DPS Ruby Park is the worst place to be at. I am an ex-student from the year before (HSC 2018) and I planned my visit to meet my teachers now that I have completed all my pilot exams. The security shun me away and teachers refused to listen over the phone. The school is all about business.Badly insulted by the security staff and even that they pushed me out of the gate with my foot still underneath, I feel ashamed to have studied and spent my time at this humanly worthless institution. I am undergoing flight training as a pilot and my visit to show gratitude towards my teacher have been a murder of my feelings also. This is only a show-off school reaching out to a bunch of media outlets for publicity. They put on the motto of service before self yet seldom do not advocate any relation with students after their business is over. This is how they treat us after 12 years being associated. I wonder how any student spending 6 hours a day would be able to call this a second home.

Took admission in DPS thinking its a very prestigious school. I studied during the pandemic maybe that's why... coming from a convent this school was a hell's pit. 11th and 12th science is average and not at all at par with its reputation. Wouldn't have joined if I knew where I would be after two years. The obsession of Bengali parents with science and medical is immaculate and its quite evident here. Not naming the teacher but .... not all teachers are student friendly or trustworthy for that matter. (Saying this as a student who studied jn DPS for two years during pandemic. Not saying this will be the case for others )

Good infrastructure and a learning environment. One of the best school managed by Om Dayal Group. The best DPS in town.

These people should give a certificate of participation for the parents as well. Everything, from studies to extra-curricular, is dependent on parents only. The school just takes money and baby-sits students for 6 hrs. Pathetic. The way they teach actually promotes private tuition culture. And then they are quick to take credit for the student's performance. Nowhere have I seen a selected few always been picked up for Annual day and no provision for the rest to even witness the event. They are busy producing Chatur Ramalingam type students with sole focus on marks and exams. Ever heard small kids having exams on either side of Puja holidays?? Welcome to DPS Ruby Park!! Ditto for Diwali holidays (mere 4 days..). They seem to have never heard about a well deserved break! Exams and Exams throughout the year! They run the school like corporate sector. And if you still want to admit your kid here, be sure they are street smart and can take care of themselves and their belongings. Nothing, I mean nothing, is safe here in school, starting from kids water bottles, pencil boxes, tiffin boxes, color pencil sets etc.. Anything too shiny is bound to disappear. Absolutely no one takes any responsibility later on. Tons of complaints do not matter at all. There have been cases where seniors have pushed juniors while coming down the stairs resulting in serious injuries and the school just shirks it off as an accident. No CCTV footage was shown when the parents asked for it. And then dare u say anything against teachers or management!! It's sad that a reputed school like this is just an eyewash from outside. A school should be more than just building, benches, books & buses. It is also a place for kids to make lifelong memories and friends. The sooner the management understands it, the better.

Got in touch with this school recently and I am utterly shocked , the teaching staff was extremely rude . Well , they must remember that , basically they are here to help and guide parents and students , but without doing so , they offer you a bitter experience and misconduct you thoroughly . Hope Mrs Paromita Roy Chakraborty is listening ?

A school based on CBSE curriculum. Good building, students are from upper level of society. But the school 's educational standard is not high. It may be the strict conventional method of education. The school fee is quite high in comparison to the education they served.

Though the school building is nice but the uniform they suggest is made up of a very thick material which is difficult to use in summers . They overload students with homework, activities. Each bag can weigh a minimum of 7 kgs everyday. They don't even let the class 9,10 students to use the lockers and it's just kept for a show . If the lockers are available then students can keep some stuff in the lockers so they have to carry less stuff to school every day. The computer teachers don't even reach the chapters properly, the computer teachers in class 9 just reads the subheadings and not the content. This year the school has told the students to cancel their trips in the puja vacation so that they will take tests at the time. Durga Puja being one of the biggest festival in Bengal, several people plan to visit outstations and have a small trip for fun which is needed, so this is a very bad news for all those people. The dispersal management is really bad, specially in this covid period and rising cases of covid no one wears a mask and they have more than 50 students in one class.

Dont get confused with their brand name. If you are a Non- DPS student taking admission in any class, please dont even think of trying there. They hardly take any Non-DPS student. Only follows some quota systems, preferred transferred persons and the students come from other states.Although they wont say you, rather will take 3000/- in the name of registration, and then will conduct an entrance test, followed by parents interaction on the same day. All for you to know in a couple of days " Sorry none of the Non-DPS candidates have been selected. Its a joke. So please dont fall in their trap. Never get connected with them easily. Have to call thousand times after they will answer your query if they feel pity. No proper communication with parents and no discipline.

Hi All, Pls don't do any admission of your child in this school. Reason huge admission fees and regular fees even for nursery child. And if due to some uncertainty if you withdraw your admission of child then you will not get refund of admission fees. I have done admission of my child in nursery and due to some personal issue I have to withdraw the admission and my full.admission fees of Rs 80000 DPS has deducted. Just understand how a normal middleman will bear all these cost. Is the big amount for the school why they have such practice of deducting admission fees.

Well up until class 10th u get the teachers helping you in all possible ways. But for 11th and 12th plz leave the school as they intake a lot of outside students to the school. The teachers r not able to look after all the students as there will be close to 1000 students per class. Further u will be given homework assignment to be completed in limited time.So it is not good for competitive preparation.

I got amazed by so poorly managed office of a DPS School, usually one experiences this in a govt school. I waited for a signature on 1 certificate for 2 hrs, issue was not time but no one even asked for 1 glass of water. While waiting i was thinking about my kids school which is also a DPS buts its not rubypark but Megacity, one enters DPS megacity and the kind of system they have implied for everything is impressive .

A top ranked school in Kolkata following CBSE curriculum!! I was very satisfied with mode of teaching since my son joined this school after we relocated from USA. The teaching staff are efficient and well trained to tackle both academic and the varuedextra curricular activities at par. The school students are always encouraged to take part in various activities like games, quiz competitions, elocution music et al. Classrooms are spacious with ample smart classes for students' benefit. The annual program cum scholar badge distribution day had always been a gala event... so has been the sports day! Administration is far more superior compared to some other similar ranked schools.

(some) 11 and 12 grade teachers are just power tripping individuals who think no other educator is better than them .They openly scorn at students who attend tuition and yet fail to provide education equivalent to a pathshala. They will do anything do abuse their power in front of their students, and to them, making the students afraid of them is more important than actually teaching. They mess with children's future as if it's a game. The first two names that pop into my head are Milton Saha and Samrat Mukerjee although there are several more like them. The exam system is completely broken to the point where there is an exam every month. Not only does this put unnecessary pressure on students but also hinders their ability to actually understand the materials in depth. Also, not to mention the ludicrous amount of money they charge. Although, I must mention that some teachers are extremely cooperative and understanding of the students but a few bad apples are good enough to ruin the reputation of the school. PS :- I am a science student so I cannot attest to how commerce or humanities students are treated, but I imagine it would be the same, but just to a lesser extent.

The school buses should be air conditioned first of all as they charge transportation fees equivalent to AC Buses in metro cities. Secondly, the space of the school is comparatively less and since huge children are there, there are deafening sound during the break time. Thirdly due to congested space where the school is located, pick up and drop is a hassle. The Academics is good, thats a big solace. The Management should consider shifting to a bigger campus (like South Point is doing) and upgrade their school buses for some routes.

Don't even think about going to this school. I have been a student here and I am telling you this school has never been a place of education, rather its a goddamm factory intaking thousands of students each year and exploiting them to their fullest with no real output on the students part. Don't waste your parents hard earned money rather go to some good school nearby.
