It's a great place to enjoy Authentic Indian food. The menu is a bit on the expensive side and forces you to order Thali.

Went to indico for an evening family dinner and ordered a few different dishes. I have to say the food was delicious and the service was amazing. Manisha who served us gave us perfect service and I would have to say it’s one of the best I have ever received she was really kind and made sure that we were all ok. I would like to say thank you to everyone at the restaurant and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and would visit again.

Just finished a meal with family on a Sunday afternoon. Awesome flavours and variety. Everyone was very satisfied. So impressed compared to other "curry houses". Based on our visit we will definitely return when we visit Shirley next time.

Indico has the best biryani in Solihull. We have visited here many times before and their food is great and full of flavour. Our other favourites are Thali, fish pakora, pav bhaji, chole bhature.

Very basic Indian food Expensive for what it is Deco is really nice inside and service is good. Idk if I'd eat there again. Wouldn't recommend their burgers 👍🏻

We came to this branch as the Mailbox one was fully booked. The parking is a bit of a nightmare but it's easy to find. Decor was so vibrant we loved it. We've been to so many Indian street food places and this has made it into our top 3. Food came within 10 minutes. All of it was delicious! Service was good too. Only thing I'd say is more vegan dessert options.

My first ever Thali and wow, it was epic. Everything was cooked fresh, and was unbelievably delicious. One of the best dhals I've ever had. Service was very good and the restaurant is beautifully quirky. You need to try this place.

Nice decor and atmosphere, attentive staff and nice food, the starters which were gol goppa bombs were absolutely delicious! Mains (thali) arrived quick and were served hot and fresh, I loved the paneer curry the most from the thali. Alcohol is served there and the food e.g. chicken/lamb meat is halal.

I was disgusted when the waiter opened the toilet door with a butter knife that he took from the table and then put it back in the stand on the table. So this means when some customer use that knife they would not know what it was used for. The toilet was also unclean and had bad odour. The only good dish was lamb curry and rest food was very basic and has not had much taste. for some reason there was sugar added in all of the dishes . Never going back to this place again .

Great food, nice staff, very friendly, just a little slow. Need to be more attentive. Due to number of takeaway orders, service levels suffer for diners. Otherwise great.

Chicken tandoori leg and Wings were nice. Chicken lollipop, chicken tikka and seekh kebab were extremely dry and felt like they werent cooked fresh rather were heated up again. They didnt have much of taste in them either. Ordered the mix thaali and only good items were leg and wings. The coconut grove drink although was very pricey but tasted good and was refreshing.

Had £56 to pay and gave £60 cash. It was the first experience I ever had where the manager asked the waitress to come back and ask us if we’d like the change back. We felt embarrassed for them so of course we let them keep it but come on? What sort of service is this? Food was average and they kept forgetting to bring us things we asked for, but managed to pressure us into giving a tip. Very cheeky I must say.

I came to indico on an unexpected visit as I was craving indian food and smelt the fresh aroma of indian spices, so I decided pop in. I was welcomed and serviced by a young hospitable girl called Anusha. She was very Kind and helped us get our meal choices as it was our first time coming here. 10/10 Service and Atmosphere as the umbrellas fascinated me and the architecture in the restaurant. Will come back again.

This is a wonderful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant itself is a WOW! The food excellent. The thali plates are amazing giving you a taste of a variety of dishes. Prices very reasonable and competitive. Will definitely be going again

Yummy food. Clueless service. And a bathroom door that opens onto diners at their tables. There were more waiting staff than required, but some of them had no clue what they were doing. Brought the wrong food, delayed a meal which we asked to be brought quickly, and missed items from their bill. Very sloppy. Can't fault the chefs though. The food was amazing.

Despite eating on a very wet Wednesday night, the food was top notch. From excellent Lassi through to amazing Chicken Taka Tak I couldn’t fault the quality and taste. We all had a Thali with varying main curries. The constituent parts made for a sublime mix of flavours. I particularly liked the Chicken Taka Tak which was enjoyed with some beautifully light naan bread. The meal was finished off with a glass of Chai and a portion of Gulab Jamun. Who could ask for more? I look forward to a return visit soon. Well done! 😊

A good place to have delicious chat items. We also get items such as chole bhature, naan, paneer dishes as well a biryani. This is unique combination to have street food at the same time have a decent meal. All the items were freshly made. It took 15-20mins to get the food once the order was placed. The place has parking below in a cellar.

Lovely place but do prefer the Mail Box one for settings etc. Vegetarian briyani is over priced as there's no accompanying sauce etc or protein in it. Think the price needs looking at. Restaurant didn't have the ingredients for mango lassie. We saw the ingredients brought in. My companions enjoyed their meat gorges but I was left lacking.

Absolutely amazing food, and quality service. The food came in great time, and the chicken was cooked to pretty much perfection. I ordered the butter chicken and had plain rice as a side. Khatri, our waiter, was an absolute star. Very kind and just a lovely bloke. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Lovely Indian restaurant. Food & service was outstanding. By recommendation from a friend, she joined us at Indico Shirley and it was every bit, the special experience from beautiful food that was delicious to the the attentive staff, who looked after you and took care to make sure everyone's experience was perfect.

You can always tell if a restaurant is truly authentic and respected when there's a more than average mix of clientele..! The selection of dishes is widespread from small multiple bowls of "street food" to the array of recognisable curries and sides! The ambience is genuinely colourful with airbrushed artwork, whole wall murals and clever use of props like umbrellas and bicycles hanging in mid air! Excellent service and respect and of course the food...scrumptious and plentiful..! Moderately priced to treat yourself and with friends a couple times a month... Sunday to Thursday discount offers available too... With free parking at Asda for 3 hours, you'll have plenty of time to soak in the sights and tastes of a decent place to eat..!! Try it once at least, I've been there 4 times and thoroughly recommend Indico!

Shirley this the best Indian street food in town! (haha) My only criticism would be the service is slow, often have to prompt staff to take orders etc. Despite this food comes quickly, very nice restaurant with really good food and decor inside is cool.

I'm embarrassed to say that this is our 3rd visit since lock-down!!! Difficult to resist when the food is so yummy! Every time we've tried something else off the menu, we haven't been disappointed. The staff our very helpful and friendly. We would recommend you give this place a try soon.

Unfortunately just after writing the below review we both didn’t feel very well at all so will not be returning. Quirky decor throughout and quite a nice place to sit and have a meal with friendly staff. Unfortunately they do not offer any baby changing facilities so we had to use Asda. Even if the food was amazing we wouldn’t return due to this on its on. Food was ok but nothing special and would feel expensive if you were paying full price. We had a 50% off deal and this seemed about right, even though they forgot to put it on the first bill. Seemed a bit close to the next table with the pushchair position and only one member of staff wearing a face mask throughout. Nice mocktails.

We've been here a few times now. Also had a fantastic takeaway during lockdown. The lamb biryani is amazing. Recently had dinner at the restaurant. I had the meat thali. Very good. Chicken curry is really good. A little expensive. However, the decor is excellent and the restaurants art and ceiling display is amazing. They have a cocktail menu. Check out happy hour. The chickpea curry with naan is very tasty. See you again.

  • 4/5 Asma P. 4 years ago on Google
The food is nice but I really wished it had a spicy kick. Nevertheless, the food was still tasty - we had the thali and I was pleased with each small dish as it had its own taste and flavour. The inside of the restaurant was bright and welcoming with plenty of quirky decor you can capture while you wait for your food to arrive.

We were addicted to the pani puri from here. We would come weekly just for this. So disappointed you are no longer doing pani puri no more. Please bring it back to both your restaurants and also on Deliveroo. It really was the best thing ever :-(

  • 2/5 Raveena C. 3 years ago on Google
You pay £7 for 2 naans with £3.5 service fees and this is what you get- burnt naans. Paneer roll was dreadful. Truly disappointed with lack of professionalism that didn't bother them to replace naans. Never ordering again.

Usually we dine in at this awesome restaurant due to the relaxed and contemporary atmosphere however due to Covid-19 have been forced to dine out/take-away. That being said, the food and service quality remain amazing and exemplary. We ordered our usually mix of starters and mains - everything tasted great and as it was for a special day, it made the entire occasion one to remember. Butter chicken, Fish pakora and Lamb biryani are my personal favourites and highly recommended. We can't wait to eat from Indico again soon - thank you!

Gorgeously tasty takeaway delivery last night. We had a menu offer for 4. No regrets thank you Indico as always, first class!

  • 1/5 Kirti G. 3 years ago on Google
Absolutely awful seevice due to being understaffed, did not apply 50% discount correctly due to miscalculation and put chicken on the table instead of paneer (we are strict vegetarians and did not know this until we ate this). On top of that the manager offered no additional compensation and just shrugged his shoulders and said what do you want me to do. Will never go there again

Ordered a delivery well in advance for a specific time through Just Eat, but the food arrived half an hour earlier than it was meant to which was a bit of a nuisance. Food was also a bit cold, colder than I would normally expect for delivery. On the plus side the food was ok quality, and the portions were decently sized. Wouldn't order a delivery from there again, but would be willing to eat in.

Only been there once and I don’t know why I waited so long. The food was amazing; so tasty and full of flavour. Probably the best Indian restaurant I’ve been to. The only downside was there service. Although polite and friendly, it was a little slow and we kept getting brought someone else’s food to our table

The world is big; India exemplifies this with its choice of dishes. The British have had their flavour of Indian cuisine for a while. It is much in need of a refresh; this is where Indian Street food works its magic. Indico Street Food takes the baton and delivers dishes that are exciting, with a new twist on its Indian brethren. The atmosphere inside is bright, colourful, a great place to visit on a gloomy day to make up for lack of vitamin D.

Wasn't overly impressed with the food. Starters were ok The Pav baji starter was a burger which is a good concept but personally to much bread, needed to be a bit thinner. The lamb curry in the punjabi thali was really poor not much flavour at all. The special thali was nice, again nothing special. Decor is amazing and service was good.

Wow!!! Gorgeous decor. Warm, cosy and very welcoming. A real authentic Indian street food. The decor and the menu is very unique; completely different and special. The food thali is out of this world. They have various options available which is awesome. Grill is done to perfection. Couldn’t possibly fault them with anything. Definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be going again and again.

Had a meal out with friends last time we had come was three years ago...service was good with a friendly waitress. Atmosphere for a Friday evening wasn't too loud it was quiet calm. We all enjoyed our meal, we had starters of chillie paneer, samosa chaat, pav Baji and chicken curry accompanied by naan which we all enjoyed. I did find their moctails to be a bit priced, just over £5.00. I fancied the panecota with chocolate brownies but the waitress couldn't tell me if the gelatine in the panecota was suitable for vegetarians or not. Was disappointed I really fancied some brownies, had to result to a cappuccino, which I did enjoy. Overall we had a great evening and will return again.

Foods ok, not amazing, hugely overpriced for what you get. I would order again but wont be rushing back... E.g. pakoras were undercooked with raw potato inside, fish pakoras had way too much batter and nowhere near enough fish, naan bread was undercooked in the middle, all four of them were too doughy, On the plus side, the salad looked fresh, it was packaged very well, portion of fries was respectable as you can tell they change their oil frequently.. Ordered through uber eats, delivery was punctual. All items present.
