Nature park, it offends by its name. Closest park near to Calcutta port. I did not find it as a great place to hangout. Since it is located on road of Taratala where all container trucks and lorries pass by. It is full of dust. It is not at all being close to nature. Entry ticket is needed. Inside there is a big lake dug to compensate the pollution caused by Port trust. Roads are hectic Very big lorries and truck are on queue to move forward. On long run visits you can suffer respiratory issues. I don't see it as a nice place to visit.

Visited here today (13th feb 2021), this place is very close to my heart, first visited this place in 2002 for picnic, this place bring back memories from the past. This used to be a more happening place back in the day when there were various kinds of animals like deer, turkey, peacock.But now you don't get to see those. We really had a funny encounter with a hungry squirrel, we spotted a mother pig with her kids in search of food, you will definitely love this place if you're a nature lover. We saw picnic parties coming here and enjoying. It's a good picnic spot. Beyond the picnic spot zones couples usually make out, so ensure you don't bring your kids to such areas. Entry fee is 25 per person and bike parking fee is 20.

It's a true nature park in South of Kolkata having big multiple water bodies, children park, boating facilities etc. Anybody could enter the park after buying an entry ticket. They also have multiple picnic spots inside, which could be booked in advance for doing picnic or any kind of get-together. Picnic spots have clean wash rooms. There are boating facilities which could be hired.
