North Kolkata doesn't have much cafe culture but more of street food culture. Located on the way from Girish Park to Maniktala, Urbans Cafe is the fusion of both. Although it has roadside sitting but the place seems clean and hygienic. The lights and decorations of the counter looks cool and create a vibe. Service is good and behavior of the owner is also very good. Harvest Creamy Cheese White Sauce Pasta @ Rs.189 (2.5/5) ------------------------------------------- It was well done penne pasta nicely served on a black plate and quantity was good. Didn't found much fragrance and flavors of herbs from the top just found grated cheese. Chicken chunks were bit big hence left flavorless from the sauce. Considering their roadside sitting and the price of Rs.189 they could've easily put few exotic vegetables like black olive, bell peppers, broccoli etc. But they just put capsicum slices and corn. It felt so cheap and not justifying. Putting lots of mayonnaise and cheese doesn't make a good pasta. That said I had too many expectations from this place but got disappointed. But will probably give their Sandwich and Chinese items a second try in future.

It is a roadside small cafe with outside seating arrangements. Very close to girish park metro station and Vivekananda road. We ordered tea and crispy chicken strips. The taste was really nice. But according to me the price is a bit higher compared to a roadside cafe. Service is also good. Pocket pinch for 2 would be around ₹300. Good place for hang out.

I personally liked it bcoz the food was yummy and the price was reasonable but the cafe is small and you have to sit crossing your lap and it's kinda cozy.. So if you looking for ambience it's not upto the mark but the food here is really tasty..

the food is really good. This is one of our fav hang out place. Generally we have pasta over there and it's really yummy. You can lounge with your friends upstairs. Its a small place. Now's a day they use dim lights.... So what your steps and your head!!

Crispy chilli chicken is my only usual here. Good for a quick takeaway or snack.

A good cafe, the whole ambience of 1st floor is on point. Good for couples. The good thing is still the food and how elegantly it was prepared and presented in our plate. The Sandwiches we ordered is one of the good ones we have ate in Kolkata. The combos in menu are must try. They have options of Wallet payment when we went there, they also accept card payment and Little app. Overall just go for it, try it and you'll like to visit again. Always We Got The Best Pasta Ever.....Since We've Tried Almost 20 Places Pasta But The Taste and Quality We Got From Here...That is just amazing

Famous very good food

Their sandwiches are awesome. I have tried their desi supreme sandwich ,paneer tikka sandwich,cheese paneer toast and veggies cheese sandwich.

The place is on top of their kitchen. It's very congested and small. The roof height is also very low. You have to sit on floor for having food. Only for vegetarians. We went inside and came out after 2-3 minutes. The stair is almost right angle; it can be tough for elderly people to climb such a stair. We didn't eat anything there. We didn't like the place.

Food is very tasty and awesome And the owner Mr Rahul Wanshi is a very humble person and he is very good in his work.

Nice joint for coffee and adda, but seating can be an issue for big group

The front view of this cafe is so nice like they are cooking inside a taxi, sitting arrangement are available but only with few stools don't worry you can enjoy the food while standing. Try their combos if you want to save your pocket money.

This is the only place where I was able to get chicken loaded french fries in North Calcutta and too at a large quantity at cheap price @159

Situated near girish park , almost 400m from Girish park metro station . We ordered Chowmin with manchurian with a Coke @149 , the quantity was also adequate and taste was also good. The Only thing we don't like was they have table and chairs beside the road ,so no personal space also the table are of large size so , problem for short height persons .. You will find Zomato pro for this on Zomato app . But they refused to have it also you can't order food from here via Zomato or swiggy.

#Please take caution while coming here. We went there to eat but there were owner's friends who created all the nuisance. All talking in vulgar language. We were mentally effected.
