I am listing down the Pros and Cons of this restaurant, following my personal experiences. Pros - 1) Standard quality foods 2) Wide variety of Chinese dishes 3) Safe packaging for home delivery Cons - 1) Highly priced dishes & doesn't justify the quantity being served. 2) Quantity served is so less that you will regret while paying the bill. 3) Doesn't offer Value For Money AT ALL. Not highly recommended. ☺️

Fantastic food as always!! Located near Sinthi More beside Trends more specifically. Lovely atmosphere and very welcoming attitude and polite behaviour of all the employees will please you the most. And food is as usual, THE BEST! Wonderful experience overall and highly recommended!!

Moderate food and service. Average pricing with minimal decor. Though the outlet is small yet the ambience is quiet cosy.

Visited thousand times to enjoy delicious Chinese dishes . Ambience is quite similar like other Chowman branches ( one lord Buddha wall sculpture with some Chinese words in wall and some soothing classiical Chinese music). It's very neat and clean with tidy bathroom also and staffs are well behaved, they ask u for every actions like what type of water u would take house water or mineral water ,u r ready order or not, u need help with menu or not, whether they serve dishes in ur plate or u help yourself. They have a parking lot front of restaurant. Lastly about food among drinks they have 6 to 7 options. If u r fan of squid plz try Mountain Chilli Squid (super hot) Sweet and Spicy squid as starter. In chicken option u can choose Lat mai kai Or Chicken with Basil. Among Noodles I love just normal Hakka Noodles. In main course option u can choose whatever bcz all are so good and quantity is enough for two people. Lastly in desert option u can choose Truti Fruity or Brownie with Vallina ice-cream.

Amazing place if you really wanna enjoy authentic Chinese food. The ambience was maintained and the staff were well groomed. Kids loved their friendly gesture of giving chopsticks. Rates were as par the level of food . Food wasn't oily and the fresh serve drove me crazy .... leaving wanting for more ... Will recommend a visit to feel the impact or experience the taste . Loved it totally .

Kolkata it is and there are desperate souls like me who just can't get enough of Chinese food! The Sinthi outlet isnt that big, with an odd 7-8 tables only and is often crowded. My order: I have to be total honest here. I had made up my mind to try out absolutely new dishes this time. I am new to experimenting, but I wanted to. Unfortunately, they weren't able to serve a major part of my choices due to unavailability. But I can't complaint about the food taste. Enjoyed everything I tried.

Recently, been here for dinner. I had long planned to visit this place as my zomato pro could be used here. We were two and went on a week day. It was filled. Though the space is compact but the way they're sanitizing is praiseworthy. Starting from temperature check to sanitizing bags separately everything is being carried on properly. Coming to the food, both the quality and quantity was worth the price. We ordered: _Starters_ •Chicken Sweet Corn Soup •Drums of Heaven (8pcs) •Coriander Burnt Egg Fried Rice •Chilli Honey Prawn (highly recommended if only you like sweet taste) Each and every item tasted so delicious. Moreover, it was more than enough for both of us. Another thing currently they're not packing your left overs. They would provide you with containers you've to pack it yourself due to Covid-19 protocols. • Fresh Lime Soda.

It was an overwhelming experience. Service was quite fast. Staffs here are so well mannered. Most importantly quality of the food was outstanding very thing was super tasty and fresh❤️. It is a very good experience. The behaviour of the staffs are good. We decided to change the table. And they help us to do it. The ambience is also really good. The waiter and the other staffs are very descriptive about the menu and also suggested us a good food. Overall this place is good.

Best Chinese means Chowman. Loved the ambience. Well mannered staffs. Taste is awesome. All the items were tasty. And they give a lot of quantity. 1plt rice and 1 plt chicken can be easily shared by two. Price us reasonable.

Well decorated .. As always well known chowman flavours. long ques in festival days bcz of high demand u can get squids .shrimps porks and ofcouse chicken mutton in non veg ..

Good Chinese food found here, the rice quality is superb, pork item not up to the mark as I expected. You can have lovely food over here.

Everything was very good in taste, quality and proportion. The only minus point was the person serving didn't divide the food equally among everyone . Some got a lot some just a few spoonful

The place is on the B.T.Road near bus stand, which makes it very convenient for a quick visit. The restaurant is upmarket and the ambience is really pleasing and cozy. Food is also lovely. The management is good. But the space inside the restaurant is not enough.

I had visited this place on january which is one of the best chinese restaurent in our Kolkata 🤟.The ambience is very peaceful & nice and the interior decorations are so good 🖤, just love the vibe of the outlet.They are really maintaing top quality sanitaizing protocols , I am really impressed that they have managed to maintain their quality quite well .😎 So we ordered Mix cantonese noodles (Rs-215/-per plate) Chilli honey prawn ( Rs-375/- per plate) Pan fried chilli fish ( 475/- per plate) Chicken lolipop, chicken sweet corn soup They are really mouth watering dishes 😋 The noodles are loaded with veggis and small meats which is totally yummy .It was just the right amount of spicy with a tangy kick to it.I loved the quality as well as quantity of the food .Price is reasonable according to quality of the food.Online payment mode available.

Food served was at par to my expectations however the restaurant is too small with only 26 seaters. The waiter attending my table was not professional enough as I had to wait 10 mins to order main course after finishing off the starters. They don't take a prior booking only first come first serve is what they follow.

Ordered the non veg combo from swiggy. I had Kung pao chicken and rice with asian greens and 2 pieces of chicken momo in the combo. The food was delicious . This is the first time I tried anything from chowman and truly it was worth it. Really they are one of the best places in the city to try Chinese cuisines.Also they provide chopstick with every order which I found unique!!

A wonderful place .The ambience here is just wow .The food is also awesome .The quantity they serve per plate is enough for 2 persons.The quality of food is also great.The prices are a bit high.The staffs are ok in behaviour.It is my opinion that you serve yourself rather being dependent on staffs.The juice served here is not up to the mark.mango juice was similar to frooti. But over all a good place to have lunch or dinner .

Fantastic ambience, bit costly but authentic Chinese cuisine. I tried Roasted Chilli Pork, it was delicious and finger licking.

*WORST EXPERIENCE* They are "so soo sooo professional" that they even forget about the orders placed on telephone by their customers. They keep on stammering when you call them to know the status of his/her order. They keep their customers waiting for 2 long hours (in my case) for food to get delivered. If you are really unable to do so please inform him/her. It could happen that you are not able to provide the service due to some compelling grounds and sensible people wilI get the fact for sure. But I will make sure that, from now on, I'm not gonna order from this sh*t again.

This place serves wonderful Chinese dishes but it's not accessible for us it's take us 35-40 minus instead taking 10 minutes because tala bridge mess.

I still cannot believe that a restaurant can fool customers in such a way. I've been to other outlets of Chowman and the experience was never very good. But this time, this outlet crossed every limit. I've never paid so much for something so meagre in quantity. The pricetags wrt the quantity are so high. The portion is not even sufficient for one normal person. I feel so bad that this outlet has come down to such a level. For ₹230 I got chopsuey for merely one normal person. Whereas some paid or fake reviews claim that this outlet serves each portion which is suitable for two. On the contrary, three servings are suitable for two normal persons with normal appetite. I will definitely not visit/order from this place ever again, that's for sure.

At 10:32pm, I was forced to go to the restaurant to pickup the order. Don't order from the Chowman App. I will take the matter to the concerned authorities to look after the matter.

Chowman is always a favourite place. Best Chinese experience at reasonable pricing. The place was the perfect choice for V day celebration. Tried fish, lamb and chicken pan fried noodles. And brownie with chocolate ice cream was awesome.

Chowman definitely by now occupies a pride of place in every gourmand who cannot stop being impatient at the very sight of a scrumptious meal. The outlet near Sinthi, Kolkata proves to be no different. But beware of the queue which might put you off and make you feel somewhat dizzy even you have managed to reserve a table in advance for you n your mates. But they say; EVERYTHING COMES IN TIME TO THOSE WHO CAN WAIT. Better Luck!

The food was good but the server were not well aware of the cuisine types or the spice level and suggested us hit food when we wanted a subtle amount of spice. The lime soda was too sweet and they used sprite in it instead of soda! The interiors were good but the seating arrangement was too compact and congested. They asked us to review the restaurant and give it a five star on Zomato but I am sorry it doesn't deserve a 5stars... At max I could give 4stars yet they need a lot of improvement. But the food was tasty. To enhance the ambience they could add some music too.

It was our first experience with Chowman. We liked the food and the home delivery system is wonderful. We liked delivery packages.

The quality of the food is not so good in this outlet. The double fried lamb wasn't tender. Tasted more like chicken. The fried rice was very dry and a bit bland. I have tasted their food from the Salt Lake outlet and it was good.

Went for lunch and ordered few starters and main course items. In starters pan fried chilli fish and prawn ka seong tastes same but good. In main course we have ordered pork in diced cashew nut chilli and general tso chicken with chowman special mixed fried rice and noodles. The rice and noodles tastes very average but pork item tastes good. General tso chicken doesn't taste good. The restaurant ambience is good and staffs are helpful and supporting. There is roadside parking and restaurant doesn't accept any table booking. The payment procedure is also very good. Overall we kinda liked it but can't say it is awesome experience.

Cozy place with a seating capacity of around 25. The ambience is nice with air-conditioning and service is quick. Prices range from reasonable to moderately high. Food : 1. Crispy chilli pork - Tasty and amount is wholesome. 2. Crispy conjee lamb - Tasty 3. Golden fried prawns - Delicious 4. Lemongrass rice - very refreshing and also tasty. One plate suffices two moderate eaters. 5. Hunan chicken. - Delicious and 8 peices served . Overall , good place to hang out having tasty chinese dishes and seafood items..

Bad experience i will never visit again. In chowman' special rice there was no chicken boneless, baby corn and broccoli as mension over the menu with lots of spicy on that 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Also as we complain to waiter but were was no response. No recommendation to people waste of money
