Good
food
gives
you
good
vibes,
for
sure.
But
a
great
dine-out
should
have
something
more,
like
a
good
ambience,
charming
environment
with
cheerful
soft
music,
plenty
of
options
in
the
menu,
courteous
staffs
ready
to
help,
fast
service,
proper
presentation
of
the
meal
and
perfect
taste
to
satisfy
your
gustatory
cells.
This
place,
located
just
near
the
Indian
Museum,
Kolkata
fulfills
every
criteria
of
a
skeptical
foody
like
me.
From
entering
the
restaurant
to
getting
out
of
it,
my
experience
was
wonderful.
The
staffs
were
educated,
polite
and
proficient
at
their
job.
Since
it
was
our
first
rendezvous
at
a
south
asian
food
joint,
we
were
very
enthusiastic
and
excited
about
the
menu,
not
to
mention
almost
clueless.
But
the
waiter
was
such
a
gentleman,
that
he
took
all
the
trouble
to
decide
the
courses.
We
took
"Tempura
prawn"
(akin
to
prawn
Kobiraji)
and
"Magsha
kai"(spicy
cooked
chicken
wrapped
in
banana
leaves,
like
Paturi)
as
starters.
Then
we
went
for
some
mocktails
and
cocktails
until
the
main
course
arrived.
I
strongly
recommend
the
Martini
and
the
"Blue
heaven".
Indeed,
it
was
heavenly.
Then
we
tucked
in
the
extravagant
green
rice,
the
"Leangs
fried
rice",
"Kai
hor
bai"
(Spicy
chicken
curry)
and
the
"Kaeng
kai"
(lemongrass
chicken).
The
restaurant
officials
were
generous
enough
to
offer
a
complimentary
serving
of
steamed
rice
as
well!
We
were
so
full
that
there
was
hardly
any
room
for
deserts..!
And
all
these,
with
a
pocket
pinch
of
Rs.
4009/-
only
for
4
hungry
adults!
I
cannot
thank
enough
the
decent
waiter
who
made
this
convivial
evening
so
memorable.
I'd
definitely
give
6
star
ratings
if
it
was
possible...
Thanks
you
