Hossain Shah Park is situated at the junction of Mominpur Road, Hossain Shah Road, Debi Choudhury Road and Braunfield Row, very useful Park/Garden for local people, boys play here sometime cricket, Rubber Ball, badminton etc.A small Kids playing area also situated inside the park, Every afternoon Kids are played here and enjoyed very much, Every year Durga Puja,Eid ul fitr,Eid ul joha's NAAMAZ and many social & cultural programmes also held here, Kid's from Hossain Shah Road , Debi, Choudhury Road, Braunfield row,Dolu sarkar Lane, Kobikhet, JALA LANE and surroundings come here to play, It is very important for locality, some senior citizens also come to be fresh and to do morning & evening walk here.

Situated very close to Mominpur crossing and Jnan Chandra Ghosh Polytechnic on Mayurbhanj Road, I have visited this puja for the very first time. It has not been converted to a corporate puja till date. This puja is actually organized by the local community, irrespective of Hindus and Muslims. One of my friends, Sri Anunava Mukherjee, is in organizing the same. We few visited the puja on the MahaNavami morning. We enjoyed the day on observing the Aarati, having our lunch with Khichuri, bhaja, mix sabji (chachchari/chhnyachra/labra), chatni & payesh and obviously spending times with friendly gossips (adda). This sort of puja is being extinct day by day.

I was just passing by the park. But I found it was totally unhygienic. Children are playing and senior citizens are also coming, but area is totally unhygienic. No food counter except one roadside fast-food outlet.
