Being in such a good location, it has a steady clientele and their ambience and staff behaviour are upto the mark. Food is tasteful. Portions has sufficient quantity Waiter and staffs are also cordial. Though inside the restaurant is colourful and decorated but a bit clumsy. There should have been more open space.

One of the well known restaurant is this area. They served authentic food with delicious taste. Last time we we visit we ordered Sahi polao, Mixed Fried rice, Mutton kosa & Pan Fried chili fish. The food quality are awesome. One plate of Sahi polao & Fixed Fried rice enough for 2 people. Mutton kosa Contains 4pcs of mutton & In fish plate you will get 8pcs of fish.

Today i visit "The Hatari Restaurant " for Lunch and was blown away by the experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. I started with Chicken drumstick as a starter.. And then we order for main course as chicken mixed rice and chili chicken. Food quality and quantity is very good. The service was exceptional, with the staff(Mr. Samaresh) knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our needs. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. Overall, I highly recommend "The Hatari Restaurant " for anyone looking for delicious veg and non veg options in a cozy atmosphere.

Overall a good restaurant in Behala locality .Parking is available in front of the restaurant on the James long road. You get here chicken,fish,prawns,mutton,duck,squid, lamb and pork variation .

Hatari does not need any introduction , I believe most of us has visited any one of their outlet at any point of time. We had Chicken Drumsticks is appetizer, mixed meafoon with pork and chilly pork in mains. Drumsticks coating was a little bit heavy as per my opinion. Although the mains were superb , specially the chilly pork. We all know Hatari serves good quantity in main courses so no issues on that front. Recommended.

Hatari is usually known for their mouth-watering Indian and Indo-Chinese fusion dishes 😄. But the James Long (south Kolkata) branch has raised the bar even higher. Let's go in points : 1. The service- incredibly calm guys who could bear with our choosiness. 2. The food- again incredible. As usual we get the all time best "Tandoori Chicken". We tried something new as the chef's recommendation "the Mongolian Chicken" and were flabbergasted by the taste [it became our new favorite 😍] For main course we had the typical hatari fluffiest butter naan, chicken tikka butter masala,The delicious mixed fried rice and the compulsory Chilli fish in Basil sauce. And ending it all with some lime soda & deserts. 3. The Cost- exactly double the cost of other Hataris we visited. Food was expensive but at same time it was double delicious than the other Hataris. 4. Atmosphere- Beautiful decorations and aesthetics ✨️ top notch cleanliness and it has also got biggest/cleanest washroom I've ever seen in restaurant of this category. Surely impressed 👏 and definitely worth it.

Awsm food.. and quantity is sufficient enough for two people. Every item is delicious. Specially Pan fried chili fish and chicken in red wine sauce.

Ordered Chicken sweet corn soup, chicken reshmi kebab, mutton biryani, mixed fried rice(w/o pork) , sweet and sour chicken. Soup and kebab were pretty good. Biryani was a little dry and there wasn't much flavour(on the bright side there was no extra charge on the extra potato), mutton piece was on the bonier side. Fried rice was good enough. The gravy of sweet and sour chicken was good but the meat was a day or two old maybe as it didn't taste that good.

Food quality is very good..... Always serve fresh food..... Quantity of the food is enough..... One portion of rice/noodles is enough for two person..... You can segregate the taste of each item/food seperately....... Price is little bit higher than other cousins.......

Food is really good . location-Behala . Ambience-its good enough to have 30 to 40 people together and they have some nice decorated stuff . . Taste of food-Decent, tasty food. . Price-it is reasonable and the servings are generous. . They make excellent Chinese food along with biriyani. But the Chinese is impeccable and it's a treat for people who love spicy starters,i alos tried their chilli pork and also i love fish irani kebab . lamb is also good along with mangolian prawn . . .food is really good and hygienic also. . must try mutton biriyani here.

We were celebrating a birthday here over a sunday lunch. The food was awesome, especially the portions. All the items were very well prepared, starting from Mutton kasha to the Thai red curry.This shows the verstality of the chef and we would like to thank him for making our afternoon special. The quantity served was much more than usual and we did have to take some back with us as parcel as we could not finish all of it. The seating arrangement is a bit congested, and with a couple of airconditioners not working upto the mark in the seering heat was the only discomfort we experienced.

Had Chicken Prawn Gravy Noodles and Pan Fried Chilli Fish. Food was good, a bit pricey, but tasty, especially the Pan Fried Fish. Service was good, a bit slow, but alright.

Very good. Both the ambience & food were top notch. We had ordered quite a few items. Out of which other than chicken fried rice, everything was delicious. Would recommend to try their noodles, crispy fish and mongolian chicken.

It is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. Though the prices are not so much pocket friendly, I enjoyed the food I had here. The services they provide are quite well. The waiters are quite well behaved. The place is clean and tidy. Tables are greatly organized and places. Ambience here is warm but the feeling this place gives is cool. It was an amazing experience being at Hatari Restaurant.

What I liked: Pan fried chili fish Ambience Behavior of staffs However, I didn't like the noodles. It is dry. Flavor is not upto the marks. Quantity is quite enough as per the price range.

Its chinese and mughlai delicacies are mind-blowing. Moreover the services provided by the staff are very polite.

Honestly my favourite restaurant in the city. I have been visiting this restaurant ( the Triangular Park branch) since I was a kid and not once has it disappointed me. The portions used to be more but it's still more than any other leading restaurant chain. Must Try: Mixed Chowmein Gravy, Tsing Hoi Chicken, Mongolian Chicken, Drums of Heaven, Thai Lamb and the list goes on and on.

Highly disappointed 😞. I ordered home delivery for dinner from Hatari Behala. The bonless chilli chicken was overly salted and coloured total black, may be due to over use of Soya sauce. Wok seared chicken and black mushroom rice, and Chicken prawn fried rice were also not upto the mark. The rice might be over coocked and that's why they were heavy and looked like lumps. The only thing I liked was crispy chicken. But that also tasted like Indian style chicken pakoras. It seems they are not dependable for Chinese food. And if I compare with other's offerings, these foods are far behind. I always enjoy there Indian food and that's why thought to take a chance with their Chinese delicacy. However, never thought about this experience 😢. Very sad...

There is no doubt on Hatari's food quality and quantity. They serve enough quantity to compliment the item rates. Always stuffed with customers, this place can be chaotic if you are looking for a nice and peaceful meal. Only good for informal friends or family gathering. Most times there is high wait time, so choose the best time to visit and keep time for buffer. Service is fine.

Visited this branch of Hatari first time today (13th feb 2021) and had a great experience here. We ordered mixed fried rice and pepper lamb as per suggestion from the waiter. Pepper lamb was really delicious and I recommend the dish to everyone. The ambience is great for a place in Behala. They also accept dineout payment which is also a plus point. Coming back here again soon.

It's wonderful time when you sit down around the table for dinner and discuss life. No matter where you are, it gives the sembalance of normalcy to my crazy world.

It is known for its Chinese cuisine but the Mughlai dishes are just as good as their Chinese ones. We went as a friends group and we ordered both sets of dishes and were completely satisfied. Brilliant staff, brilliant food and not too expensive. Highly recommended.

16.11.2021 food was too bad in quality. Had health issues after having noodles. At first there was lock hair in noodles. They were reluctant to change the food. But all-over the noodles tasted like rotten food preserved overnight.

The waiters were really helpful and polite and understanding. The portions were sufficient and even quite a lot. However, half of the menu was not available, such as the entire biriyani and fish items.

James Long branch is well located,with proper parking space. restaurant is specious , clean. After covid they have separated the sitting areas with curtains, which also gives u privacy. I tasted the food of Hatari since there was only one branch at Triangular park,Gariahat .. In years they opened up several outlet in different parts of Kolkata.. But in my last visit I found there was good price hike but the portion of food & quality is deteriorated a bit. Chilly chicken tasted delicious but the chicken was little hard,chewy.. Though I am very much fond of Cantonese Noodles ,but this taste was bland. Hope they will bring back their quality again..

Loved the chilli lamb, mutton biriyani, the brownie with ice cream but especially the chicken tikka masala which is a must have. The mutton was extremely succulent, however the chicken in the chicken biriyani was extremely dry and disappointing, hence one star less. Service was prompt and waiters were extremely polite and accommodating even during the rush hours.

It is in behala james long sarani near M P Birla school. Nice and authentic multi-cuisine restaurant for friends and families. Food quantities and qualities are pretty good. You may find difficulties in case you dine in alone. It has a nice ambience and clean washroom. Foods are simply awesome and mouthwatering. Chinese dishes are outstanding. Staffs are very humble and polite in nature. Overall the restaurant is awesome.

Yesterday we ordered from this outlet and to be very honest the quality of food they serve is too good. We ordered 2 plates of Veg Fried Rice. 1 plate of fish Fingers along with French fries. 1 plate of Veg Manchurian. 1 plate of Boneless Chilli Chicken gravy. The quantity of fried rice in 1 plate was more than enough for 2 person. The rice was nicely cooked and with various types of vegety in it. There was 6 pcs of fish fingers in 1 plate and the quantity of fish present inside was very much satisfying. It tasted great. The veg manchurian and chilli chicken was also very good. It was really a good dinner experience. Prices is normal for a good standard eating outlet and with such a great quality of food for me it is ok. Looking forward to try out there's other delicacies.

The mutton do pyaza is horrible.The muttons were just steamed and the masalas were not properly cooked.I think the menu should be created as per the items available here.We never get crab in this restaurant. Wastage of money

?Location- Located on the James Long Sarani near behala chowrasta. ?Food Ordered- ➡️American chopsuey - Fried noodles with soup ( Did not like) ➡️Chicken Malai kebab - Contained 8 pieces of chicken topped and dipped with cheese/ Malai which will just melt in your mouth. Served with green sauce and salad. ➡️Kronjee crispy fish- Contained sufficient no of shredded pieces of fish dipped in medium spicy sauce well fried to give it a lip smacking taste. ➡️Chicken garlic noodles- This is however better know as Hakka Chowmien having a garlic flavour in it. ➡️Mongolian chicken- Contained shredded pieces of chicken and taste is not too spicy. ➡️ Chicken gravy Chowmein- Contained mixed Chowmein- topped with shreded chicken slices, egg and capsicum. ?Verdict- Overall satisfied by thier taste, quality and quantity. Price is also reasonable. But the Chinese preparation are far better than Indian of mughlai dishes. I would give 4/5 for the overall experience here.

You Must Try Mangolian Chicken!!!

Hatari is one of my favourite restaurants. Hatari is pretty famous for it's Chinese cuisine, but they also serve some of the best Indian dishes which tastes amazing. Now coming to the food, ambience and service: 1. Food- So we decided to try some Indian dishes along with the Chinese. The quantity of food they serve, is enough for two people. They also maintain great quality. We had- ~Starters: • Chilly Pork Dry- Pork is one of my favourite meat. I love to have pork, so how can I miss a chance of having Chilly pork. There was shredded pisces of pork, the meat was tender and juicy. • Tangy Crispy Chicken- This one made me lick my spoon just like a cat does. Crispy chicken tossed in a tangy sauce and served. This one is highly recommended. • Schezwan Double Cooked Lamb- The taste was no doubt great, but people who don't like hot and spicy dishes, should not go for it. In this preparation, lamb was tossed with schezwan sauce, which made it too hot and spicy. This one was one of my personal favourite. • Fish Irani Kebab- Thought of trying this one from the Indian menu. Being a bong, we love to have fish, and what else would have been better than the fusion of fish and kebab, in the form of Fish Irani Kebab. ~Main Course: • Special Mutton Biryani- Again, being a Bong we cannot ignore Kolkata biryani right! Also this time I thought of having something from the Indian menu. Now whenever we talk about Indian dishes, the only thing that comes first in my mind is Biryani. We ordered special mutton biryani, which contains two pieces of mutton and an aloo. The taste of the biryani was no doubt great and the mutton pieces were also soft. The only way to judge a biryani is by having the aloo, if the aloo is perfectly cooked, then the biryani must be great. • Chicken Bharta- I was in a doubt, which one shall I try with biryani, then one of the staff suggested me to try chicken bharta with it. To be honest, if you take biryani, you should also try this combo out. • Nasi Goreng- Nasi Goreng is a kind of fried rice only, with pieces of meat(chicken, pork, lamb) and vegetables add to it. It is basically an Indonesian rice dish. You must try nasi goreng with a Chinese side dish. • Fakusa Zuisi- This is a preparation of suit and sour mixed fried rice, which is wrapped in omelette and served. The presentation was really beautiful. • Singapore Rice Noodles- This dish was somewhere near to Meifoon. Rice and noodles were combined, along with veggies and chicken. • Pork in Oyster Sauce- I love the preparation of any meat in oyster sauce. There were shredded pieces of pork, tossed in oyster sauce. • Mongolian Prawn Dry- This one was dry, you cannot have this as a side dish. This you can give a try if you love prawns. • Hot Garlic Chicken- You all have tried this dish previously and you know how it tastes. But I can guarantee you that you have never had a hot garlic chicken like they serve, before. • Sliced Fish in Chilli Oyster- Huge pieces of fish, tossed in oyster sauce and served. The pieces were soft and juicy, and they tasted really amazing. ~Dessert • Hot Brownie with Ice Cream- Today, almost 80% of the restaurants serve this dish, but maximum of them have some defaults. This one was just perfect. The brownie was neither too soft, nor too hard. This is also highly recommended. My overall food experience was great. Hatari never fails to overcome our expectations. Rating: 5/5 2. Ambience- The place was huge, cool, calm and comfortable. They can easily accommodate around fourty to fifty people. Rating- 4/5 3. Service- Their hospitality was great. All of them were so well behaved, they were very helpful and humble. They will help you whenever you will be having confusion regarding which one to choose. Rating- 5/5 My overall experience was again great. After visiting restaurants like Hatari, my expectations gets increased everytime.

Awesome food. Great service by the staff. They actually hear the customers food choices and suggest a better dish, based on the choice. Followed their advice and guess what, really helped me and my family to enjoy a better tasting dish with the same budget.

If you are vegetarian , go for paneer and vegetarian manchurian dishes , those are finger licking dishes.

Hatari..Behala...the restaurant of our dream is steadily compromising with standard...its shocking!It was not so a year back even...The noodles has shrunk in quantity .the chicken coating has thicken round tough pieces of chicken...the taste ..the freshness has disappeared.Yet i must speak of the service of the waiters but the manager has a steady attitude to ignore the guests. He remains glued to his place and turns a deaf ear to the grievances.
