I have visited Priyavada Birla (Durgapur) for my father's cataract surgery, although I used to visit PBAEH Kolkata as well.  I would say services are excellent and very fast. All doctors and staffs are very helpful. Staffs are taking special care of patients. I am really thankful to Ms. Suchanda Bhattacharya for guiding each and every step during treatment. In terms of hygiene factor, I can say best and cost wise affordable. The only thing is to need improvement of lady receptionist behavior and I have seen in my last three visits that she is a little bit rude while dealing with patients and attenders. She can be polite and cool. :-) Overall, I will strongly recommend for treaement in this hospital.

I visited this hospital today. Here Treatment is good with efficiency. Not only one time check up but also five time will be done here and then gave me final report. Doctors and nurses are very careful and good in behaviour.

It was my first time experiencing this hospital. The staff members were very polite and the doctor asked very real questions about my eye problem. I totally liked this hospital and I guess it is improving on it's own so I don't need to mention any problem.

I have came in this hospital for treatment of my mother of age 72 years. Consultation fee is Rs. 200/=. Hospital is very neat and clean. For cataract surgery of one eye costs Rs. 16500/= with Indian lens Aurovue including all test and fees. Doctors, staffs and nurses are very helpful.You have not to worried about your patient, all help is provided by hospital staff. Special thanks to Sampa for her help to my mother. This hospital also run a veg canteen where meal charge is Rs 60 only. Hospital is well connected by road and very near to NH 2. Interested person can visit the hospital. Sunday is closed.

It's a great hospital for eyes. I think it is best after DISHA eye hospital in Durgapur. The doctors here are very wise and are very understandable. They accurately check the eye power and examines the eye very precisely with various machines to ensure that there is any complications or disease related to eye. Not me only, other citizens of Durgapur also told that it's the best for eyes.Here in the hospital you will be able to make order for your specs, the frames available here are very stylish and of good quality. I myself had check up my eyes twice from here only and I'm very much satisfied with it

Few days ago I visited priyamvada birla durgapur for an eye checkup & they charged 200 ₹ for the process. There was 1 patient before my name was been called out, & for this they took near about 3 hrs. 1st of all in this situation of global pandemic COVID-19 hygiene has not been maintained. The auto ref was not performed by any optometrist (as supposed to be) but by a non - medical staff of the hospital, who had no idea how the autoref works even. Now for eye screening & retinoscopy same non medical staff performed & the glass prescription they provided even worsed my vision instead of making it clear. Trail frame used during the procedure was not disinfected after used by & if asked to disinfect either they would deny or make make you sit aside for another 30 mins. Thus very bad experience, wastage of money & time, very poor service not recommended.

Hygiene is not maintained in considering the situation of COVID-19

Even after booking the appointment with Disha eye I choose to experience the newely opened Birla Eye Hospital. So My experience with Priyamvada Birla Eye Hospital is quite good. You will feel like a king here as it is very new so rush of patient is very low and in morning time I am the only patient over here and process will happen quickly. Doctor also given us enought time to listen to our problems. The only problem which I found is hospital should give soft skill training to the sisters. As some sisters was working like robots. And with time the attitude will change more. When the patient flow is low, if they welcome the patient with warmth it will make the day. And also please tell your sister atleast explain the patient the checkup she is going to do before actual doing it.

Worst eye hospital ever. I did regular eye check up and the power they noted was very different from my previous one with was done by Disha eye hospital. So I started doubting and they I went to two different hospital and found that yes the power which Priyamvada gave was totally wrong and with huge difference from the real power. Shame!

Very worst experience. My father has done cataract surgery under Dr. Supriya Singh. I'm not satisfied and successful after surgery, as my father suffering very much eye problem after surgery. I request to the management please look into the matter.

Today 6/11/18 at 12 noon by telephone I was asked a very simple question about their openings schedule but a receptionist madam told very very rudely and kept the phone in the middle of the conversation. I have a recording of this conversation.

Worst experience ever at the front office of Durgapur branch. The receptionist first asked me to stand straight before talking to her and then asked me to fill up registration form. Although the hospital was empty she said that I can only fill up the form while seated. I said is there a problem if I do it standing then she rudely said yes she has a problem. I finally could not stand this attitude and left the place. The entire staff was a witness to this at 4 PM 15th July 20017. Please cross check with CCTV footage and see how I entered the hospital with a 70 year old patient and was insulted out within 2 minutes of entering. If this is the kind of attitude of staff, God help this hospital

The Hospital is wonderful and very helpful. Here the doctors actually care for patients and the staff is also very helpful. Doctors always give correct advise and not trying to make money by recommending unnecessary medicines or surgery. Overall the hospital is very cooperative. !!!
