Bathroom is well maintained and has shower .RO water purifier is also installed .There is canteen in the campus with price starting from 40 ₹ fot veg/egg and 60₹ for chicken . Location is very good .

Very good for seafarers. It's just 150 for officers. In a room 5 bed they will provide pillow, bedsheet, mosquito net. Rooms are cleaned everyday. It is 100% worth for 150 rupees. But try to book before you come here sometimes you will not find rooms. Overall best and you will find good food nearby and hoon maritime is very near from here. Currently in renovation so you can find more better after few months. You will find canteen also in this place where food is very cheap.

In the heart of kolkata, navik griha Or seaman's hostel (for crew) is situated very near to Govt of India mint (taksal) kolkata. Navik griha is very easy to reach. As it is situated at diamond harbour road, so metro train, bus, or cab services are available. 3- prominent marine coleges sei education trust, hoon maritime and sensea maritime institutions are in same vicinity (within maximum 5km distance from navik griha). Preferably, navik grita must be a good choice for short stay. It is a bit of pocket Friendly, so it is a good option during short duration courses. Due to it's multiple advantages most of the time there is no vacant place to stay. So i strongly recommend before arrival confirm availability of bed by telephone. Thanks for reading my views. For new experience one must explore it by self.

It was a good place to stay for sailors working in merchant Navy with their CDC book. This is compulsory to be produced while checking in and 1000 rupees advance if for more days..
