small as a toilet window and was placed at the back of the bed and hence completely inaccessible to the patient. They will make a hefty bill for this disgusting service! Overall, this is a pathetic place. It's a sorry excuse for a hospital and should probably be shut down completely.

Overall good experience on our four days journey of maternity. Had been initially allotted single cabin but on request we were shifted to delux room, nurse and resident doctors were good enough. Nurses were attentive during night stay except of few hiccups here and there which happens pretty much everywhere. Delux room was good cozy and almost all the associate services were good. Didn't visit OPD so I don't have any idea of the quality of availability of OPD doctors. Also had a very little interaction with labs or imaging services. So my review is just for surgery and recovery period stay at hospital of which the experience is good enough to recommend.

My experience in rsv hospital is very bad. I would like to mention two nurses and one doctor in particular. They misbehave with patients. Not only with me but also with my new born baby. As I was worried and asked if my baby was fine, the doctor (collected blood) and two nurses Moumita and Papiya started misbehaving with me. My baby was not taken care of properly and Moumita nurse was insisting the junior nurse named Papia to do the same. Moreover, Maumita had fever and headache and she came to work with that. My baby could have been infected. I as a mother and as a patient want their nursing registration to be cancelled. What happened to me and my baby should not happen to anyone else. Moumita and Papiya - you all beware of these two.

Horrible experience! Avoid this hospital at all costs if the patient is old and needs life saving treatment. The ICU is nothing like one would expect - there are 5 beds, and no proper hygiene is maintained by the nurses while handling the patients. My grandfather (88 years) was admitted to the ICU due to mild pneumonia, but he had other complications as well. He acquired nosocomial pneumonia ( hospital acquired pneumonia) during his ICU stay because the nurses did not follow the correct protocols while switching patients. He passed away 7 days later due to sepsis and renal failure. The doctors are very pessimistic - they won’t suggest the treatment until it is too late. They have teamed up with the hospital to extract the largest amount possible.

Hospital is neat and clean but house keeping for patients to change bed sheet and to give uniform for patients not done regularly. They didn't inform us about discharge timing and when new admission came management pushed us to leave the bed immediately and wait at reception with out changing dress for patient. They told we can leave the hospital with RSV dress by depositing security money for dress.

This is not a hospital it's an expensive nursing home go here only if you know what the problem is (like broken leg/arm) . My mother got admitted under Dr. Gautam sarkar, who although diagnosed the hernia did not take quick action nor inform us that immediate surgery is required and that the hospital does not have adequate support (ventilator, cath lab) to carry out the operation. The delay of four days cost is 70k in hospital bills and zero treatment. The doctor did not even have courtesy to meet us and inform of progress I could not even get his phone number, each time I had to beg the receptionist to call him. I must thank the surgeon Dr.Debarchan for being very clear that this surgery is not possible at RSV. We received zero help with shifting the patient and had to run to each and every hospital to find a bed finally got into AMRI. Even transport ambulance we had to arrange. Avoid this hospital at all costs.

Very bad experience. I have just delivered my baby over there. There child and mother care is very very bad unsatisfactory. The nurses and the attentendants are so reluctant that they almost forgot that they are dealing with new borns and ceaserion patients. They get irritated if you call them more than once. Very much inattentive . Dosent maintain proper hygine. The bedclothes remain same for three to four days. They only change them when you asked them to change. The day I got admitted they gave me a gown which was supposed to be neat and clean but instead it was stinking , there was holes all over it, The strings were missing at the back of the dress which I complained and then they gave me a proper dress. I mean what kind of a treatment is this? Child care is soo bad. Dosent give diapers to the baby. Instead wrapped them with mollysheet which caused irritation and rashesh on my babies skin. At night the nurses and the attentendants chitchat so loudly that you can't sleep properly. And if you complain they don't bother. This is so irritating and unprofessional. The management should be very careful. The only thing that is good is they provide good quality food. Please improve your treatment.

From my perspective, this is one of the best hospital in Kolkata. The services, facilities, and behaviour of every staffs are excellent. You will feel homely environment inside this hospital for sure. This is also one of the most hygienic hospital I visited in Kolkata. The nurses are very caring and supportive. The house staffs are also very supportive and caring and will do everything for you like taking you the washroom, feed you timely etc. (only for surgery and critical patients). Also, the pantry foods that is being provided to the patients are very very healthy and tasty too, which is very rare to see in hospitals now-a-days. Moreover, RSV hospital has very professional and best inhouse doctors. My wife's treating doctor was Dr. Sumana Ghoshal, one of the best OBS Gynecologist in Kolkata. She is very friendly, co-operative, supportive, and always think from patient's perspective. Her hands on experience in surgery is so much extensive. I am so satisfied and fortunate that I took this decision to treat my wife under Dr. Sumana Ghoshal mam. Overall I can say, don't think twice in case you need medical help or treatment. Just go to RSV hospital. In case you need gynecological treatment of fertility consultation, please close your eyes and go to Dr. Sumana Ghoshal Mam. Thanks!!

I recently had the experience of my wife being admitted to RSV HOSPITAL for a Cesarean delivery under the care of Dr. K.P. Biswas. The operating team included Dr. K.P. Biswas (Gynecological Surgeon), Dr. Pradhan, Dr. Ashok Das (Anesthetists), Dr. Lokesh Pande (Pediatrician), and Dr. Nurmahammad SK (Unani and OT Assistant), along with two other OT sisters and an additional OT assistant. This team was truly exceptional, especially Dr. K.P. Biswas, who is an outstanding doctor. Dr. Lokesh Pande's expertise in newborn care was highly impressive. The post-OT treatment and the care provided by the ward sisters and RMOs exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for. However, there was one negative aspect that stood out. RSV HOSPITAL did not offer a fixed package for the Cesarean section (LSCS). We found that other hospitals, like CMRI, had all-inclusive packages for LSCS at a significantly lower cost under Rs 90000/- with all inclusive & For well baby care Rs 5000/- extra. RSV charged us Rs 115,000 for the mother's treatment and an additional Rs 11,000 for the baby. The charges seemed a bit high compared to other multi-specialty hospitals in the vicinity. On a positive note, the reception services were helpful and kind, but there was one incident that shocked us. We requested permission for one person to be present outside the OT room before the patient was taken in. Unfortunately, a management person responded with a bad attitude initially, stating that (JODI HOSPITAL ER RULES MANTE NA PAREN PATIENTS AKHANE ANAR KI DORKAR CHILO BARTEI OPERATION KORE NITE PARTEN) After a discussion, he eventually apologized. Such behavior is unexpected from a reputed hospital. Another concern was the lack of parking facilities for patients' parties. Even in emergency situations, the security personnel asked us to keep our patients waiting and park our car outside the hospital, which was inconvenient and unacceptable. Overall, the hospital's services, doctors, and nurses are excellent. Dr. K.P. Biswas and Dr. Lokesh Pande deserve a 10-star rating for their outstanding care.

The reception staff on the 1st floor is incompetent and irresponsible, they have no regard for any patient's discomfort or any inconveniences whatsoever. The facilities might not be half bad but their way of handling patients and their needs is at the bottom of the list of priorities for them. Also, very easily irritated with the less fortunate people who come for tests. Worst experience ever.

This is to inform that the hospital took revisit charges everytime for opd consultation against same patients. In other hospitals as far as I know take registration fee one time / sometimes for a year but this is really unacceptable. After this depriving experience I has shifted to other hospitals where I get transparency in billing with better services. Kindly clear things pertaining to billing components prior consultation else you will be disappointed/deprived like me. This is really not acceptable I wish I could give negative rating.

Very poor management between the admission reception & the ward or cabin(where patient is admitted to). My mother (a cardiac patient) was admitted here at 12.30 pm, she was not given any lunch nor did they inform us to manage any food for her. Thereafter, she was given puffed rice(muri) at 3.30pm & was advising her to take 6 cardiac high power medicines at once, after having only puffed rice. While admission she was taken to the ward in a wheelchair, but unfortunately was left stranded at the ward room, no bed was allocated to her, until the admission form was completely filled up, why take her to the ward then!! And too much arrongance in the nurses, they don't even know how to provide hospitality but are working in a hospital. What an irony, sirji!!

Can't say about other things but the main criteria we expect from a hospital is about the treatment which is undoubtedly top notch with a very very reasonable rate . Heartiest thanks to the team of doctors at RSV for their dedicated service and giving a patient hearing of patient's problems and our enquiries . Lastly a great thanks to all the employees of RSV for their kind help and service .

A decent hospital. I was admitted last month for a scheduled c-section. Experience was what you’d expect. The food quality & service was excellent. Nurses & staff are okayish. The billing procedure is extremely smooth even with insurance involved. Overall an unproblematic experience.
