I visited this Arsalan outlet numerous times. Still one of the best biryani in town. Undoubtedly you can trust this brand for biryani. Usually I order Arsalan special mutton kebab and special mutton biryani. Today I also tried Hyderabadi mutton biryani. I didn't like Hyderabadi mutton biryani very much. But the kolkata style mutton biryani was superb. 2 lovely mutton pieces were melting in the mouth. Very satisfied with the quality and quantity of the biryani. It was may be my 25th visit to this particular outlet. I will keep coming for their forever true love mutton biryani. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It's a reputated restaurant in Kolkata.. but what they did I did not expect from them. I took a lunch all food are delicious but I take two shahitukra and four finni at home. When I came home I open shahitukra container those are rotten and also fungus on top.. we can't take one bite from them. I don't know what to say about this behavior of the restaurant.. very disappointed..

I visited this place after quite some years and I was really happy to see that they have maintained their quality of Biryani as always. The golden potato, soft, tender piece of mutton, light, fragrant rice with the right amount of Ghee and oil, the light feeling of authentic Kolkata biryani mesmerized me as always. Having their biriyani is always a pleasure ❤️ We ordered a plate of chicken seekh kebab, 2 plates of special mutton biriyani and a plate of salad for 4 people. It was already more than enough.

' Mouthwatering Restaurant " Tasty dishes are available. Only hot and fresh food is serving here. A popular restaurant in kalkatta city. Well behaved serving crews. Helpful management. Variety of menu is providing. Price compromises with taste. Need to queue for long time to taste historic dishes. #Arsalanrestaurantkalkatta

Biriyani was really good both in terms of quality and quantity and the ambiance inside the resturant was also really good and the presentation of food was awesome .But we went on Sunday so no of customers were little bit high so the services provided by the staff were little late because they need to attend more no of customers . your orders will take time to be prepared .But in general staffs were really co operative and well behaved . overall in terms food quality and taste it's a must try place inside Kolkata .

It is beautiful. Biryani is awesome as usual. Quantity is more than sufficient. And their firni is out of the world! They welcome everyone in a lovely manner. Only thing is that they need to serve more mutton pieces without the fat.

Good place..... Their biriyani is famous... Also I love their phirni... They suggested chicken lahori... which is delicious. But their cold drinks pricing is ridiculous ... For 1 glass they charged 60/- ..... . That's the con.

Arsalan Restaurant mainly popular for biriyanis but many types of other testy foods are available there.Arsalan is the best place to eat real mughal khana in kolkata......spices are quite unique.....The smell of the biryani itself makes the human crave. Biryanis of arsalan is also very tasty.Arsalan phirni can act as a good desert after an excellent... The biryani is so awesome. The place can be visited with friends and family....Guys Arsalan have so many branches. But if you looking for the best branch I would like to suggest you to choice the park circus branch.I was so happy with the taste and I would like to go there again and again............... I would like to suggest you for visiting once this place, you’ll be really amazed.Thanks. Hope my opinion is informative to you............

A must try place in Kolkata for all the biryani lovers out there. You should try their kabab, it was just delicious. There are two seating arrangements available, AC and Non-AC. Service takes a little bit time, owing to more number of customers. Nevertheless, it's taste is unbeatable. Recommended 10/10.

The taste is not upto the mark... Experiencing disappointment with Kolkata biriyani can be disheartening. The anticipation of indulging in fragrant rice, succulent meat, and delicate spices might set high expectations. However, the disappointment arises when the biriyani fell short of these ideals. It is too pricy as per the taste.. It is definitely not recommended biriyani centre I would say!!

We went to the first floor of the restaurant, this floor was very elegantly decorated and also had AC. But, we had to wait for very long for getting a table. We tried their: • Chicken Malai Kebab (priced at Rs 399) • Chicken Garlic Kebab (priced at Rs 344) • Chicken Achari Kebab (priced at Rs 344) • Mutton Biryani (priced at Rs 369) • Masala Kulcha (priced at Rs 130) • Chicken Kassa (priced at Rs 274) • Cold Drink (priced at Rs 60) Except the Chicken Achari Kebab the rest of the kabebs were really blant in taste. The rest of the food items were good in taste.

Arsalan is King of Mughalai foods in Kolkata, During the Festive season you have to wait for long hours. Best to have Mutton special Briyani.. Mutton Rara and Malai kebab. The list is not over, the price is moderate to high maintaining the quality. Good to visit with family and friends... nothing to complain about. The hospitality by their staff is superb 🫶

Chicken Biryani (1 pc) had subtle taste and was delicious. It has 1/2 piece of boiled potato. You don't get raita / salan with it...so order separately if you want. We ordered raita but it was very sour. We also had Chicken Chaap (1 pc) with butter tandoori roti...and it was just wow 😋

Summarisation in one word : Over priced as it got hyped. Quality is good no doubt but costly. Cleanliness is ok. Customer service is not satisfactory. I have bought singhara and imarti for home and they packed it . While opening package at home , found imarti is missing. Now it's not possible to complain or revisit for all atleast who are busy or stay far. It shows stuffs' lack of responsibility. Again this is a famous place for snack out for years and so recommended by many people. You can hop in if you indulge in the snack items.

I heard this is the best place to taste Biryani in Kolkata. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely bad. I ordered one Mutton and one Veg Biryani, and both of them were absolutely rubbish. There was oil dripping down from the Biryani when I opened the parcel. The taste was so pathetic, even a roadside Biryani will taste better. I have visited their NagerBazar branch, and we loved that Biryani, I came to the main branch with similar expectations, but trust me, it was a very disappointing experience for us. The Veg Biryani was something that I couldn't even tell you. We could not recognize whether it was a Veg biryani or a soybean Biryani. I skipped Shiraz and others to taste the best, but I got worse. Unchi dukaan feeka pakwan, I read this in my hindi class, never thought I would have to use it here. Rs 653/- wasted. Attached are the pics for your references.

Arsalan is a trusted name when it comes to mughal and tandoori cuisine. We had dinner at the OG Park Circus branch, in their newly decorated second floor. The ambiance is really nice, with a big TV to enjoy the ongoing WC. Coming to the food, we had Chicken Haryali and Arsalan Kebabs for starters. The Arsalan Kebab is fantastic with a creamy layer like Rashomalai! For mains, we had biryani, Naan, Chicken Tandoori Butter Masala, Mutton Pasanda, and Rogan Josh. All the dishes were delicious and well cooked! Yet another foodilicious night, had a great time with good food!

This is a true haven for food enthusiasts. The local setting, coupled with prompt and friendly service, sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience. The menu is a culinary delight, featuring a splendid variety of kebabs, biryanis, and delectable Mughlai dishes. The flavors are rich, authentic, and leave a lasting impression. The attention to detail in presentation and the use of high-quality ingredients showcase a commitment to excellence. Arsalan is not just a restaurant; it's a celebration of exquisite taste. A must-visit for those craving an indulgent Mughlai journey through Kolkata's culinary wonders.

The place is not so good as for the hype. And moreover I don’t understand the logic of tipping the gatekeeper and the waiter separately. I found it pretty costly and a very uncomfortable place to dine in. There is no place to even stand properly.

We had ordered 1 Mutton biryani and 1 mutton keema and 1 butter nan. The taste of mutton biryani was awesome.. the keema was good and the Nan was average. They make the best biryani in the town and I think this Arsalan at Park Circus makes best biryani as compared to franchise across city. For 2 persons I recommend to go for special Arsalan biryani

Sm price but very very very very poor food quality in Lock down period...Biriyani's chicken peace was poor than a Street biriyni, firni quality was sooo bad I had to split it out and the chicken chap I felt like they have replaced the chicken with pigeon, rubbish !!!!.. It used to be my best restaurant, but now I put 2 star the reason they have degraded their food quality drastically in this lock down period.. I don't know the scenario after this but I strongly recommend not to order because it is just a waste of money.....

This is purely Kolkata style biryani. I love Hyderabadi style dum biryani. So, it was a different experience for me. The aroma of rice and tenderness of mutton was delight to taste. Generally, I don't like potatoes in biryani but here the potatoes are so flavourful and tasty. They don't serve raita with biryani. As the biryani is not spicy, I guess you don't need it.

Arsalan Biryani is a popular chain of restaurants in Kolkata, India. The Park Circus branch is one of the most well-known, and is known for its delicious biryani and other Mughlai dishes. The biryani at Arsalan Park Circus is made with basmati rice, meat (chicken or mutton), vegetables, and spices. The meat is cooked in a tandoor, and the rice is cooked in a separate pot with the spices. The biryani is then layered together and cooked in a sealed pot. The result is a flavorful and aromatic biryani that is both moist and flavorful. In addition to biryani, Arsalan Park Circus also serves a variety of other Mughlai dishes, such as tandoori chicken, lamb kebabs, and naan. The restaurant also has a large selection of desserts, such as gulab jamun and kheer. Arsalan Park Circus is a popular spot for both locals and tourists. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, and it can get crowded, especially on weekends. However, the wait is usually worth it for a taste of the delicious biryani.

Delicious food, fast service, great overall. There is a funny story that happened to me. I ordered a mutton biryani and some chicken gravy. It is possible that the waiter heard it wrong. He brought me chicken biryani. I didn't notice at first but when I started eating the mutton piece, it felt like chicken. And I was like, ye toh chicken jaisa lag raha hai 😂 until I realized they mixed up my order. However, I informed the waiter, he was ready to completely change the order. Since I had eaten half of the biryani, I just asked him if he could just get me a mutton piece. He did so and that too without charge. Great service.

Madrid isn't a compact town, you can go by bus, train and metro to other different places. In the town centre there are a lot of amazing places such as parks, theatres, clubs or pubs. Here the day and the night is surprisingly lively and crazy. You can usually find street artists, they are incredible. One of the highlights of staying here is visiting the Retiro, it's such a beautiful park and here you have a lot of amazing things to do, but if you prefer anything more peaceful, you can go to a lot of beautiful cafés and museums. The best time to visit the town is in the summer and in the winter, and the best time to visit the villages nearby is in the summer, because at this time you can enjoy the best weather, parties, festivals, and you will be able to value the culture and places better. Madrid is always worth visiting!

I am a regular customer to this place. But for last 6 months, the biriyani quality has completely has gone down.... Morever in the biriyani there is no chicken piece they are providing.... Either leg thin piece or small piece of chicken which is not the standard size for other restaurant. I have ordered 5 packets of biriyani, and there are thin pieces of chicken which you need a microscope to find out. Avoid this place and when the customers will be less, they will be taught a lesson to do ethical business.

Visited this place after a long 7 years. Still has the same vibe, yet the love for biryani has increased. The people are so welcoming, from entry till exit. We order mutton biryani, chicken boneless masala, tangri kebab, phirni, shahi tukra. All these were for 2 people 😅. The menu never gets old. Everything was on point. Didn't leave any trace of chicken, mutton or rice. Lip smacking, a treat to the taste buds. Our Saturday was spent well, all thanks to Arsalan.

The location is prime. It is in walking distance (still more than 2 km) from Exide more, if you are habituated to walking. Otherwise it is where a lot of traffic converges, so you would have absolutely no problem reaching there. Parking space is available up front. You can dine-in, take-away, do whatever you want. For dining in, there are two sections - Ground Gloor non-AC section and 1st floor AC section. Both are good. Let me give you a heads up that the same food in AC section costs more than what it does otherwise. But the 1st floor has its share of ambience and royalty to it. They give you Kinley mineral water for free. Tables and services are a little better. Now the food. Okay, those taste good. I tasted a lot of things. Kebabs are all great here. Don't try the Mutton Chanp, it is only bones these days and portion size has reduced. Biryani is a must. The taste of biryani is something that I will leave up to you. I would actually prefer Aminia to this. That's personal taste. If you can't finish some ordered food, they will pack it for you to take away. Definitely a must visit.

One of my favourite biryani places in Kolkata... Though this order was via Zomato legends delivery in Gurgaon. Arsalan is a legendary biryani outlet at Park circus Kolkata. Legends order was great, taste was well preserved. It was served cold which had to be heated and consumed immediately. Quantity was good as compared to the price, enough for 2 people (650 GM of Biryani)

A bit over rated restaurant. Taste has gone down in recent years. Crowd flocking in at all times would make you wait atleast 15 minutes - 20 minutes before you're assigned a seat. Staffs are courteous and but they are in too much hurry. They just want you to finish off your food fast and leave so that next set of people can come in. This hampers the whole experience of dining in. Mutton biriyani was good. Avoid Mutton Chaap. This was just waste of money

This place needs no introduction.Every person born in Kolkata knows how amazing food they are serving for the last few decades. We go mainly to eat kebabs and biriyani (authentic)😎

  • 5/5 Atmadeep C. 2 years ago on Google
According to me, this is the best place to get Kolkata-style Biryani. Arsalan almost always maintain their best standards when it comes to Biryani and rarely, if ever, disappoint. Their service is also fantastic and they are taking all necessary precautions to maintain a clean and sanitized environment within the restaurant.

Calcutta's own, Calcutta's icon, and still one of the finest mutton biriyani-s you can get anywhere in the city. Lightly flavored long-grained rice, succulent pieces of melt-in-your-mouth mutton, and that iconic fragrance.

Chole bhatura and samosa is their main attraction and mainly they use sudhh ghee and the place is neat and clean as well as you get all type of payment methods.. but the price is fair according to its quality and quantity..

This is the famous sweet shop in burrabazar, where you get all items made in pure ghee. Sitting arrangement is there. One gets lassi, chole bhature, chops, Raj kachori, dhokla, namkeen etc.Always fresh and tasteful Sweets and snacks. Theri all items were sold out upto 8 pm, after that they distributed rest items to poor peoples after closing the counter. They never repeat the rest items to next day.

Sweets are awesome but others not so good. Instead for me bhikharam is best . They charge high. If you have money try street food from Girish park instead of here its a market area thts why every stores charge lots. And marwari were there unko bhai 1-2 plate se mtlb show off hai, but for bhukads like me and others this is not a good place..😅😅😅

The taste of the sweets are amazing. Definitely worth it. The only downside is that it is situated in a highly congested area so access is challenging at most times.

This place is home to authentic flavors from the Indian culinary styles. The kebabs are just amazing. Chicken and mutton are well marinated before they are being cooked. The aroma and the flavors are mind blowing. Amazing stuff members, they are very welcoming. And the ambiance is a blend of Mughal interior living in a British colonial structure.

The place needs no introduction. It is always packed and finding a table can be a challenge at peak hours. Thankfully we visited at around 7pm and got a table immediately. We were a group of 12 so we got to try a lot of different kebabs. We tried Mutton Reshmi kebab, chicken Reshmi kebab, tandoori chicken and chicken hariyali kebab. All the kebabs are exceptionally well made and melts in your mouth. But mutton reshmi and chicken hariyali kebab needs special mention. These two were really lip smacking. Next as usual we tried the mutton special biriyani. It's normal biriyani with little bit more rice and one extra piece of mutton. But the rice quantity can fill two people. We ended our dinner with a firni. Tastewise I would say that the biriyani was good but not exceptional. I would really recommend the mutton reshmi and chicken hariyali kebab to everyone. The firni was also okayish. The service is ok at best. They had mixed up our kebab order first but later they rectified it.

We came here because it was in a great location compared to our accomodations and it came highly recommended from some YouTube videos we saw before our trip. We tried just a little of everything: egg biryani, veg biryani, fish Tikka, mixed veg, the garlic naan.. but what stole the show was the fish kebab. It was a bit on the pricier side but worth every rupee.

One of the best Arsalan outlets I've visited. The staff here are very friendly and helpfull. Nothing new to talk about the dishes, they've always been brilliant and delicious. The ambience was soothing and beautiful specially during the evening, about the time of sunset. Overall it had been a wonderfull experience for me and my friends.

This restaurant is located near 7 point crossing in Park Circus area. It is quite spacious and clean. The staffs are friendly and attentive. There are two seating arrangements - ac and non ac. The ac. restaurant is on the first floor and the non ac is on the ground floor. They also have people to assist you in parking outside the restaurant. The food is tasty. We had ordered mutton biryani, chicken biryani, dal makhani, garlic naan and plain naan. Everything was tasty and up to the mark.

Highly recommended🔥❤️ Went yesterday around 2pm. Both ac and non ac section was packed with people. Had to wait for 25mins to get a seat for 2 people in the ac section. But it was worth it. Best mutton biriyani in Kolkata and this outlet of Arsalan is much better than other outlets in the city. The special mutton biriyani was delicious with two big chunks of mutton pieces. We also ordered mutton stew which is their signature item and half plate tandoori chicken which was super juicy and fresh. The salad at 60rs or 70rs i guess was best as per the quality and quantity. We also tried their firni which was just perfect as it was not too sweet :) Will visit again soon :)

The Biryani is just awesome here, especially the Mutton Biryani. The kebabs are subtle and juicy. You should try the Haryali and Reshmi Kebabs. The ambience is good here. If you want to dine here with your family, just come in a little early as it gets busy during the peak lunch and dinner hours.

Even though we arrived a bit early and couldn't try their other dishes, the food at Arsalan, Kolkata, didn't disappoint. The biryani tasted good, although I found the price slightly higher than expected. However, my friend thoroughly enjoyed it, maybe because he got a large piece of meat 🤣. Jokes aside, it's definitely worth considering if you're looking for Halal food.

The new Arsalan Restaurant is just what they needed to go to the next step. Somehow I feel other Arsalan restaurants taste different from the main Arsalan restaurant in Park Circus. We ordered Biriyani and mutton chap and Paratha and absolutely my favorite place to go for Biriyani and this is the set combination we always have. Along with that I also had Haleem last time, which wasn’t that great! But it was seasonal speciality.

Highly disappointed. Tried food for the first time at Arsalan and was expecting good quality, but it didn't turn out that way. Ordered mutton biriyani and chicken rezala for takeaway but the mutton piece and potato wasn't up to the mark and there was no egg in the biriyani. Total cost of these 2 items per person was around 630 Rupees which was a huge price for the food provided. Quality wise too at best average, hope they improve!

The best restaurant for mughlai and indian item in Kolkata.. It has several branch now in kolkata. The story begins when it was started almost 20 years ago in the year of 2002. That time there was very few restaurants setup of mughlai with this kind of decoration, ambience and seating arrangements. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊 Recently they have opened a new branch near South city mall, at prince anwarshaw road. If I have to rare it on the basis of food quality, service, ambience, all the categary will get 5 stars. Actually Arsalan is the best mughlai restaurant in Kolkata.

Once on my flight back to Delhi , my sister had given us Biryani for food as it was dinner time , Biryani was full of flavor and with huge chunks of mutton, afterwards I came to know it came from Arsalan, so this time I went to their Park Cricus outlet for lunch , had ordered mutton stew , mutton biryani and khamiri roti firani .Mutton stew was delicious with whole lot of boneless chunks and Firani was absolutely delightful and their signature Biryani had same flavour full fluffy rice and a huge chunk of juicy and soft mutton pice plus potato also. Food and experience I shall cherish forever.

I visited for the first time and am from banglore. One thing I realised was biriyani is tooo mild to be called a biriyani. Not much of flavours, very subtle flavours. Wouldn't recommend to anyone from south to try if you like the south Indian flavour full biriyani!

😐 Simply come here for the atmosphere and history. Nothing should be eaten here. Cold coffee was a letdown. It was cold water that had been sweetened with a pinch of coffee. The fish kaviraji was satisfactory. Despite the fact that there is a no-smoking sign on the premises, I observed people smoking...
