Developed in old nostalgic Globe cinema hall , a good mall with shops mostly for dresses

Why I rated it such a way? Because previously it was the most famous and popular cinema hall 'The Globe'.. In my childhood I used to go there to watch movies.. Watching movies at Globe was something different its nostalgic..

It's a renovated shopping mall. But most of the shop don't have current stock. The price also higher side. Actually they try for bangaldesh customer only. One of the shop named lady world don't have any good collection. They bring the material from Delhi and say it's a big brand. There behavior also very bad to customer.

Used to be Globe Cinema Hall which is now a mall. I looked around the whole mall but didn't find it different from any other mall. I expected the cinema hall to be on the top floor but was disappointed to find that that too was closed..... If you go to this place, do shopping by looking at all the shops here. This place also has a lot of other readymade ethnic wear for women, men and kids at all the shops.....

This shopping mall is located at Esplanade, near Sim park Mall. Most of the shops remain close, only a few shops are open. Half of the things are not available here.

Globe cinema hall has had past memories stored of many Kolkata citizens including mine. Many film festival movies were shown here. Sadly the owners joined the bandwagon and changed it to a mall. I observed the entire mall but couldn't find it different from any other mall. I expected the cinema hall at the top floor but was disappointed to know that it was closed too. It evoked melancholy nostalgia that was hard to express. 😥

Majority of the shops are clothing store. A new diamond jewelry store has opened recently.

Wonderful collection in west life shop at reasonable price

Try visiting the shop Janab here if you visit this place. Janab offers a variety of ethnic clothes for men in a reasonable price. This place has other ready made ethnic wear for women too. You can even find a shop or two for western dresses.
