Do your research as much as possible. I went there for admission but the admission fees was beyond my imagination. Before take admission do your research properly. In my opinion college is too expensive, lack of management (check news you will find out), faculty is comparatively weaker than they show. Overall thanks to god who show me the reality. Placements: Placements are quite good. Mostly, IT companies recruit the students. Core companies are less in number for recruitment. IT companies like TCS, Deloitte, etc. come here for placements offering a job package of 4-5 lacs per annum. Since the mechanical department has been started from 2012, so a little less recruitment for the mechanical department. But in 2016, from the first passing batch, 36 out of 120 students got placed in TCS. Infrastructure: The whole campus consists of 3 phases i.e. the old building, the new building and the university building. Wi-Fi is available in all the 3 phases. All the classrooms in the old building and the university building are equipped with AC and are also having smart boards too. The medical facility is unavailable. A cafeteria is there inside the campus. There are two libraries, one for the old and the new building and the second for the university building. One small-sized football ground is there inside the campus. The quality of labs is a little bit poor. Faculty: The faculty team is good. The college is having a good ratio between faculty and students. Industry exposure is provided in the 3rd year of the course. This college teaches engineering in civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, instrumentation, computer science, it & food technology. It also has bba, bca, mba, mca & media science courses Benifits of the college:1) Infrastructure of our college is good.There is a library which contains so many varities of book.2) Labs are well equiped. So many apparatus are there3) Faculties are really good. So many teachers are there to teach us.Disadvantages of the college:1) There is no play ground in our college for out door games. No facility to play indoor games2) 5 storage building , but no lift is there.Admistration of this college is terribly poor. The people there are very rude & are not at all helpful.Extra curricularThe events which are organised in the name of extra curricular are worthless. They doesnt appeal to the other non participating students as audience. PlacementNot good for placement at all & not too many companies visit the campus. They will promise you to give multiple offers but you have to get away with one or two offer.

And even they are screaming and forcing to pay the semester fees.... But techno charged extra 50 thousand from her....but my best friend's marks is above average level.... There is no way of charging extra from her... Even me and my bestie have scored same marks in 12th ...techno charged 65,000 from me but they took 50,000 extra from my bestie. My bestie wrote a application and even tried to contact faculty members and visited chingrighata techno addmission office.......techno staff members have behaved so rudely with my bestie's parents Huge scam is going please be careful guys...

These college will harass you in the name of semester fees and exam fees .they dont care about students they only know how make money. In 1st year they will pretend honest people but when you get in 2nd year they will show there true colors .and They dont have hostel. Education is a Business!! And Techno India "UNIVERSITY" has proving it right. When you will come to admission, they will show you why TIU is best Asian University (According to them) using their advertising, but nothing resides on ground reality. They take admission on the name of Techno India College (Situated just behind University) but failed to provide the infrastructure, discipline and learning opportunities. When you will ask about placement, they will show you the record of Techno India Group and mislead you. If you are getting admission in Techno India College (Not University), you can go ahead, that's a reputable institute. But I won't suggest to invest your money in University.

Good private college in the city with good faculty. I have been here for past 5 years. I did my BCA and MCA from here. And i must say the HOD of our department, Dr. Anil Bikash Chowdhury is the most knowledgeable person i have ever seen in my life. I love this university. This is my second home. They offer a great number of courses . They also offer specialization courses too. All the departments have their own cultural meet and apart from that they also have their annual cultural program - Sahotsava. They have freshers too. Overall its a good university with good facilities. Atleast my department has the best faculties.

Good institute but their employees need to know how to behave with students of competitive exam. There was a NPCC exam in january,2017. at the admit card there was written that they will not allow digital watch but their employees didn't even allow analog watch. There were hundreds of student who came from other state but no locker or not any place to keep their bag or valuables. Exam hall was well organised but their arrangement towards competitive exam students is pathetic.I didn't went with mobile but I had to call my friend to take my wallet coz they were not allowing wallet too. Okay.... But belts???? Even they told me to took of my belt if I want to the exam hall. There was no information about that you can't go inside with belt but they make this rule by force. I had to attain exam so I was forced to do whatever they said. Please improve the arrangement for competitive exam students.

JUST READ IT BEFORE U SPOIL UR LIFE...!!! Techno India University is NOT affiliated to MAKAUT. It's a Pvt College as all other techno India group institutions, but even though techno Main is affiliated to MAKAUT. MAXIMUM people is confused between techno Main and techno India University. So unfortunately many of the students take admission into techno India University although they wanted to get into "techno mains". I have done extensive research on this techno India University and visited it with a candidate who has mistakenly paid in WBJEE COUNSELING. Inspite of all rules and regulations of WBJEE, this techno India University denied to cancel seat allotment for refund which according to WBJEE should be done immidietly if candidate doesn't want admission. Not only that every people working here is bound to misbehave as they suffer from tremendous pressure from management to manage students at any cost. Now I meet several students who had already completed their BTECH from this hell and were waiting to get their registration card which should have been given to them in their very first year. They informed me that their important documents and testimonials are kept bound in the institution so that they cannot flee after first year. A fourth year BTech student, who got into this hell through sports quota cried speaking his suffering. I also talked to many students smoking in the campus, in classes etc and all they just spoken that it's a place for "sutta" meaning smoking. It was bad to see that these unfortunate people would add into unemployed youth of the country. Came to know that ragging is very common and some notorious scandals in past were associated with this institution. One word of advice : better to do any degree course in any good NIRF ranked colleges.

This university is the worst possible private university. They promise placement for students but students lose placement immediately after 2 or 3 months. There is no regularity of classes. Studying here is a total wastage of money. The owners of this business group like Gautam, Satyam and Meghdut have no PhD degrees. They prefer to admit students from rural areas who don't have much knowledge about this university. Be aware. You may lose your money if you get admitted here.

I got admission in this college via wbjee counseling. Though it is overall a good college, there is always one or another strike going on. Date - 22/11 - A nice strike is going on and Students who are here to study are told to get out and join the strike. But still it is a nice college. I love this college as it's my college. I am a student of B tech ( Electronics and communication Engineering) dept. Classrooms are large and good and obviously well maintained. Awesome infrastructure. Faculties are good. Labs are well. And it's a good college to read engineering.

People should know - 1) They pay their employees handsomely, so no matter what you say, they'll always act like a boss instead of a faculty or teacher. 2) If you're a student here (sad), then you must forget about yourself and start doing something for the college. 3) If you're a student who came only to study and make your life, no matter how much you pay or have paid, you'll need to clear extra dues in the name of late fine when you've completed the course and need the degree. 4) Never go to the Library. It's a must, these anti-ragging committee members are very keen towards ragging themselves, I myself saw a girl who was called inside the library and about 15 male and 3 female teachers were taunting her for saying that she didn't issue 1 book. She was ready to pay or get a new book but the Library head (you'll know who that is) wanted to insult her while she was sipping coffee & me + 3 other people were waiting in line. 5) Don't trust the faculty, they're fraud and will only help you if they see benifit. Otherwise they'll deny your result even, without hesitation.

Best college in Asia. No class cancellation and no online classes after covid. All the teachers are very helpful and kind . Seniors are the best in the world. They never ragged us and never forced us to give any kind of fare. The management system is top notch and the exam system is best . Placement is going to be the best also in the upcoming year. The best thing is only meritorious students can take admission no matter if you have money or not. Money is nothing here. The lab and the theory class are so regular here. The library is also very big and the reading room is also available 24 × 7 for us. Quite nice for a Uni, the campus area is moderately spacious, Providing with a small play ground and a football field in the middle, with a pool to the left and buildings surrounded where classes and seminars are held The seminar hall is huge and air conditioned. They also have elevator to reach different levels of the building.
