Yummmmyyyyy Lunch thali - had very nice menu with good quantity(I ate more than I shud eat) looking at the empty thali anyone can understand how good it was! Absolutely amazing experience! Staff was really nice and friendly! We ordered tea after meal and it was perfect masala tea! Be it North Indian, be it South Indian - everyone will love the food! Fits all taste buds because we were three people and we all loved it.

Will never go back...WAY overpriced...got the chicken tikka kebab...NOT A KEBAB...just some dry strips of chicken breast, a TON of raw onions, and peppers...for $19.99 it came with NO RICE and the portion is small, like a lunch size...the guy at the front just handed us our food without barely looking up at us and it wasn't really busy...I mean, no rice? I should've listened to the reviews about the prices and small portions...

I'm very new to Indian food, and was uncertain how I'd feel about it, but on an impulse I stopped here for lunch. I ordered the following: Vegetable Samosas Garlic Naan Chicken Korma (Chicken prepared with yogurt sauce) Gulab Jamun (Milk balls served in rose flavored sugar syrup and a touch of cardamom). I'm sold! Everything was delicious, and I'm going to be going back to try out more of the menu entrees!

06/09/2023 New favourites! I ordered chicken sukha, chicken 65, chilli paneer and gobi Manchuria. Chicken sukha $15.99 was the best and chilli paneer $14.99 was the worst. Chicken 65 $14.99 is very mild and gobi Manchuria $12.99 tastes ok, portions size reduced for the starters. 03/31/2023 I ordered a few starters (chicken 65, chilli paneer, and cut mirchi) for take out and had a great experience. Quality, quantity, taste, accuracy and time everything was good. I’ll come again! 05/20/2022 First positive experience! I ordered chicken 65 and it tastes delicious, quantity is good and looks great. Server was attentive, order ready in time. I request the management to keep your services and food consistent. I will try again and let you all know. I am rating only 3 because all my previous visits are disappointed. 05/12/2022 I tried this place after 6 months and ordered chicken 65 and chilli fish. Chicken 65 was over fried and fish tastes ok not great. Also ordered carrot halwa, strange thing is I got fried onion which smells with biryani masala in it. Maybe they save it from buffet and sell it in the evening. I can give 2 star to this place. Previous Visits Experiences Not Authentic, and Poor Service. I ordered food from this restaurant 3 times in a month to try if there is any improvement in the taste and service. I am disappointed with taste, quality and service from the restaurant. I tried chicken 65, chilli chicken, tandoor chicken, chicken chettinadu curry, Andhra chicken curry, goat biryani, goat curry, chapathi and gulab jamoon. Chilli chicken was extremely spicy and you can’t eat two spoons also the chicken was not soft. I believe they are using frozen meat, both chicken curries are taste the same and very blunt, they used boneless meat for curry and not mention in the menu. I felt like adding boneless chicken in rasam. Goat biryani is like Coloured rice, I don’t understand why your restaurant uses so much artificial Colors. Gulab jamoon and goat curry was ok but not great. When your food is delayed they don’t inform, and don’t even know how long we have to wait. Another mention is bite squad orders all the menu items are overpriced tandoor papad is $12.99 online and at the restaurant $2.99. Bite squad said the restaurant controls the prices and restaurant said bite squad controls the prices.

Naan cold, refused to bring out hot like other Indian restaurants do. Owner/ waiter not very attentive to taking your used plates away.. Butter chicken good but not much meat in sauce. Tandoori good. Rest of buffet so so. They did have Mango Pickle which is rare For 15.00 would rate it a 7 or less

I have had every chicken dish on the menu. It does not disappoint. All the food is great. Priced fair. Service can be a little slow, it is worth the wait. The tea can be a little weak. But the food shines through. Rice is gluffy great and fragrant. The buffett is wonderful if you can make the times. Dosa are huge! Samosa are huge too. All meat is Halal. Can ask for extra spicy (hot) and they kick up the pepper. Expect bones in the meat. This is the deal deal and is traditional. Chutney tastes fresh for the samosa.

Welcome, very nice gentleman who took my order and I told him I'll wait in my car. The guy literally came looking for me to tell me my order is ready. Very well maintained restaurant. Clean rr. They have a full bar and outside covered patio. Food is very tasty . Overall- worth the visit . Glad we got off the highway specially for this one.

Some of the best Indian food in Tallahassee and friendly staff. I go here to get my goat curry and chicken biryani fix! It's spicy enough not to offend American tastes.

Awful service!! We were there for two hours and didn’t receive our food. Good thing I was with good company so we had a lot to talk about. Whenever I asked about our food they had forgotten about us. Then I told them that we were going to pay for our drinks and leave. They argued with us and said that we were not there for two hours. And that our food was coming out momentarily. We never saw the food. Worst service in Tallahassee by far.

The butter chicken was great! Some of my favorite in town! I got it medium which has hardly any hint of spice to me, but has excellent flavor. I did find a couple little bones in my chicken so chew thoroughly. I got the regular naan, which was good. My buddy got the garlic naan, which I think I would have paid the extra dollar for in hindsight! Plenty of parking too

DEAD ROACH I was at the restaurant and ordered "Mayuri special chicken biryani" on the suggestion of the server. After half way through I found a dead roach. We let the server know about the roach and he took away the food and we paid for the food and left the restaurant. I had nausea, abdominal pain, vomit after the food. I have serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness of food prepared at the restaurant.

Good Indian food. Ambiance is lacking but they are moving to a new location soon. The benghan barta (eggplant) dish was one of the best I’ve had, and it’s one of my favorite dishes so I order it frequently. They added what seemed like carmelized onions which was delicious. I want to come back and try their lunch buffet soon. Edit: I went back 7 months later and changed my review from a four to a five. After having been in Tallahassee for 7 months I’ve come to learn that the food scene here is lacking and this in fact is my go to place when I want a flavorful meal that is executed well. Keep up the good work.

Best of all Indian food I have tried in Tallahassee. I am a novice with international food but the chicken tikka marsala is good and is my favorite. Service is welcoming. Price is moderate.

I can't say enough of this restaurant. Everything was made fresh and served for the lunch buffet. We were apprehensive before going but when we started eating, we couldn't stop. It was very good. A must eat place if you are in the area.

I go regularly for the lunch buffet. Didn't like the old location, really like this one. Food on the buffet has a little spice to it, unlike some Indian buffets that are afraid to make the buffet spicy at all. Quick too--I can easily be in and out in 15 minutes at lunch if I want.

They have a BUFFET, I Love the goat curry, for me this is the only place to get variety of foods with TASTY vegetables.. I can have a complete well balanced healthy meal that tastes good, soups, salad, sides, starches, dessert, fruit, beverages. I'm not a drinker but tried my sons mojito, and want more, I never leave hungry. Great value

Food is pretty good but the staff are awful. Tired of them treating me like I'm in the wrong when I ask them to give me what I ordered, so I'll not be returning ever again.

Goat Korma was delicious! 1st time trying the Taj Mahal Indian beer, that was good. The veg samosas with the mint/cilantro sauce and the tamarind sauce was good. I probably wouldn't order it again, but never had it before so wanted to try it. I enjoyed it,but probably just wouldn't order again. Server was very friendly. Garlic naan was good but I would have preferred the regular (which is what I actually ordered, no problem though)

First time I tried Mayuri. I went for lunch buffet. I really like that there was plenty of nana. They have several dishes to choose from. My favorite was the goat curry and butter chicken. The food is nicely spiced not to spicy. Also drinks are included in the buffet price of $15. Everything is self service including drinks. The food was good. My only complaint is the food wasn’t very warm temperature. Staff was very attentive to fill the buffet and to keep it clean. I will definitely go back. I would like to try options off the menu. Looks like they would be able to seat large groups.

Good lunch buffet with a decent selection. I would have liked more curries and fewer rice dishes, personally. It was really tasty and while busy, not crowded.

Arguably one of the better indian spots in Tallahassee. Great selection of entrees and appetizers. They have vegetarian meals available for people. Oh! And their meat is halal! Really enjoy this place but they don’t have the kind of pickle i like unfortunately.

The food was excellent! The service was so-so. The waiter never brought me a refill, luckily I had the water also, but I would have liked a refill with a spicy meal! We ordered the Pakora, Garlic Naan, Butter Chicken & Mayuri Special Chicken Biryani with Basmati Rice. Everything was so good!! Will return for lunch buffet one day!!

Wow, what a delicious buffet! The only other Indian restaurant in town that has one offers a Sunday super buffet. But if you want a large, yummy buffet, this is a great option. Expect to pay for it. Every buffet comes with a fountain drink, and you’ll pay about $20 for a savory and fulfilling experience.

  • 3/5 Alicia R. 1 year ago on Google
Their lunch buffet is $20. I feel I have to start off with that because when I went in I asked how much the buffet was and instead of telling me they said it's over there you can start now. I got my own food, I got my own soda, you get your own cutlery, the people working there are just to pick up the plates. It's a really small buffet for $20. I highly suggest going to Chow Time if you want a large selection. The food was decent, but I don't think it was $20 decent. Especially for a small lunch buffet. Especially when I asked how much it was and they didn't answer me. I should have recognized the red flag and left, but I figured how much would it be, $16 at the most? I was so wrong. Chow time is almost half the price.

We always enjoy the food here. Our favorite is the butter chicken. Just wish it to be milder spice. The dosa is spectacular. The service is good. Wish the staff spoke clearer English. They are hard to understand.

06/28/20 update: THE BUFFET IS BACK!! I just can't express how happy I am after tasting their amazing food again. Please, be a nice folk and wear your mask, use the sanitizers they installed, and just have common sense in these times; that way we all can enjoy the food and be happy

Indian Awesomeness in every way and very, very friendly service. Went in on the lunch buffet. Everything was wonderfully flavorful and delicious and fresh. Nice touch, with piping hot dosas brought table side. Loved all the choices, which is more than you'll typically see, especially so with the proteins which even though I'm usually looking for vegan-iffy-ish things was nice to see. So much fun too, with this really nice weather, dining outside. Just beautiful. Solid four something rounded up. ...was in previously and they weren't able to make chana for whatever reason, which is what I was jonesing for, so I bounced but the smell in there was sooo good and fellow yelpers Marcy H and Bryan Ps review of the day encouraged me to give them another try.
