I went there for COVID vaccination. It was well managed.

Hospital is pretty clean but the service is very poor and unethical. Nurses don't care and treat their patients improperly. My patient expired due to pure negligence, she caught fever and nobody checked that and as a result she had to pass away. Also the death certificate given was improper, there were errors in multiple fields which we had to change and because of which we to face a lot of harassment. She was in ward 25.

My friend is currently admitted in this hospital and she is being treated very poorly. She is admitted because her hemoglobin level dropped and she needs to get blood. The people who works in that ward no 7 are very bad in behavior, as she is a brain tb pateint, she cant move on her own because of her condition and she has an eating schedule to follow everyday so her mother is staying with her to help her. These people are literally tormenting a patient and her mom. Every 5min some or the other is coming and giving lecture about the way they should stay, eat, sleep etc. Even though her mother has taken permission from the senior doctor about her stay still the masi and nurses are disturbing her every min to leave the room for no reason. Every single people in that room are after thier lives. According to me a patient should be treated with care and politeness so that she/he can recorver well. I think this is the worst hospital in W/B kolkata, I recommend not to admit an emergency or super ill patient who needs a family member to stay with them. As far as I can see the masi here doesnt take good care of the patient even after getting good amount of money for their help ad if you reject to take their help they will totally ignore the patient even if the patient call for help. I have visited so many hospitals till date due to her health but this one is the worst out of all. The old Bangur Hospital has a fair service but the superspeciality hospital is worst. The behavior of the senior doctors and nurses are good but junior doctors are very bad and they will smoke or have fun at the rooms near the patients. I was highly impressed by the facilities n staffing services...first ever experienced a well hygienic n clean govt hospital.

They have a patient helpline which updates patients present parameters once a day. Doctors are very cordial and meets patient family members individually around 12.30-1pm everyday. Once a day there is a video calling facility with the patient in the evening with their families.

Excellent place for COVID hospitalisations and any other health problem. Exceptional food service to any admitted patient. Very caring.

Lack of Nursing staff and helpers . the rooms are not at all well ventilated . Disorganised , no proper bedsheet and pillow and blankets provided . No proper trolly man . People seek help by going to a hospital but here in people will fall even more sick getting admitted here . Its adviced that there should be a proper organised system in a place where people go to seek help rather than making it a garbage and a living hell .

Surprising and shocked. Have taken one of my neighbour to this Hospital. He is 73 years old person diagnosed with full heart blockge and advised the pacemaker immediately. After ECG and other checkups from New Building the person got admitted and referred to the old building. We had to book an ambulance from outside of the Hospital to transfer the patient to the next old building. They said Hospital ambulance not available presently, actually it is all planned and part of the syndicate. When we took the patient to the old building the doctors told me that " we can't do anything here as we don't have the Cardiology department here and we should shift patient immediately as it's very critical". We were so surprised to here this and shocked also. If the Hospital doesn't have the Cardiology then why the hell they are taking admission of a patient with full heart blockge and needs pacemaker. Thanks to God even after wasting our wholeday since 12 in the afternoon we finally could shift the patient to another Hospital in the late evening of 24/12/23 and the patient survived with the temporary pacemaker and finally got operated with the pacemaker on 26/12/23. MR Bangur has misguided and could have killed the patient if not taken out from there signing the Bond. Very surprising and shocking experience
