A pretty nice place to have south indian food and several chats. Fully air condotioned and clean place to have a quick bite. I tried their cheese masala dosa, idli,lassi and kulfi. All were pretty good with no complaints as such. But I was a little dissapointed with the staff though. They were so lazy that they did not even come to our table to take order. I had to literally shout and place my order. Overall a good experience.

It used to be quite a popular joint 30 years back. Now it has lost it’s glory and quality of food too. Though it’s still running the business as situated in a the hustle bustle of busy market area but the premium ness is not there. Even some of the food they serve is pathetic. I ordered for a aloo tikki chat and what I got in return tastes horrible. There was no tress of aloo tikki and in the name what they served is some matar and over spiced paste with thick maida batter floating in a curd slurry that tasted bad and unhealthy too.

Location: Close to Triangular Park, near Gariahat. Service is very prompt, helpful, pleasant. Ordered during breakfast (available till 11.00am): Hing Kachori: two large kachoris nicely fluffy, potato and green peas sabji, red and green chutney, chopped chilli pickle. Very tasty combo, sabji was perfectly spiced, kachoris had a dal with hing filling. Rs 60 for the combo, very filling. Jalebi: freshly made after you order, fried in desi ghee, served hot, crunchy and nicely sweet, the best. They have ac, both regular chairs and high chairs, wash basin and liquid soap, but no toilet. Overall, highly recommended! Fabulous place for quality food!

One of the most classic place to enjoy vegetarian snacks along the Rash Behari Avenue. The environment is ideal for families and not so much for a group of friends. One complaint I have with the plates, they use aluminium plates which doesn't look very hygienic. Although, I have been going there since my childhood and the food is fine. It is a cash-only place.

I ordered two plates sada vada and two plates idly and paid in card FULLY. After the full payment done, they packed ONLY SADA VADA . I was in hurry, I took the packed food and rushed out as my cab was waiting. After Returning Home, When I Unpacked the Food, Then Only Did I Discover that IDLY IS MISSING!! IS THIS THE WAY THEY CHEAT WITH CUSTOMER?? I TRIED TO CALL THEM, BUT PHONE IS NOT WORKING!! HOW WOULD I GET THE REFUND? OR SIMPLY THIS IS THE WAY THEY CHEAT!!!!!!!!!!!

Very tasty food. Clean resturant, fast service. Veg Only. Dosa and Sambar were very tasty. Not very pricy. 2 people can eat and get a drink in ₹300.

Had a mix experience. Ordered Paper Masala Dosa, it was good. Ordered Veg Sandwich it was served without grilled inspite of asked while placing the order. Service was lousy, had to ask multiple times.

Quality nd taste are below average.. service is very poor, they didn't even serve water with food which is very ridiculous in restaurant's...only atmosphere is good...

We often visit the place. Sometimes at weekend we have our breakfast there and their food quality will satisfy you. But from last couple of month, the staffs behaviour is quite odd. Most of the menu item most of the time will not be available. Today I have visited them at around 10:30 am, they said "Dhosa will not available, because sambar is not ready", I was ok with that, but still they said it will take half an hour. I am not sure what happen with the owner. I guess the owner could not manage the shop properly. Staffs are really annoying, Most of the time only kachuri and dhokla will be available at the first half. If this continue, they will lose their customer.

I ordered Dosa and dahi bada for take out... had papadi chat and dahi puri... Liked Dahi puri a lot.... Would rate it at 4.5 Dosa was 3.5 Dahi bada i did not like much... Maybe because my palate is used to Dahi bada from Punjab.... You guys can definitely try it once to be sure... 🙂 Overall a good place

I have been going there for years now. As usual the good was good, but the masala dosa used to he so thick and big, now it's just like a pear. Moreover, the cashier was so rude..didn't expect from Gupta brothers

Food is not as good as it was before. Their papdi chaat, dahi puchka used to be amazing. Plus quantities have also gone down.The friendly and cheerful staff have also gone. All in all an ok experience.

I have grown up visiting this place enjoying all chats, sherbets and other savoury goodies. Went back to the joint after 14 years, but was disappointed with the overall experience. Clearly my favourite childhood joint has not kept up with time. Disappointed.
