Food Plaza is the best place to dine in safely & peacefully in over-crowded station like Howrah. The foods are really delicious & hygienic with sufficient amount in considerable low prices as run by IRCTC. The ambiance is fine. The dining place & the tables are neat & clean just like a high profile restaurant.

Well, this is not very cozy. And crowded . But one can grab a couple of seat and some food and make some good time. Price of Food is reasonable and quantity is good too. This place does have wheelchair entrance. Non veg and veg both are available.

I recently dined at the Food Plaza store and was blown away by the quality of their food. While it is pricey, it is well worth it for the lovely flavors and presentation. The place is highly recommended for anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

This is the ultimate destination for any kind of foods at Howrah station. They have a huge menu to choose from starting from North Indian thalis, south indian food, Chinese platter, juices, pastries to Bengali sweets. They also have a small counter of Domino's. This place is always crowded but they have lots of space to accommodate people at any given point. The place is quite clean and maintained. Food are delicious and quantity is good.

Located in the old complex of the Howrah Station. You will get many types of snacks, drinks, and main courses of different cuisines. On the ground floor, you will have to stand and eat, there are tables for keeping your food. On the top floor there is a sitting place. We tried Veg Deluxe Thali and Chicken Handi Biriyani. The price is okay according to the quality and quantity. The taste is nice and the behaviour of the staff is also nice. You can visit them and try something out there.

Good restaurant at Howrah Junction Railway station. You can get both Veg and Nonveg food options. Service is fast. Taste is average and quality is also average. You van come here if you are travelling through railway and have to wait for your train for some time. This place has been recently renovated, you can now find a table comfortably to enjoy your meal. Reasonably priced menu, decent taste, clean and hygienic kitchen space. Worth a visit if you happen to be in rush to catch your train.

Food court in the old complex of HOWRAH railway Junction. Food is affordable for a middle class family man .. But I find the food cold every time I buy it.. May be it's my bad luck . Some sort of News has been also there in the social media that some sort of insects has been found in the food some day .. It may be a fake news like many times . But be careful enough every single time before taking food from the counter ..

Food Plaza is situated in Howrah station. Near the platform number 8. It is popular of the passenger of night mail. In this restaurant the food quality is so much good. The price of the food is low than Indian rupee 500. The behaviour of the waiter is so kind. Here you can fill your bottle or drink water from there . You can use also washroom of the restaurant.

It has revolutionised the fooding experience of Indian railway passengers in totality. Tasty & healthy food, varieties of item, quick service, nice behaviour, reasonable price, packing facility, free drinking water and many more, all of these make it a reliable & desirable dining destination. Fully air conditioned, both standing & seating arrangements, Indian-chinese-continental dishes, from biriyani to idly, fruit juice to sweets & cakes, rolls to sandwich, near about everything that we need is available here. Food Plaza teaches us what & how to demand.

They use broom/ΰ€ΰ€Ύΰ€‘ΰ€Όΰ₯‚/Jhaadu to wipe the ΰ€€ΰ€΅ΰ€Ύ/Hot-plate every time before making Dosa/ΰ€‘ΰ₯‹ΰ€Έΰ€Ύ , when I asked to stop it, they said "we make it this way only, you decide whether to eat here or elsewhere". I request the authority to resolve this for the vital cause of hygiene for the public interest.

Excellent eatery at the old complex, good improvement after reopening. Ample seating facility along with a hugh menu. You can get all variety of food here - north indian, south indian, snacks, deserts etc. Items are not cheap here but quantity and taste will satisfy the price. Cons - they charge a lot for packaging - for parcel orders( i ended up paying 60/- for containers) What i ate - 1. Chola bhatura - 150/- two big pieces of bhatua along with a lot of chole - 10/10. 2. Chicken Biriyani- 230/- served in a 1 litre container with potato, one egg & drumstick (chicken size is average). You also get raita & some sort of gravy in 100ml container each - 8/10 3. Idli- 105/- 3 big idlis along with ample dal & chutney - 9/10.

Food Plaza was good before Covid. But after Covid and after Renovation, its service has become the worst. No Toilet facilities. I also can't use wash basin as no water in the whole Food Plaza. Staff behaviour was good before. But now it has also changed 180Β°. Staff behaviour is not good now. So I'm requesting Food Plaza to change these all.

Located at Howrah station’s old complex, a busy junction in Kolkata, the food plaza is all set to offer high-quality and chemical-free food to its daily commuters. According to reports by several media websites, the plaza is going to have a diverse range of options for passengers, right from Chinese meals to burgers, pizzas and more. Other than this, you’ll also find basic Indian meals on the menu, with thalis consisting of vegetables, rice, and dal.

I recently dined at Food Plaza, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The overall management, cashier service, and food quality fell short of expectations, especially considering the relatively high prices. Starting with the management, it was evident that there were organizational issues. The staff seemed disoriented, leading to a lack of coordination and slower service. Requests and inquiries were met with confusion, reflecting a need for improved management training. The cashier service was equally subpar. Long waiting times and inefficiencies in processing payments contributed to a frustrating experience. It’s crucial for a restaurant to have a smooth and quick cashier process to enhance customer satisfaction, but this was sorely lacking. The most disappointing aspect, however, was the quality of the food. Despite the premium prices, the dishes failed to meet expectations. The flavors were bland, and the presentation lacked creativity. It felt like the culinary aspect was overlooked, leaving customers paying more for a dining experience that did not justify the cost. In conclusion, while I understand that every establishment may have its off days, the combination of poor management, slow cashier service, and below-par food quality at Food Plaza was a letdown. I hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism to help improve the overall dining experience for future customers.

A perfect place to pick up a snack, a meal or a takeaway while on transit. Food plaza offers numerous options in food& beverages. Adjacent to it is the railway Jan Aahar, while provides clean and tasty vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals at astounding low prices. Food plaza is a 24x7 outlet and also offers a wide range of baked goodies and desserts to satiate your sweet tooth. Coffee and tea counters are separate. Rolls are available, freshly made on a separate counter. Overall, a fine and tidy place to grab a bite and sip while you travel via Howrah.

Food is good and actually best quality which you will get on train stations. Prices are a little high but it is worth as the food taste better than other places surrounding it. Sitting and cleanliness is great. Only one thing you will not like is its self service system.

Many outlet to choose from , starting from simple thalis of 20 to biriyanis to ala carte menu

  • 1/5 Abrar R. 4 years ago on Google
Ordered masala dosa. When served it was not crispy at all and had gone soft. Moreover there was very less quantity of sambhar. When I requested for extra sambhar, the waitress arrogantly said that it would take time. To top it all the chutney had gone sour. When I complained about that, they outrightly denied it. Upon insisting that they taste it, they relented and blamed the weather for it. Horrible attitude.

The food plaza is now upgraded with a complete makeover with a cozy interior as well as with addition of long list of different cuisines. Definitely you will find your choice of foods from its wide variety of dishes. The taste is just perfect and price is also quite reasonable. Though the outlet is too crowded you can expect your order to be delivered within 5-10 minutes. I have personally tasted a few North Indian, South Indian and Chinese dishes and everytime I found those items delicious and served with maintaining adequate hygiene. The parcel counter is also available for running orders.

  • 4/5 Chirantan S. 4 years ago on Google
Veri nice ambiance. A bit costly but good quality and quantity is reasonable to the price. Keeping luggage is not at all a problem. A.C. is available. Masala Dosa is a must try here. Situated inside the Howrah Junction.

  • 5/5 Debolina B. 4 years ago on Google
Excellent. Numerous times I Have eaten there, every time it is the same level of supreme quality. If you are near there, reading this, do have biryani ( 1 plate is enough for two) or fried rice. The thalis are also excellent. 1 special thali will be more than enough for two people. When the taste of the food is in the question, price doesn't matter.
