Beautifully decorated resturant with capacity of approximately 50+ people at a time. This restaurant is located at James long sarani Of Sakherbajar toward Silpara. It's on 1st floor. Nice ambience to sit and watch Road view through glass walls. Well Wooden furnished. Service persons are prompt and with good behaviour. Provide Chinese Tibetan noodles and rice items.

Had a great experience today at Haka, Behala. We availed the buffet option at the restaurant, and it was worth the money. If I remember correctly, it currently costs you around ₹549 Plus taxes. The place is very easy to locate. It is situated right beside James Long Sarani (Near Shakherbazar crossing). The staff and the manager was very courteous and friendly. All the foods were served at the table. The soup was great. I also loved the starters, especially the fish item. The main couse was also good in terms of buffet quality. I liked the fried rice more than the noodles. The prawn item in the main course was well made. You also get a chicken item and a veg dish. In desserts, I loved the vanilla ice-cream with choco chips and chocolate syrup. The darsan and the brownies also tasted good. Overall, a great experience at Haka. I will definitely visit again.

I went for dinner as well as hosted son's birthday party. The restaurant is on the crossing of James long sarani in Shakerbazar. Ambiance is excellent. Tastefully decorated interior. Seating arrangement is quite elaborate. Staffs very cooperative and serves very well. They had an intent to grow. Restaurant has got a large screen TV to watch cricket match while you enjoy your food. Now coming to food the main reason for being visiting the restaurant. The taste is good. It's total Chinese. The menu is short, you do not have much of option for main course but the recipe are good. Buffet is available during lunch hours only. Further they allow party booking. Restaurant capacity to my guess is approx 60. I hosted son's birthday party and opted for buffet menu which was quite elaborate with starters, main course and dessert. Lastly the budget. Per head will cost 500-600 for Lunch/dinner. Buffet also cost you similar. They accept digital payments. Only area of improvement is service time. Kitchen is slow so the waiting time is high. Most likely the online delivery are prioritized over the dine in guest.

Contemporary Indo-Chinese cuisine in a modern chic ambience. Friendly service and reasonable prices at Haka makes the experience even more enjoyable. We tried several starters and main courses, the Singapore noodle, green chilli chicken and lamb items were particularly nice.

We opt for buffet,all the disher were very tasty and apart from the food I would like to mention that the hospitality of this behala branch Haka was really very good. Overwhelmed by the ambience also. Price is also reasonable.

I have heard a lot from YouTubers specialy that Haka is the best place for Chinese food and affordable. But NO it's not ,they don't service complimentary drinks. Today we had their buffet and trust me guys it wasn't worthy, quality is average. Starter we got Waltons rather then dumplings which wasn't good and dry hard potatoes, only the drums where little good. And then in main course it rice has no taste, noodles were very basic, chicken recipe wasn't good just some boiled cubs in sauce, fish and prawns were little better but not good in taste ..In their Dessert section there was no icecream. It's better to order some good Chinese combo from other restaurants in half of the price with better taste. Rather than the good quality and taste evey other things: ambience,service etc was quite good .

Wonderful place. Very ambient and relaxing experience, no matter who you're with. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Food has a unique taste while still retaining authenticity on a very basic level, and somehow still manages to be amazing. In other words, there's nothing that this place lacks. I visited recently Haka, Behala with my friends. I guess this place needs no introduction as it has the best Chinese Cuisines in Kolkata. We had the Best of Hakka, which was available at just ₹399/- plus tax. For starters, we had Chicken Eight Treasure Soup which was good and Chicken Siumai, which was very tasty. The fine coating and the stuffing was delicious. For the main course we had Chicken Sichuan Sauce, Fish Chilli Mustard Sauce (it was very tasty), Mix Vegetable Chilli Basil Sauce, Vegetable Fried Rice and Mixed Meat Hakka Noodles. All the dishes were very tasty. For the dessert, there was Honey Noodles with Vanilla Ice Cream, which was very good. The ambience was also very good.

This is one of the recently opened places at Behala. With great food, good service, a location easy to reach, and prices very easy on the pockets, Haka Behala is a good place to plan elaborate brunches with your entire squad of friends and also family. . . The fish in yellow mustard sauce deserves a special mention with its not too overwhelming sauce and nice, soft fish chunks. .

Ambience - 3.5/5 Food Quality - 2/5 Good Quantity - 5/5 (It's a Buffet so Quantity is unlimited) Service - 2.5/5 Taste - 1/5 Pocket Pinch - 2/5 ( Going by the Taste and the current market competitions) I was really surprised, the place being an AC one, they had most of their items lid open inspite of only 4/5 tables where people were eating, obviously, all the items were literally cold, like merely hot. Not a single proper item I can name which I can say was really good... Except the Brownie and the Virgin Mojito which we had ordered separately apart from the Buffet menu. It's high time the management should think about, otherwise, it won't take much time, that we might see it's curtains down for Haka Behala.

One of the best Suimai I ate. ㊙️Main Course: Chicken Sichuan Sauce:- it had a mouthwatering flavour. The chicken was tender. Fish Mustard Sauce:- it was first time, I tasted Chinese, in mustard sauce combination. Its a must try, when add you visit any outlet. Mixed Vegetable Chilli Basil Sauce:- the gravy hav a unique punch of basil. Vegetable Fried Rice:- it also tastes good Mixed Meat Hakka Noodles:- now nothing can beat Gala's noodle ㊙️ Desserts: Honey Noodles:- it is basically, the Dursaan. I had a non veg lunch buffet on a Sunday. Food was good, the staff were well trained, they strictly followed the covid protocols. But there was a waiting time of around 30 minutes since all the food items were not ready although it was around 1.30 pm. For such reason could not give five stars. Overall nice experience.

Best place in town. Though this chain never disappoints though luckily people living around Behala ,Joka, and adjoining area can now taste there hospitality and food services. Located at the junction of shakerbazar and James long sarani , is eye catching if you are traveling through James long. Beautiful ambience which may gives you a vibes of residing inside mini china. Soothing music and perfect lighting makes it more beautiful. Now coming to food, they serve quite huge spread but we all opt for 399/- menu which had ?Ginger twist ?Eight treasure chicken soup ? Chicken Sui mai ?Mix meat noodles ?Veg fried rice ? chicken Sichuan sauce ?fish chilli mustard sauce ?mix veg in chilli basil sauce ?Blue lagoon ?honey noodle ? Vanilla ice cream ? Ginger candies Was quite a large place , thoroughly enjoyed each and every meal. Would recommend all the above dishes personally as it's there special menu . We took the buffet as our lunch, price less than Rs600 for each. Food was tasty and wholesome. The staff's behaviour were warm and the environment was fantastic not to mention very clean as well. The manager came over a couple of times asking about the food and grievances if any. Perfect to bring your family over. The buffet had a pretty wide range from soup to ice cream and brownies. Extreme conscious about covid situation, all were using gloves, mask and face shield. Bon appétit!

Went on 13th February 2021. Lovely ambience and loved the hospitality and special mention about the mango mustard fish which was worth mentioning... Stuff's behaviour was good 👍. Food quality and taste was also good, but if they serve food in buffet counter then may be food quantity utilisation will be efficient. Above all one very very important problem for this outlet specially is parking 🅿️. They don't have any reserved parking place. So if you drive a car by yourself then u have to worry about the parking as you will have to park the vehicle on running road and beside the no parking board. So I'll request the management of the restaurant that to solve this problem. If you avoid this problem then it will be better for you to visit this place. Overall experience was good. All the staffs are polite, service is good and moreover they interact with the customers in a very polite yet professional manner. According to the quantity and quality, foods are pocket friendly. This is the newest restaurant that opened in Behala area. The ambience and decor is really chic. Waiters are also very friendly. The food is always good in haka and this branch is no exception. Now ala carte has opened ,however buffet will open soon.

Haka has finally opened a branch here in South Kolkata. The food here is amazing. The fish items are my favourites. Also loved the Momos. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone .

Quality of the food is perfect.. Taste wise nothing exceptional..but on the better side I would say..at least for the items I ordered.. The ambience is nice..n seating capacity is also adequate. The management should think about recruiting more staffs as with the current staff strength it is tough for them to manage the crowd on weekends. I had visited the place last weekend. Though it was not very crowded, still I had to wait for my order(drum sticks..fried rice..another fish item) for around 45mins to an hour..? Surprisingly the billing took another 45mins..? Since its pretty close to my place so it didn't bother me as such.. But I would suggest only if you have lots of time in hand, then it is a nice place to have your lunch/dinner ?

I often order Chinese food from Haka & Chowman. Taste is really a matter and in this current situation, Haka is much more reliable as I felt with their transparency in maintaining of temperature and hygiene.

I have no complaints over the quality or quantity of the food . Everything was pinch perfect . But the waiters doesn't know how to serve the customers . Though the restaurant was almost empty still they were pretty ignorant on whether the customer needed anything or not . I had to poke them 5-6 times and ask them for filling my glass with water . Everything was going end except the end part . We order their sizzling brownie but there was some kind misunderstanding between the waiters and the kitchen stuff . They brought us a cold brownie . On complaining they did change the brownie with a hot one but that shouldn't happen from the a well known restaurant like Haka . The manager did apologize to us but we were stuck at the restaurant longer than we should only for a misunderstanding from their end . So that's from my end . Let's see if these guys repeat this kind of attitude when I visit Haka again .

So few days back I was at the new Behala outlet of Haka. The ambience is amazing as always and the vibes were pretty much joyful. I tried their weekend Special lunch. Check out the food menu and there must not be any doubt regarding the food and service. They are as good as anyone could think of. Menu : Starters- Chicken Eight Treasure soup - The soup tasted sweet n sour, and the pieces of chicken was veggies were very much fresh . Sui Mai - There is nothing as good as Haka's Sui Mai. I think I need not describe this dish. Mains - Veg Fried rice Mixed meet Hakka noodles Fish Chilli mustard sauce Chicken Sichuan sauce Mix Veg Chilli Basil sauce (I personally loved the fish in chilli mustard sauce and the Chicken Sichuan sauce was pretty amazing) Desserts : Honey noodles - It is basically what we call Darshan and it tastes just yumm.. Haka India opened their new outlet in Behala.This place is near Sakher bazaar at Behala.One can easily locate this place and nearest Metro station is Tollygunge metro but remember u may have to change autos or come directly via Uber or Ola. Coming this place now,it's quite spacious with quirky decors all around and u will find artsy Chinese grafitis, big Chinese letters with noodle slurrping Chinese female on walls.Baby chairs need special mention.. Staff's were extremely well behaved and polite..Service was fast..Mt Prasant the restaurant manager was really humble and down to earth person and explained the menu patiently. Quantity was really sufficient..and picket friendly with worth the quality. One can have the entire buffet at 399/plus taxes .I mean isn't it simply amazing and look what u get in this buffet menu. This place needs to improve it's food quality or else won't survive for long with this type of taste. They are lagging too behind in terms of indo - Chinese taste and in the flavors of the items listed in the menu. They have to hire some good chefs.
