This cafe is a small one in the heart of Southern Avenue. Just beside Vivekananda park. The location is very convenient to reach and among the cafes present nearby, it is the most affordable one. The ambience is small and well decorated with 1 AC and 1 non AC room for smoking. There are also 2 tables near the entrance from where you can view the entire street. Coming to the food. Its price range is affordable and the pizza we tasted was not bad. Could have been softer. But was good overall. The service was fine as well. And they accept all modes of payment. So don't be afraid to go cashless. Overall I would give this cafe- 3.8/5

This place is situated at Lake Road, near Vivekananda Road. You can go through Southern Avenue to reach easily. Nearby metro station is Kalighat, but have to walk around 13-15 mins. The interior of the cafe is pretty and the overall ambience is cosy! The price range of the items is also very affordable. Coming to food, it's not that good. You'll get different items from the menu, but overall the food is so-so. We ordered Salt and Pepper Chicken from the starters, which was more or less good. In the main course, we had Chicken Fried Rice, Pork Noodles, Oyster Chicken and Chilli Chicken Dry. The noodles was not upto the mark to be honest, it did not have good portion and the quality of the pork was not good either. But the Chicken items were better with respect to the other ones. Apart from that, the service was very poor. No spoons or forks were provided at first, which was strange! Even, if we needed anything we had to call out to them and we got it after some time! Overall not so recommended place. You'll find a whole bunch of cafes and eateries around that place, so try the other ones!

Food was really good in quality and quantity.. We have ordered egg chowmin, chilli fish, chicken sraugenof, milk tea, honey lemon ginger tea and fresh lime soda..

I’ll recommend this cafe for those who want to spend time and their focus is not on the food actually. That doesn’t mean food is not good. Absolutely value for money but the noodles I ordered was not up to the mark. So this is my opinion otherwise go and try. Decoration and services are also very well.

Very well decorated. The quality & quantity of food is also justified against the rates. Love their bacon wrapped olive chicken. Plus, you can also sit here with your work. The staffs are very well behaved as well. The outdoor sitting area also has a nice feel.

Located in Southern Avenue, very near from Rabindra Sarobar. Cafe Drifter is a cute little cafe with awesome food and service, price is also good to go. This place is very pleasant for conversation, adda also it has a perfectly cozy atmosphere for couples. Anyone can do their work peacefully in this cafe. This place has smoking zone separately. We hangout here all the time! The best place to hangout and chill with your friends and family! They provide a very comfy and good ambience for their customers! It’s like our anytime go-to place ! The food here is pocket-friendly and tastes amazing. The staff here are really very humble and kind! All over a great place!

We weren't planning to go here but just came upon it while getting lost with Google maps 😂 the place is tiny but has the old Calcutta vibe, has a verandah, a smoking room, and an AC room. Loved the breakfast options there. They have amazing add ons. We had teas too!

A nice place. Did not heard about it before. The food was really good both in quality and quantity. The noodles in half plate is enough for a normal average person. You can order from a range of mocktails also.

This place is really nice and cozy. We went to experience "work from cafe" and it was really comfortable and peaceful ambience to work with your friend. There was charging points, free wifi (we used our own dongle) and tasty foods. At first, we ordered Lemon Iced Tea which was good and relaxing, then after sometimes, we had Darjeeling tea and Lemon Honey Ginger tea, and we liked it very much, it was tasty.
