It was formed in the year of 2002 with the name of ITME(Institute of technology and Marine engineering).It was known with a name of NITMAS(Neotia institute of technology management and science) in between 2008 and 2015 after it became a university.Now It is an accommodation of a university that is The neotia University which was formed in the year of 2015.Before 2019 it was an accommodation for Marine engineering cadets but now it is accommodation for the first year students.

Food quality is decent..... Snacks quality is very bad ... Rooms are good enough

Completely destroyed my hostel life. The worst quality food ever had. Lots of sleepless nights, not because of memory but because of no electricity and lack of proper ventilation. Windows if opened for fresh air, getting smoke instead. Internet facility is worst and even mobile network is not available. Stuck because of need, suffering for choice.

Best Marine hostel I ever seen...there was maintain there discipline ...so you can stay here it's for student....the food was really good .. everyone think that ... hostel food was bad...but here not...you can eat a time...for your enquiry

Good and well decorate faculty .food is good.veg and non veg both are available but you will pay money if you want to eat non veg.yes, this is very sad condition for us but it is also true that veg food is very nice and extremely delicious.

Extremely cheap quality and limited quantity of food available here. Bathrooms are not cleaned regularly. Rooms are extremely squeezed type. Within 12*8 room two students have to survive !!!! The internet facility is so much awesome that if we need to see a 5min 720p video then we need to wait 1hour to complete the whole!!! The 'namkin' water of hostel 7 is unbelievable .That which if you want to cook any salty dishes then you just have to give a few drops of the water. The salty water is the reason of my continuous hair fall. But last not the least the electricity connection is upto the mark 👍 Because in the night if we switch on the light it automatically continues to blink !!!! No, it's not any ghost or something it's the talent of the hostel 7(ex). I charge my electronic fan (in summer days) so that I can atleast sleep well in night.

2010-2014. So many memories. Ground floor and first floor was completed on mid 2010. The last 2 floors completed on 2011 end.
