Located at 54 Diamond Harbor Road, Pathak Para, Behala, this outlet of Aminia is decorated beautifully. They have a huge seating capacity. Recently I visited this outlet with my friends and tried the following items: We started with their Independence Day special Mocktail called Tiranga Mocktail, this three layered mocktail was very refreshing. For starters we ordered seasonal special Tiranga Kebab (Non Veg) and Azadi Kebab Platter (Chicken). The Tiranga Kebab was loaded with Chicken Reshmi Kebab, Chicken Tikka Kebab and Murgh Hariyali Kebab. I absolutely loved the Hariyali Kebab it was heavenly delicious. The succulent pieces of Chicken Reshmi Kebab just melted in mouth. The Azadi Kebab Platter was loaded with Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tangdi Kebab and Murgh Reshmi Kebab. The Chicken Tandoori was grilled to perfection and tasted heavenly with the mint chutney they served. The Chicken Tangdi Kebab was equally good in taste For main course we had Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani and Lahori Chicken. Their Mutton Biryani is my all time favourite. The rice was perfectly aromatic, the mutton was very tender and the aloo just melted in mouth tasted amazing with Lahori Chicken. This side dish was full of flavours. We ended this amazing gastronomic experience with Aminia's signature dessert Phirni. This Phirni is highly Recommended. Overall I had a great experience. Loved the food, the ambience was great even the service was really good. All the staffs were very courteous. Do drop here if you want to try the best biryani, mughlai and North Indian dishes in Behala.

Traditional Mughlai food joints in Kolkata Aminia opened several branches across the city. The Behala branch is located just next to Ajanta Cinema and in front of Taratala Metro Station. Due to the construction of Metro, business was not good, but it is picking up now. Holding valet parking system is added advantage. The food is good, but somewhere, the flavor of New Market Aminia is missing. Spacious seating accommodation and prompt service must win your smiles. Pocket friendly, too.

We really liked the food. We had North Indian cuisine. The stuffed kulcha and special naan was really nice. The kebabs were largely good. The malai kebab was a bit on the harder side. Lahori Chicken was kinda disappointing both in terms of taste and quantity. Chicken tandoori butter masala was very tasty. Even, the sweet lime soda was great. The Shahi Firni was amazing as well !

Terrible experience. I have always loved rolls of Aminia ( Zomato) so this time i visited the place. The food was uncooked. Staffs are way to slow Ambiance is good but it was no noisy that that even with uncooked food we could not sit. Even they do not had enough menu, everything we ordered was not available. We had to order food which we did not like and that too was uncooked

This restaurant is managed by so called Brothers of original owner of Aminia Restaurant of Central Kolkata. Service is just average nothing great. However, one peculiar thing was observed that this outlet tends to push the customers towards ordering specific food varieties only. Like on a Sunday afternoon, around 1410 hrs, hotel declaring that they have exhausted all varieties of nan or other Breads and only Rumali Roti is available for order. Also, no kabab is available and customer should opt for Mutton Bura only. STRANGE behaviour from a so called reputed Restaurant of Kolkata. Besides this, available food was not Bad. Handi Mutton was quite good. Only, observation was that Big Potato piece of Chicken Biryani was half cooked. Also, Biryani is not that much awesome. Minimum price of Chicken Biryani is Rs 300/- per plate and one plate is sufficient or just one person only. Main Dining hall of restaurant is located on First floor. So, people with limitations on stairs climbing will face Difficulty as their is no lift. It was observed that this joint mainly carters for packed deliveries. Very, limited but secure parking place is available at this restaurant; which is a rarity in Behala zone.

Good food. I ordered 2 Mutton Biryanis, Mutton Awadhi Biryani, Chicken Cheese Kabab, and Mutton Kasha. Mutton Biryani was so light and tasty. I expected mutton piece of Biryani would be a little more tender. Same feedback for Awadhi Biryani, too. Its spicy and different than normal dum Biryani. In my father's opinion, Mutton Kasha was delicious and perfect 🥰. Chicken Cheese Kabab was good. But too much cheese on it. The ambiance was good. And staffs are polite and well behaved.

The food was satisfactory. We ordered a half plate of chicken tandoori in which one of the chicken pieces was quite charred though they changed it after addressing. The service person was trying to sell biriyani but we were determined to not have biriyani that day 😂. Overall I had a good time .

This was first restaurant where we dined post covid19 pandemic changed the scenario... On entering our temp was checked and there was sanitizer to sanitize hands... On entering inside the restaurant found it was empty, in spite of being a festive day... Coming to food...we ordered mutton special biriyani and handi chicken... The quality was good...and portion per plate was quite enough to feed 2 people... To end it all we had phirni for dessert...which was yummy ?...

NICE AMBIENCE AND PLACE. BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED AND STUFFS ARE VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. ITS A VERY GOOD PLACE TO HAVE A DINNER WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS. SITTING CAPACITY IS GOOD. (50-60) FOODS ARE NICE. VERY TASTY. BUT LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT FROM ESPLANED AMINIA. IF YOU EXPECT THE SAME TASTE THEN YOU MIGHT FEEL BAD ABOUT THE SAME. OVERALL A GOOD EXPERIENCE. ITS RIGHT BESIDE THE UNDER CONSTRUCTING TARATALA METRO STATION GATE. SO THERE IS A PROBLEM ON 4 WHEELER PARKING. 2 WHEELER CAN ACCOMODATE A PARKING IN FRONT OF THE RESTURANT.

One of the best and famous resturant around Behala and Taratala area. Resturant is very clean, hygienic amd well maintained. Prices are affordable of all dishes. Decorative is quite impressive, a old house feeling will be available through it. But I'm giving 4 stars because we ordered Biriyani, Naan and Chicken Handi Boneless. Naan and Chicken Handi was good but not very impressive. But in Biriyani there was a very small chicken leg piece and was without egg, according to the price of that it was very small. Thank You.

This place needs no introduction. Located in a prime area of taratala, it provides valet parking which is a big plus point since finding parking on D.H Road can be difficult. The ambience gives a shahi-but-modern vibe which goes well with the mughal food that the restaurant serves. The food here is delicious especially the mutton biriyani which has rewaji mutton pieces. Despite being masaledar mughal food, it does not feel very heavy while eating unlike some other places. Coming to service, it has room for improvement. The service is slow and servers had to be reminded of orders. Also we had to ask for cutlery. Overall this place is worth a visit especially if you are a fan of biriyani or the Aminia special. We tried: 1. Chicken reshmi kebab 2. Fish tikka masala 3. Tandoori roti 4. Special mutton biriyani, kolkata style 5. Salad 6. Firni

Food was good as usual and it was good to see that the restaurant maintained its quality even during high rush hours. The interior was a little ill maintained, probably due to unuse(the ground floor space). The hospitality could have been better but that again can be excused given the density of people being served.

THE first feature of any restaurant is to focus on the quality of the food. So that the name of the restaurant is bad when food quality is very poor, Then the people called the restaurant is very bad becouse bad quality food served to table on the guest. 2nd of think how clean that restaurant is. Keep an eye on him very well. Also keep an eye on how much the staff of that restaurant is paying attention to the servings. I think aminia Restaurant is very carefully about all this maintenance aspect. My self have been associated with this restaurant for 4year and i continued to this restaurant. This restaurant is mainly family based. I know the reason so i gave a 5 star rating. ...

Located at behala with a seating capacity of around 40-50people, this place needs no introduction. Aminia is one of the top place where you can get the best kolkata biryani and we've recently visited this outlet to try that out. We've ordered, Fresh lime soda Chicken Reshmi Kebab Chicken Tikka Kebab Mutton Biryani Chicken Biryani Mutton Tawa Masala Mihidana with Radi Among all these items I would definitely say that both the biryanis and the mutton tawa masala was top notch. Loved the texture of the biryani and the tender of mutton. Kebabs were pretty good as well. Loved each and every item. People living in behala, If you're craving for biryani this is the place to go. Lovely ambiance, courteous staffs and amazing biryanis. What more can you ask for. Happy eating.

Aminia does not require any new intro, it's always been my favourite when it comes to biryani. AMINIA is one of the biggest Biryani giants in the market. I have always been a big fan of Aminia biryani. As we gradually unlock the we get to see the new normal Aminia. Temperature checkup are done frequently, visitors wearing proper masks are only allowed to enter, they have also maintained 6ft Social distancing between the Tables so, that every family can have a safe and happy meal. One thing to be noted incase if you are big group then entry is only allowed on pre booking basis, all the Tables, Cutlery everything is disinfected after every meal and they also have a sanitizer sachet on every table. Coming to the ambience Aminia Behala has a very soothing ambience. Talking about the Food Chicken resmi kebab was very soft also their Chicken Tikka Kebab was very tasty taking with the Mutton Biryani with the Mutton handi it was just superb. In order to end the meal on a happy note I had Firni it was also very tasty. On the whole my experience with the new normal Aminia was very great. Aminia is already in my bookmark for pujo.

Very unethical (so called) manager . The chicken i received was totally black with blood clots . Firstly the manager came and told us that it's not blood . But when I tried to make him understand he was like " this happens everytime" so I asked them to change the piece (when i just took one little slice of it . I seen the blood clots . So I didn't ate that chicken and requested them to change it) . The just went away and didn't came back . I asked them where is the replacement ? They were like there was nothing wrong . As he was saying he was the manager . He called the Cook he also agreed with us and told that was their mistake but the manager was like not still it's not their mistake . At final they decided to give the cash return but it was useless what would I do with it ? I went there to enjoy some meal with my family which I didn't . I also visited several times there before but this was my first time . Felt very irritated . The manger is very unprofessional

I had ordered today through Swiggy from Behala Aminia after a long time(Your Swiggy order summary for order no. 86801594746) . Out of my stipulated orders, Tandoori Roti was missing. I complained swiggy and they have refunded money for the same. I am not sure if fault is on Aminia side. Swiggy will probably investigate. After that once we started dinner, found that Chicken Tikka Kebab and Chicken Reshmi Kebab were stale and rotten. We had to throw them to dustbin and we had to manage with remaining food which were ok. But quantity for chicken varta was not very less for the Rs. 210 a plate. For Kebabs each plate was Rs. 235. Most importantly the harassment with my family was very bad on a day of Dussehra. Wish no one faces such situation. I had stopped ordering from Aminia knowing their bad quality. After a long time I took a chance and here I stand . :-( Wish there is a place to share snapshot

Ineffecient staff, when ever I am asking any waiter they don't know any thing there is only one guy taking orders. I had to wait for 30 minutes to get my bill it was exactly 30 minutes I had to tell every waiter to get me my bill. Never going again to this restaurant

Very bad ambience, horrible staff behaviour, ... They didn't even gave a seat for couple though the restaurant was empty ... They literally forced to share a seat with another couple.... Worst experience.

Nothing similar to the original Aminia in new market area. The biriyani here is very spicy, which does not suite my pallete. Tikka kebab had heavy colour applied.

I've been a visiting this restaurant for quite a while, but the latest order was beyond horrible. The quality of the food was the worst(kinda burnt). This time I was really annoyed by the quality of food. Wish this problem will be resolved soon and have the potential to please the customers.

Aminia is a name that has been associated with Kolkata for a long time. The place has been hopping thanks to its good quality items. I recently gave a try to their signature double chicken roll, egg roll, and mutton biryani. In my opinion, the rolls were clearly the best. Char grilled chunks of chicken were tossed in onions and green chillies and further wrapped in a flaky parantha. This one has to be on your go-to list. On the other hand, the egg roll was also a very well-attempted item. The roll had a nice, bite-sized omelette with onions and green chillies. The mutton biryani was a totally different story for me. I had high expectations for their biryani. However, it was not up to the mark. The mutton piece served had fat and not meat. Also, I found the rice to be slightly on the bland side. To sum up my experience, one must try their variety of rolls.

Nice restaurant with lovely interior. Food is good. We ordered chicken tandoori, chicken biryani and mutton galouti with roomali rotis. Tandoori and biryani was 4.5/5 but mutton galouti was not that good as compared to other places we ate. Ambience- 3/5 Price -3/5 ( Expensive but it is reasonable, once in a while dine out is fine) Food- 4/5 Staff- 4/5 Once in a while you can visit with your family and friends if you are looking for a good mughlai restaurant.

Wanted to visit this restaurant from a long time and finally that happened. A friend decided to throw his birthday treat in Aminia. I had a lot of expectations going in because of its reputation. This restaurant is very easy to find, located on diamond harbour Road just after Behala pathakpara. On entering I was taken aback by how beautifully the place is designed. Very spacious and lovely ambience. The different table partitions were made of beautifully decorated glass paintings. The only thing that could have been arranged was a little slow music. The ACs worked fine. I'll be reviewing the dishes one by one. 1. Fish seekh kebab - Well prepared with the right amount of spices. Had nothing to complain. You could actually feel the fish while chewing which was good. 2. Chicken tandoori - I loved this dish. The chicken was very tender and tasted very nice. A must have if u visit here. 3. Peas polau - Very light with green Peas. Just what you would get in every other restaurant. 4. Fish Tikka Masala - Now this dish was a disaster. We ordered this because one of our friend does not eat chicken or mutton and this was the only fish item they had on the menu. The first bite would literally make u cry as it was so spicy. I do not know what fish was given or how the dish was prepared as nothing tasted of fish. 5. Special mutton biriyani- biriyani was quite good. The potatoes and mutton were quite soft and the amount was more than enough. An advice if u order special biriyani then it is enough for two persons. But as far as the reputation go I was expecting a lot more from their biriyani. I have had much better biriyani in other restaurants. 6. Murg Musallam - This was supposed to be the highlight for our lunch. This was ordered by my friend a day before and we were in so much anticipation as how the dish would turn out. After it was delivered to our table it looked yummy with all the gravy, butter and cashew garnished on top. But when we took a bite all hopes went down the drain. It tasted so bland. The spices nor the gravy had gone inside the chicken. More or less it tasted like simply boiled chicken. At the end we had fresh lime soda and mango firni which was quite good. As for my opinion it was an ordinary experience and maybe will not visit until I hear good reviews from others.

Aminia is a great place for dining out. Although the price is a bit too high but the food quality is outstanding and the waiters behave very well too. Will always prefer this place for dining. Worth every rupee.

First thing I want to say it’s really a nice restaurant to dine-in , overall the food was great, yes it took longer wait time than expected but no complain about it was too good only slight disappointment was Lahori Chicken.

👍👍 Recently visited this place and trust me, it was worth every penny. The ambiance was great. We had Mutton Chello Kebab. The kebabs were very juicy and tender, I couldn't stop drooling! The egg yolk was runny and just perfect. The rice portion had a nice fresh smell and all together it was magical in...

😐 Simply come here for the atmosphere and history. Nothing should be eaten here. Cold coffee was a letdown. It was cold water that had been sweetened with a pinch of coffee. The fish kaviraji was satisfactory. Despite the fact that there is a no-smoking sign on the premises, I observed people smoking...
