This wax museum was really nice. Almost all of the wax figures look exactly like the real actor/musician. The wax figures were so life-like! We had the best time doing selfies with so many different characters! The props were great, pulling us into some fun pics! It is located in new town area and opposite to eco park. There is a subway to move from one side of the highway to other.

If you planning for a family outing then you can visit this place. This is a very refreshing place for people of all age groups. I have been there for 4 times and whenever I go the excitement remains the same. This place is located in New Town, Opposite Eco Park. They not only have wax statues of famous Celebrities, but also a beautiful Bonshai Garden and a roof top restaurant.

🔶Timing: Tuesday to Sunday from 12 to 7:30pm. Monday Closed. 🔶 Ambience: Good and family friendly. The wax statues of various famous personalities( from different fields)is a must watch. 🔶Cost: 250/- per person. 🔶Must visit for:- 1) The tattoolight room displaying various lights. 2) The wax statues are beauty. Not all resemble perfectly. The best resemblance is of Mr. Bean. 3) The roof top view of the Ecopark from the 6th floor and the Bonsai Garden in the same floor 4) Legendz Rooftop Cafe 5) The ghost section with haunted sounds 🔶If you are visiting Ecopark, exit through gate 2, take the subway and you will reach Wax Museum.

The Mother’s wax museum is a wonderful place to visit near gate no.2 of the Eco park Kolkata. The wax statues of all famous personalities of Bengal, India and World are there. It is divided into different categories of the famous people like movie stars both Hollywood n Bollywood, Bengali poets n writers, famous Indian freedom fighters, movie characters, world leaders, cartoon characters and there is also a special room to feel like haunted where statues of ghosts and zombies are there. On the top floor there is a restaurant where u can refresh by viewing the lake of the Eco part which is just opposite to it.

MWM Or the Mother's Wax Museum is the pride of kolkata! Full of creativity and good vibes! Entry fees per person is 250/ bucks, for parking there is an ample of place just outside the museum campus on the road. Children as well as adults will enjoy the place. There's a dark room which provides music and dj lights which is quite amusing! On the top most floor u will get to have a restaurant and open sky view, washrooms available there. Escalator services are well provided. You will definitely enjoy the place. Hopefully my review satisfies your curiosity to know about the place.

Good place for kid, they would love statues of their favorite heroes in movies and cartoons. It's Terrace has a bearifull view of eco Park and it's lake. This museum has a light room (you can actually take multiple clicks of you and your groups within a movie light show)... It also has a scary room, you can take clicks hugging a ghost.. Loved this place a lot

Lovely place to spend an hour in KOLKATA. Wax figures are nice just wish it was bit better especially some statues needs to be replaced . Also, newer statues should be brought in periodically. Also, special mention of the open cafe.. Which was wonderful. With lovely views..

What I liked is the detailing of the wax statues and information about respective personalities. The place is very thoroughly designed. Imagine all your favorites celebrities in one room, looking at you and welcoming you with open arms. It sounds simply marvelous, does it not? That is the dream that Mother's Wax Museum in kolkata fulfills for you. The much-famed Madame Tussauds in London houses international celebrities made purely out of wax, in their best moments. It is like time froze in those essentials moments. Much like that, Mother's Wax Museum in Kolkata maintains several wax statues of our favourite leaders of all time and celebrities from different corner of the world. Travelling or visiting Mother's Wax Museum could potentially take up a sufficient amount of time of your day. Be well prepared ahead. It is situated in New Town, which is the latest addition to the city of Kolkata. New Town is often considered to be a planned city and it is growing quite rapidly . Mother's Wax Museum has now become an important landmark that distinguishes New Town. The West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited is an enterprise under the government of West Bengal. They have recently opened a financial centre at New Town. Its fifth and sixth floors are where Mother's Wax Museum is located. It is situated immediately opposite to the central gate(gate no. 02) of Eco Park. You can simply board a bus heading to New Town. These buses are available in almost all important junctions in the city such as Ruby, Jadavpur, Rashbehari, Salt Lake etc. It is very near to the airport. You can also hire or book a cab from top car rental companies to Mother's Wax Museum. The wax statues in the museum have been segregated into departments such as History and Leaders, Sports, Bollywood, Hollywood and lastly Music. Its Mother's promise to have something special for all her visitors. Mother's Wax Museum houses several celebrities that are simply a class apart. They have Albert Einstein, Michael Jackson, Rabindranath Tagore, Lionel Messi, Maradona.......it's a long list. Revealing all the names would spoil the surprise. There's a moonlight tatty disco to take amazing pictures inside and a wax horror room to. Waste no time and set off to visit Mother's Wax Museum today, if you're in the city. Like a warm, affectionate mother, the museum has it's doors open for everyone strolling in to spend hours inside. Mother's Wax Museum is open for six days a week, barring Monday. It opens everyday at noon and shuts at half past seven in the evening, giving you ample time to loiter around. Tickets are prices at Rs. 250 per person for adults and children above three years of age. It is by far, one of the best tourist attractions of Kolkata. Not only is the location simply brilliant but it is a wonderful place to drop in with your friends, family or partner.

Entry fee: Rs. 250/- per head. It's an excellent place to visit. You can meet more than 100 statues of celebrities. They have done a very nice job to create them. It looks like a real human. I recommend this place to each and every friend. Also you can visit the rooftop cafe as well.

The wax museum is too realistic.....best place for children and also adults. Great place to click thousands of pictures. All the statues are realistic except of srk's. I wish it was better. Also there's no Dhoni statue so I am rating it 4.... Otherwise must visit...... Its a great opportunity to be pictured with their favourite stars and personalities.

Good place for kids to enjoy and have fun. But the ticket price (Rs. 250) per head not worth it. All though its a nice attempt to make iconic wax statues but the ticket price is very high. Two floors having various wax statues of Bengali Legends, Freedom Fighters, Bollywood and Hollywood actors, sportsmen, cartoon and comic characters etc. There is a ghost room also, which is quite scary for light hearted peoples. Overall the place is good but again saying tickets are highly priced.

Some of them are almost life like and near perfect. You can definitely visit and spend some time with children to make them see it by themselves. However there is also a suggestion that they need to improvise some of the wax statues wherein they lack a clear resemblance to the original. It was a beautiful experience, specially kids enjoyed taking pictures with the realistic wax replicas of famous Asian & Western actors, singers, scientists, political including famous characters of real and virtual world. Nice visit experience. In overall , I liked the place very much. I got to look the wax statues of famous people of India and abroad. It was my first visit to a wax museum. Ticket cost per person is okay and affordable. I recommend you visit if you’re in Kolkata💕🌻

It's location is opposite to Eco Park gate 2. It was established on 14th November, 2014. It has been named after Reverend Mother Teresa. Here there are wax replica of diverse personalities of our beloved planet. The description of the each item has been displayed nicely. Items are parity likened with different age groups. Starting from historical freedom fighters to laureate, film industry superstars, singers, to cartoon figures and ghosts can be found in mothers wax museum. But the entry fee is too high.

It based on two floors. I loved the scary house and the tattoo light show ( no extra charges required for this). Best place for children and make you child again 😁😁

The place is good to visit if you are planning to visit Eco park. This place needs not a separate day. Takes around 1-1.5 hrs to see it completely. You can click amazing pictures with life like wax statues of renowned personalities of India and abroad. But the entry fee is ₹250(as per my knowledge till Jan 2021) which makes it costly. After all the place is not worth to be spent ₹250 and that little amount of time. This place is a one time visit.

New Town is situated in the North Eastern Part of Kolkata and is fast emerging as one of India’s latest and fastest-growing planned new cities. It is situated adjacent to Salt Lake City and is in close proximity to the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, Kolkata. The town has a planned population of 1 million with a proposed 0.5 million additional floating population. Around 44000 dwelling units have already been constructed and a sizeable number of dwelling units are under construction. It is expected that the town shall have around 200 000 dwelling units catering to the housing needs of the planned population in due course. The town has already attracted the attention of the visitors and tourists for the Eco Tourism Park situated at the heart of the town with a vast area of 480 acres. To make New Town distinguishably highlighted in the Tourist Map of India, it has been conceived to establish a WAX MUSEUM in the city. The 6th and 5th floor of an asset, (WBHIDCO), situated just opposite the Central Gate of the Eco Park, was identified for establishing this WAX MUSEUM. The 6th and 5th Floor of Finance Centre is around 26000 Sq.ft of an area dedicated to the Mother’s WAX Museum.

The càfe at Mother's Wax Museum is always popular for it's rooftop view of complete Kolkata. If you are bored from the interior designs and want some authentic breeze of Kolkata to touch your face, which can lit your soul. Then this is the place! The food here is somewhat okay but could be appreciated for it's view.

Very nice thought process and execution to have something like this in Kolkata. Has renowned figures from Art, literature, politics, Movies, singing and has a dedicated section for kids as well. Maybe some wax statues could have been done in a better way. But nothing to complain about, improvement will definitely come. I feel the 250 Rs ticket price is a bit on the higher side as it hardly takes an hour to take a tour of the museum. Parking is available outside. Very much recommended.

Most of the people want to visit the place who ever visits Eco Park, but the drawback is the ticket price. Ticket price should be economy. And the authority should take care about the high beamed laser light rotating at the reception, this can damage a glassed person vision in all of a sudden. The ambient is quite and peaceful. I liked the most is to have a coffee on the top floor cafeteria and enjoying the scene of afternoon as a bird eye view especially the view of the eco park is very beautiful. Most visit "tattoo light" parlour in the mother wax museum.

Wax museum is a real State of Art place. Brief description is all the heroes mentioned besides the respective wax sculptures. The art work is really commendable. All great leaders their respective field are nicely built and maintained well. One must take of self clothing before entering there because the Air conditioning inside is very effective and its chilled inside. Entry fees Rs 250 per head +50 for parking seems quite high. But it definitely worth to visit.

Mind blowing place. You will like all the area and all the statue. Though all the resemble are not perfectly. But all are very beautiful. Light arrangement is really good, light was used as required. Messi - Maradona, Kohili-Sachin Tendulkar, Shahrukh khan, Salman khan, Amitabh Bachchan all character are there. Angelina Jolie, Michael Jackson, 007, Jack Sparrow all of them are present in one place to entertain you....but I missed Pele, CR7 & Tom Cruise. The Ghost room idea with haunted sound is really good and tattoo light room idea is awesome.

An informative and educational place. One of a kind museum located at the New Town area of Kolkata, just opposite to the Eco Park. Around fifty wax statues of legends from India and around the world are showcased here. A perfect place for fun family day outs and excursional trips.

The Place is good for Kids and Even for Adults. Few statues are not look alike. But one thing is they don't allow water bottles inside Museum and they don't have any drinking water available or toilet.

It is good place to enjoy and have fun with friends ,family and kids. Kids will enjoy a lot by immitating the iconic wax statues .. but the ticket price is high (250 Rs per person) not worth it. 2 floors having various types of iconic wax statues are there like All famous freedom fighters , Hollywood and bollywood actresses and actors, cartoon , comic famous sports man waxe statues are there. Exmples are mahatma gandhiji , subhash chandra bose, mother theresa etc.. you can take your family there as a picnic spot... and there is a ghost wax statues room also so you can feel it the sound from that room. Tattos room also there so you can do dance 💃. you can see nice view i.e kolkata eiffiel tower eco park lighting in the night from upstairs. Finally you can enjoy.. especially kids enjoy a lot...i enjoyed this place with my colleagues. Had fun there. 1 star less because of high ticket price.

Wax museum is nice place for weekend outing . You can see the legend from different genre and different era. There is no fee for kids below 3 years . Entry fee is ₹250 per person. Rooftop restaurant is good to spend time . From rooftop you can enjoy the view of lake and miniature Eiffel tower of eco park. It is worth to visit the place but only once as per me.

The place was great and motivating with lots of fun packed stages for photography and enjoyment , some important information was also there 😁😁 but we all love 💓💓 to skip those informations , and we did the same. For a poser guy in your group it's a great place, and a hectic place for the camera man guy in the group 😀😀. But the 4 star ⭐✨⭐✨ is for the ticket price which is a bit too high ( 250 per person no ticket needed for children less than 3 years) But if you live near it you all must visit it at least for once.💥🤗🤩

It’s a very good place and great museum of famous people all over the world. All the statues are made by wax and very similar. Tickets are easily founded there and it’s start 9 am and close 7 pm. If anyone can visit Calcutta then everyone should visit this place. Very easy to find out. Just remember you are beside eco park Calcutta India and just beside of it the mother was museum.

It's location is opposite to Eco Park gate number two and in the West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation building. It was established on 14th November, 2014. It has been named after Reverend Mother Teresa. Here there are wax replica of diverse personalities of our beloved planet. The description of the each item has been displayed nicely. Items are parity likened with different age groups. There are modern light and sound systems, spider Man and other super heroes. There's a fine restaurant with wonderful atmosphere. The important thing is that an extraordinary attractive sight of Eco Park is seen from here. This is a remarkable view. It is a well maintained museum.

Wax statues of eminent personalities of different field can be found here. Starting from historical freedom fighters to laureate, film industry superstars, singers, to cartoon figures and ghosts can be found in mothers wax museum. The entry fee is 250bucks. But the statues can be made, a little more realistic.

  • 4/5 Renu S. 4 years ago on Google
I could have given 5 stars...but cannot because of the entry fee. It's too high for general public. As I have witnessed an old couple avoiding to visit because of the high entry fee. Apart from that I really enjoyed being there, people come clicks picture... though some more known personality can be added.

Cannot express how impressed I am with this place! The wax figures are absolutely amazing. From famous people in India and abroad to cartoon characters. Some of the figures like Rabindranath Tagore and Michael Jackson are so life-like! The figures are placed in a way that you can see them from all around and take photos with them. This place is an absolute gem!

The place lacks the professional touch that you would expect out of a wax museum, but sadly it lacks that as evident in many of its statues. Visited the place way back in 2015. Some of them don't even look like real life replicas of the celebrities in question. Though the structures and statues look as if they were made by novices rather than professionals, but a great place to spend time nevertheless. Good for a one time visit.

It's a wonderful place to visit in Kolkata. Here bus, taxi & cab facility are available. The two floor in this museum are wax idols of celebrity personnel's of India and abroad. Here you can also enjoy the photo . An hour or two is sufficient to spend with family. They have given good efforts to create replica of top personalities/ characters. It is located in front of Eco Park. Sections available for kids also. So they are also enjoyed there. Ghosts section specially attracted kids. Here you can also get the cartoon section which also a attraction for kid. There is a restaurant on the rooftop of the building which server good food.

The statues of hollywood celebrities didnt seem to resemble much with their actual counter part but there was much alikeness for the statue of hollywood celebrities. Few actors are missed though. Great place....and the statues are very lifelike with some new additions too. There is also a haunted house inside which is quite spooky. I tried buying the tickets online via the website but the payment did not go through and I was given an error. So I suggest that you get the ticket from the offline counter which is not very crowded. The ticket price is Rs 250 and is totally worth it given the fun time you can spend here. Once you come out of the wax museum there is also a small rooftop bonsai garden which you might want to check out as it has a beautiful view of the cityscape.

One time “must visit” place while you’re in Kolkata! Except few wax statues (which are literally caricature at best) most of them have been beautifully sculpted life-size. Collection is fairly good, and in my humble opinion, the entry fee of 250 bucks which many visitors have raised their eyebrows against is justified... come on folks, how much do you pay for a movie ticket in city multiplexes???

A one time watch but absolutely worthy of it.. They have some great wax statues of freedom fighters, actors, politicians, entertainers, sportspersons.. The focus is though on the one's hailing from WB and why not ? One should always promote and be proud of a state's legacy. If I leave a few like the statues of Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan then most of them are resembling the famous personalities themselves.. I last visited the museum in 2016 when the entry fee was 120 or 150 which they have increased to 250 now considering the fact that there are few more statues added and the museum now occupies two entire floor.. Overall it was a good experience..

Much like museums, Mother’s Wax Museum does not fail to provide a tribute to the legends our country has housed, witnessed and remembered by. The stalwarts of our country have been frozen into their life-like selves for you to jump on the wagon to be able to travel back in time. The easiest mode of transport for one of the most fun filled days of your lives is board a bus heading to Newtown. These buses are available in almost all important junctions in the city such as Ruby, Jadavpur, Rashbehari, Salt Lake, etc. It is very near to the airport. You can also hire or book a cab from top car rental companies in Kolkata to Mother’s Wax Museum.

Best way to spend time with family and especially children will find it very attractive and fun. A very well maintained wax museum in midst of the upcoming Neotown in Kolkata. It brings in a fesh air of entertainmemt for a city which has been calling out for new places to hangout The tickets are priced high at 150 but it has got a lot of personalities to take selfies with. Note that you are not allowed to touch the wax models else there is a hefty fine. This Wax Museum is at 3rd floor of the building. Presently having few images of Famous Personalities. In my view some of them are not that much good. As per authority those images will be replaced soon with a better one. Nice place to spend so time with a different experience.

Very nice place to visit with family and kids . The wax museum is at 6th floor of the MWM building with a entrance fee if Rs.150/- each person . Museum has nice ambience with separated into Indian , Hollywood , Tattoo Light and Great personality . Hollywood and kid section is superb . But many great persons statues are not to scale which gives a dwarf like look . The museum has 1 restaurant and 1 rooftop cafe Legend which is superb and gives a wonderful view of entire eco park in the evening . Must spend sometime and relax here . If you are going to visit Eco Park and Wax museum together be prepared for heavy rush during weekends .

I have no idea how this hotel is considered as 5 star. 3 star hotels are better than this. Be warned, if you have allergies, don't visit this hotel. The entire floor where our room was smelled like mold and it gave me a bad headache as I have dust allergy. The images on the website are totally misleading. The room size in reality is very very small. So is the bed size. Ac is not that great either. At least it wasn't until I called a guy to fix it. They rarely clean the air filters in AC which hinders its ability to cool the room. The food here is expensive for no reason. I mean if I am staying in a mold covered tiny room with bad cooling system, small beds and broken kettle, why should I pay a premium amout for the food? The view from the room is also very bad. There is construction work going on everywhere around this hotel and if you are someone who needs a decent view of the city from their room, you will be disappointed. They even told me that their pool is closed. That too on a sunday afternoon. It clearly shows how poorly the hotel is managed and you should stay away from it if you value your health and wealth.

Hotel property is nice, quite big property; however it is tedious one, as they have just one lift in the entire building, also no stair case available for general use, quite surprised not to find one, how they will handle the crowd in the time of crisis like fire outbreak, earthquake etc. Moreover the staff is really rude they don't know how to talk to their guest I would definitely not like to visit such place where hotel staff don't respect their guests. Also being in the service industry, they don't know how to keep up with the commitment; either you don't give the commitment, if you give then fulfill it.

One of kind museum in Kolkata, a lovely, fun place. It's fully air conditioned, unlike Indian Museum, making the experience more comfortable. Some of the wax statues, however, aren't well made and do not exactly resemble the person/character. The museum isn't too big, takes about 1.5 hrs to view all the exhibits, click pictures. The space in front (within the MWM complex) has a cafe and it's a nice place to sit, relax and have a chat.

Worst Experience! Never ever book this hotel. It's a loss of your money... The staff over here is not cooperative they don't know how to talk to customers. We have booked around 10-15 rooms for 35-40 people and As our guests asked for check-ins or extra beds, they are Suggesting us ideas about why you want to sleep now in day time. This we got in 1-2 hours. People had to wait for 2-3 hours for check-in who have travelled from far off places. They provided us rooms which have wet carpets with water coming from the washroom shower area and they Also Don't have proper drainage in washrooms... There are hardly lights in the passage area and most of them have stopped working. And it's just been couple of hours and a loads of complaints. No standard menu of a 5-Star hotel but have some idiotic price range. Sandwich with no effort on taste or presentation will cost INR 550. Staff is unprofessional. It just looks good from outside( a bit) but from inside it's worst than a 3rd graded lodge... Worst Staff Worst Rooms And Worst experience. They don't even deserve 1 star!

Rs. 250 per head and you can spend unlimited time inside the museum.. Best during the day when the Sun is right above you..!!

It's a great place to stay. The service the staff provides is amazing. They greet you everywhere they see. The rooms were not the great. Could use a little bit of renovation. Other than that, all was well. The breakfast buffet had lots of options on Saturday but less on the Sunday.

This hotel does not have 5 start standard. You can’t expect a clear and transparent communication from the receptionists. I stayed this property last week and there was mosquitoes in side the room. Tea kettle was not functional, internet was intermittent connectivity issue. Food was also not great and specially breakfast was fully below standard. They didn’t event prepared the breakfast menus by 7:00 while they supposed to provide the service by 7:00. I asked for a plain Dosa and didn’t get it until 8:00 and no body also bother to check if I need any thing else. I would say if you don’t have any options to stay then go here otherwise go to even a 2 start rated hotel and you will not regret

Mother's Wax Museum is a fantastic place..There are so many waxes of eminent people of the world. There are so many wonderful pictures in this museum. Wall paintings are tremendous. I became splendid to visit this museum. Staffs are so polite & their behaviours are very appreciative.

Very nice place for visit. In fact anyone staying in kolkata /comes for vacation to kolkata should visit this place for a great experience. All are made of Wax vy artisans which in indeed itself is a great thing. But 1 thing that i missed to see is the statue of Late Dr. Bhupen Hazarika. He sang many many songs in Bengali , I didn't understand why his statue not there.

A good place to take kids around. Besides, you can just take the subway and cross the road to access Eco Park which makes it worthy to go to the Wax Museum

Kolkata's very own wax museum. One can take plenty of pictures with the statues and also several backgrounds are available for the same. The place is indoor photographer's delight. Also, you can look the beautiful view of the Kolkata New Town area from the rooftop.

A wax statue museum where statues of various renowned personal (Gandhiji, Netaji, Rabindranath Thakur, Swami Vivekananda, ...) are available to see. Some celebrities of India and western world (Amitabh Bachchan, SRK, Salman Khan, Bruce Lee, Michelle Jackson, Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, ....) are also there. Our national heros and sports person (Kapil, Sachin, Sourav, Virat) are also available to see. Cartoon and superhero character are also available to see. A place where children will be very happy and able to know about some of our national heros. Though the entry ticket price is bit high but it can be considered for visit with your family in holidays.

It's a fun place to go with someone close to you. Kids will love it! From revolutionaries to actors/director/songwriters and celebrities there are wax statues. The visit is worth it. One can take pictures and get the lake view from the top of the building too. A memorable experience for me!

A collection full of delights. Seeing such a beautiful and perfect wax figure, in a moment you will think that I am standing among some big celebrities. Especially the Marvel section for kids is very nice. But my only suggestion is that it would have been better to show something about environmental awareness or marine life instead of making a part a ghostly environment. Vehicular communication outside the Museum is poor. So own car or privet taxi is the only shelter.

One good place where you can bring your kids as well. You can easily spend around 1.5 hrs here clicking some good pics and videos. Price is around 250, would have been better around 200. You will also get a view from the top where you'll see a lake and some park pg Kolkata.

  • 4/5 Sayantan B. 10 months ago on Google
It was good but according to me 250 per person is little above per.... But the statues are very near to real except some.... I haven't given 5 Star only because of the price that seems to me High

Worthy tourist spot cum musuem. This museum houses wax statues of many great people not only of India or West Bengal but also of the world. The place is very unique to enjoy with your family and to take pictures with the wax statues which apparently looks like a real one. Thus you must come and enjoy this place at least once in your life.

There is another museum other than madam Tussauds in India is Mother's wax museum which is situated in Kolkata, if u are in Kolkata must visit this wax museum, it has all major wax figures in the museum from Mahatama Gandhi to Brad Pitt.. it's huge and has two floors ,upper floor has all illumination section, bollywood and gift centre,on the second floor which is my favourite Hollywood figures section , Oscar section and horror section. They have figurers like Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and mr bean and all the other major wax figures they have in the museum and from movies like avatar, star wars and tin tin etc also they have . They are well made, totally realistic looks of the actor and actress, my most favourite character was Mr bean it like he was there to greet us , Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were awesome. Well come to the really disappointed side of the museum, it's there bollywood section which literally makes me like why the Salman Khan doesn't look like Salman Khan and others too, some of the figures in sports section like Messi is in the mess literally, see his face it's like some one put infront of heater,it's got soft. Some of the figures are perfect and some are not so good. So overall it is a really good and awesome museum in Kolkata and in India after madam Tussauds. Ticket- 250 rupees per person Time to complete - 30min to 1 hrs

They have a nice collection of wax statues of Indian and international celebrities. Some of them are almost life like and near perfect. You can definitely visit and spend some time with children to make them see it by themselves. However there is also a suggestion that they need to improvise some of the wax statues wherein they lack a clear resemblance to the original.

Every famous city has famous Madam Tussaud. So why not Kolkata!! Great initiative to make people alive in the heart of common people and give the legends a recognition to the future generations. Nice place to visit on weekends with the kids or family. Just ₹250 per head and enjoy the rest. Many celebrities, legends sculpture has been depicted, many sculpture seems to be real one. Their outfit is perfect. People would definitely love to see them, love to have selfie with their favourite legends. The wax statues are restored in perfect condition. However, a lot more attention to details were required to the face of the legends. Sculptures could have been more perfect. Celebrities from India is a sentiment and pride of our country, and applicable for all legends presnt in the museum. It's not that easy to make any sculpture of a human being, however salute to the initiative and effort to the creator.
