$42 for 2 Adults to eat at the buffet (no tip included in this price). I did not even see prices displayed anywhere or I wouldn't have even bothered. The owner did not even have loose change when we paid. My friend's overage past the last dollar was 3 cents... the worker (most likely owner) was going to keep an entire extra dollar because he did not have 97 cents to give back. Pay attention on checkout if you eat here and expect to pay a lot!

Amazing buffet. Great variety of very fresh, perfectly flavored Indian food. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Lots of meat and vegetarian dishes. Nothing was extremely spicy. Very reasonably priced. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Excellent lunch buffet, $18.99 per person, well worth it, delicious goat curry & chicken chitinand, my two favs, great southern Indian flavor. Also variety of bread, puri, paratha and multiple deserts to choose from, indian tea and orange juice included in buffet. Absolute must try when you are in Bloomington, great customer service as well.

We ordered pepper chicken and received almost nothing to eat in the to-go box. They serve it nicely at the restaurant, and when it comes to takeout, they try to play with the customers . This is a bit surprising from MR. SIVA BASU, who believe to offer free services in the community and does so to customers who pay.

The buffet was closed (hours given below) when we went so we ordered a couple of dinner items. The overall experience was OK. The Dosa wasn’t crispy nor hot (almost cold). The Puri-Chole was freshly prepared and tasted good. Portion sizes were good and the prices were very reasonable. The interior was clean with some interesting Indian showpieces. Best Indian food I've ever had. One of the best meals I've ever had, full stop. Everything was so unique and indulgent. And the atmosphere was cozy but didn't feel cramped. Perfect experience

Delicious buffet for $16. There was so much variety! The different types of chicken dishes caught my attention, specifically the tandoori chicken dishes. My favorite was dessert, the mango custard over the coconut rice.

I love this food. The owner Siva is one if the nicest human beings I have ever met. Each and every meal is a joy and pleasure to eat. I think everyone should give it try. I can't put into words the excitement I feel each time I go to pick up his food and you know that joy just continues each and every week. For me to continuously enjoy aroma's food says everything about the restaurant. Guess what?? I will be there again and again because it is simply delicious and served with love and kindness. Thanks aroma for all the food and I can't wait to try the next delicious item on your menu!

The place is a re-branded old indian restaurant at a new location. The new location gives better logistical advantage. The decor has improved. We went there on opening night and the food and service was good. If they could maintain the same standard throughout then they will surely do better.

Thought it might be interesting to order some food I don't usually have easy access to make, like lamb or goat. But after ordering our food online we never got any sort of contact information for the 3rd party delivery service nor a confirmation of the order at all. We called and were told it would be ready at 730 or so but when the time past we called again and were told that they gave our order to the third party for delivery and that we had to contact them, which we couldn't since we never got this information. Not to mention the general disinterest and rudeness each time we called. Its 8:08 around 2 hours of waiting for a meal I will never get so now we get to wait to order something else. First impressions seemed good, but after trying to order at this restaurant I will say with full confidence we will never order from here again, I suggest you avoid it as well.

Amazing Food! Siva is such a great host and helps the BLoomington/ Normal community. I was never a huge fan of Indian food till I tried Aroma! I have been eating there for 6 months now. The portions are huge and seasoned perfectly! The Naan is amazing.

So this is for the buffet only, as my takeaway has always been good. First off the price, $19, are you kidding me? Maybe its me, but I know others that feel the same way. Over priced, and the selection is a bit lacking. On my visit the food was dry and most of the selections were jut warm, not hot. While the chilled was also warm. Calling out one dish, the fish, dry and so spicy it was nearly editable. I can handle spice fairly well, but most people can not. And even for me this was unpleasant. During my hour visit I never once saw a staff member check the food temps. However they did keep my table clear of plates and my water filled. Overall disappointing and will likely not return.

Ordered Hyderabad Chicken 65 Biryani through DoorDash and the taste of the Biryani was horrible. It was like having a tamarind rice and it didn’t have salt too. Also, check the color added in the chicken 65 in below photo. Too much food color added to the chicken.

If you enjoy vegan/ vegetarian food go to the Thursday dinner buffet that is 100% vegetarian with several vegan options! I've tried a few dishes before but was hesitant to try new dishes when ordering. I was able to try several options that were all delicious! The staff was super helpful in explaining the dishes and recomending what to pair them with. Will definitely be going back in the future. Buffet includes several main dishes, rice, breads, a few desserts, and drinks. Have ordered take out as well before and everything had been amazing!

We are so lucky we stumbled across this place! Not only is it very good Indian food, but it's a buffet which allows you to try multiple delicious dishes. The servers are very attentive and helpful. Clean restaurant nice ambience and great selection for a buffet. Highly highly recommend!

Very clean and friendly. Lovely place with a lunch buffet if you want to sample many items. Delightful place if you are more versed with Indian cuisine and would like dinner. Don't forget the dessert. They are adorable! I believe there is handicap parking and some accessible seating as well. There is often children present. It is generally very calm and quiet.

We had the buffet since it was my wife’s first exposure to Indian cuisine. I thought it was very good, and my wife, for the most part, enjoyed it. There are no labels to let you know what you’re getting. Luckily, we had a couple of Indian gentlemen with us who were able to explain to us. The restaurant is a little out of the way, but is well worth the search.

The service at this place today was phenomenal. I walked in the host was nice. The waiter was in such a happy mood, very polite, and fast. The cook and other guys in the back all said hi to each other which is so amazing to see staff in a very amazing attitude. Let me say I have NEVER been to a place where the employees are in a good mood, this place was. I hope everyone is rewarded for showing such good behavior! Such a nice restaurant and food .

This ia the second time we are dining at Aroma as a family and both experiences have been very good. We have tried a variety of dishes (all vegetarian) and they have all been very good. Some of the key features which stood out for us, 1. Customer Service - very attentive and customer engaging. 2. Spice levels and their understanding of the customers requirements (we eat spicy food but our daughter and a few of our guests did not) The options available were very helpful in addressing each ones needs. 3. Taste / Flavour and Texture of the food was on point for all dishes ordered. 4. Menu - has a good variety and something for everyone. We will certainly visit again soon.

Great evening spot for dinner with family and loved ones. To start I thought this restaurant was going to be a disappointment, the entrance host had a capricious persona and did not make us feel welcome. However this was turned around by the waitress and supervisor who were fab! The interior of this restaurant is very nice, the seating and tables are very comfortable and presented well. We had 45 minutes to eat and go, the waitress helped advise what was good etc. Food came out in under 15 minutes. The biryani was very tasty. I went safe and ordered other tasty Indian food.

Can't go wrong with their Chana Masala. I also tried their coconut rice for the first time, it was really good, and full of flavor.

First time trying this place and the food was amazing!! I had the paneer butter masala is was amazing!! The galric Naan was sooooo good & paired well with my meal! The Vegetarian samosas were delish!! I'd highly recommend this place! The butter chicken was also a hit!!

Never been here before but that peppered chicken in one of these negative reviews looked amazing so I had to balance things out. Would easily pay 10-20$ for that amount of protein, ready to eat.

This place has a simple welcoming style and a wide variety of Indian dishes from all over the region that caters to everyone who likes this region's foods. I with a friend from India who frequents this place and says the buffet price on Friday is very reasonable (under $10 I believe). A wide array of appetizers and main dishes on the buffet, I tried to sample them all but couldn't. I had to stop after my second plate because I was too full. Various samples of meat, rice, and sweets. I didn't find anything that I wouldn't try again. Very tasty and if you have never tried Indian food most is not very spicy so this is a good place to consider.

Amazing flavours beyond typical USA Indian food! I stopped in on my way through town for a quick lunch. I try to eat vegan, or at least vegetarian, and found great options. I was one of the the only “white” guys eating at this busy place, and that seemed like a good sign. The food was just the best. I loved the chutneys and everything I tried.

I bought butter chicken with basmati rice, side of naan, over all fresh and the naan was home made and the taste was amazing. I will most definitely be coming back.

A great place to go for buffet-style Indian food. Fast service. The parking lot can get crowded at lunch (which isn't necessarily a bad thing for the owners) but parking can be difficult when they're busy.

Got the kofta curry, chicken tikka, and chicken 65. All was great! Stupidly put the wrong address in and they graciously delivered still hot and apologized to us even though it was totally my fault. We’ve loved this place during the quarantine!!

Great place for Indian food. Very authentic, very friendly staff. Quantity is great for the price, their Gongura mutton is really good. The portions are pretty big. An appetizer and a biryani is good enough for two people or even more. Quality and freshness is really greatll. They cater as well. They also have pastries, sweets as well. Service is great, hopefully they open soon for buffets which are a steal for the price. It is the best Indian restaurant in US that I been to.

Excellent food! The best chicken Tikka masala, butter chicken and aroma specialty chicken curry. Garlic naan is also wonderful. What's even better is the owner, Siva, who makes you feel like you're part of the family. They're truly cooking for YOU. Once the dine-in restrictions due to Covid19 have been lifted, my husband and I cannot wait to try their lunch buffet. I hear it's the best in town.
