I
will
try
to
keep
it
short.
So
got
my
Dad
admitted
to
the
hospital
for
a
ureter
stone
treatment.
Cashless
process.
The
consultant
doctor
had
provided
a
list
of
medical
tests
to
be
done
prior
to
hospitalization.
We
did
get
the
same
done.
Its
well
understood
that
claims
for
all
these
medical
tests
fall
under
pre-
hospitalization
investigation.
We
shared
the
reports
with
the
consultant
doctor
and
then
he
prescribed
OT
with
the
exact
line
"X-Ray
KUB
on
admission".
The
purpose
of
this
test
is
to
check
the
location
of
the
stone
before
they
start
the
OT.
The
RG
Stone
Urology
and
Laparoscopy
Hospital
offers
us
a
2-day
package
of
INR
60000
under
the
cashless
admission
process
of
INR
60000
and
says
"It
excludes
any
cost
incurred
for
medical
investigations
during
the
course
of
hospitalization
and
any
for
blood".
I
told
them
that
it's
a
cashless
process
and
should
cover
at
least
any
cost
incurred
for
medical
investigations
during
the
course
of
hospitalization
after
admission
and
the
hospital
should
send
all
bills
to
the
Insurance
company
and
then
let
the
Insurance
company
come
back
as
to
what
would
be
approved
and
what
not.
The
Hospital
staff
said
no
you
have
to
pay
all
the
money
right
away
for
any
investigations/medical
tests
in
due
course
of
hospitalization.
I
called
up
my
corporate
insurance,
and
they
too
agreed
and
said
the
hospital
should
NOT
be
charging
me
any
money
for
the
investigation/medical
tests
in
due
course
of
hospitalization
and
the
cost
will
be
borne
by
the
insurance
company
once
the
hospital
sends
the
bills
to
them.
The
hospital
staff
said
they
would
not
send
any
bills
for
the
investigation
to
the
insurance
company.
I
asked
for
any
documents
which
specify
such
a
clause,
they
said
we
can't
give
it
to
you
and
talk
to
your
insurance
company.
I
asked
can
you
give
me
an
official
document
specifying
the
breakup
of
the
INR
60000
package
they
said
no
we
cannot.
They
forced
me
to
pay
the
money
for
the
investigations/medical
tests.
Bad
behavior
and
ill-treatment
at
the
TPA
counter.
My
fight
or
words
are
not
for
money.
It's
about
what
is
right
and
what
is
wrong,
what
is
the
process?
Just
suppose
tomorrow
for
some
reason
things
go
sideways
and
the
cost
of
investigation/medical
test
goes
up
to
INR
50,000
how
would
one
pay
it
in
such
a
hospital?
I
can't
speak
for
others
it's
my
view
I
will
probably
not
come
back
ever
here
and
if
someone
asks
I
would
not
suggest
one
either
but
again
it's
every
individual
to
decide
for
themselves.
Those
2
Stars
I
gave
are
for
the
doctor
who
did
the
OT
and
took
care
of
my
father,
not
the
hospital.
Maybe
everything
is
not
bad
about
the
hospital,
they
are
good
things
and
are
some
good
people
too
I
met,
but
a
scar
never
goes
away
easily.
